I am going to try and put some "me time" aside this weekend. I am very tired and emotions running high. Not enough hours in the day, changes at work, agro at work, gaining weight, can't get my head round all this etc etc etc (and do realise my problems are small ones in comparison to others so feel guilty for feeling sorry for myself!). Will drink plenty, sleep plenty and hopefully be buzzing with a mega post on Monday lunch!!!! (Lola/Jen - you ask how I am soo positive all the time on the boards - I avoid them like the plague which I feel neg
!!!)

Hi Girlies
Well ET went well yesterday. I had 3 embies but back only two good enough for transfer, the two transferred were both 4 cells and the other was only a two cell, therefore they could not freeze that one. My clinic does not grade them anymore, they just go by, Good, Average or Poor, both mine were good.!
So now I just have to wait until the 18th, the lying around is hard for me, I hate it. Boyf has just gone to vid shop for lots of girlie chick flicks for me.

Not much happening on phoenixes at minute..

Well ET went well yesterday. Dh and I are just back from visiting his sister in St Helen's. Had a lovely time - chilled, drank wine, had a barbecue and sat in the sun.
The day before we went (Thurs) went to visit my nephew (and also godson). He's now 2 and soooo cute I just wish I could se him every day. Thought I did really well as my sis in law is 31 weeks preg and I was totally fine and didn't cry - not even when I got home !!
On the tmt front I AM TOTALLY FED UP!!
I asked my Edinburgh consultant if he could arrange my hsg locally to save me going 200 miles to Darlington. He said the nhs wait was 6 months but I could get it done within 2 weeks privately. On Friday I still hadn't heard anything (10 days ater speaking to him) so phoned the private hospital to find out if anything had been scheduled. They said they haven't even had a referral regarding me. What's more, it can only be done on a Monday night. This Monday its fully booked then the person doing it is on holiday for a fortnight. That means there is no feasible way I can start diui in 3 weeks when AF comes! AARRGHHHHH!!! I also had to get my bloods repeated during the week there because the nurse forgot to label the samples If I can start the month after (when next again AF comes)I would be testing 2 days before going to Sorrento - don't know how I feel about that. Also if I still haven't had hsg done by that stage I will have to miss the following month (end July) as day 2 of that AF will be the day I go to Sorrento meaning that I'll have to wait til the following month which will be end August WHICH IS AGES AWAY!
On the plus side, my friend who is manager of the fertility/IVF unit in Edinburgh thinks that the 6 months wait for hsg on nhs is wrong and it might be shorter than that. She's going to check it out for me do there's the chance I could save myself £600 which would be majorly good.
Sorry for the rant. Glad I got that off my chest.

well my resignation was posted off today to work, and i called some supportive work mates as I wanted to them myself about my changes....I did cry some as evrything in my life seems to be changing...but this afternoon i felt good Low and behold!!!! didn't AF arrive 5 days early.............SOOOOOOOOOOO happy that i can now phone the clinic tomorrow and be signed up for pre tmt scan. I am on a short cycle so no down regging. If everything A okay i start stimming in 3 days! wow everything and i mean everything is changing... hopefully for the best eh!
anyway will catch ya when i have been to the clinic

I understand what u are feeling, Ive been there honey. the bloody nhs has much to answer to huh???
We had our HSG on nhs and the wait was nothing, so how come up ur way it's 6 mths!!!? Crazy huh??
Also did u know Hsg has to be done mid cycle?
But if your expected start date is 28th June, mine is 24th June, depends on AF obviously!!
Jen, parhaps Af came early because it's ment to be for you this time, I have a huge feeling with everything changing like me this will be ur time to get FAT!!!!!

Jen I bet that is a weight of your mind now that you have handed your notice in. AF 5 days early and only 3 days until you start treatment. How are you feeling in yourself at the moment?
Lis you must be getting stronger, seeing pregnant women is always so hard, well done you for not crying. I can’t believe the trouble you are having trying to arrange your hsg, I cant believe your consultant didn’t put the referral through, don’t they realise we are stressed enough as it is without the incompetence thrown in as well. I’m crossing everything for you that you don’t have to wait too long
Lola hope your course isn’t to much hard work and you get some chill out time as well. I will be definitely joining your 3rd time lucky life raft. It will be our turn next.
Lucy hope you are enjoying your chick flicks. Glad ET went well and those embies are now bedding down where they belong, only another 8 months to go
Julie hope you managed to get some ‘me’ time at the weekend and you spent lots of time chilling with some wine. Hope you don’t get too much agro at work today

I’m having mega problems at work, boss from hell. I am trying to sort it out with HR but seem to be getting nowhere fast at the moment. I’m due back in on Wednesday and I think the atmosphere at work is going to be hell because I think HR will have told him I have complained about him, I am desperately trying to move departments and my old boss is fighting to have me back but HR are trying to sweep the problems under the table and pretend they are not there.
Me and DH are desperately putting all our hopes that a fresh cycle will work for us in September time. DH is really concerned about me getting OHSS again and ending up in Hospital, I have tried to reassure him that I am sure it wont happen again and that I will be monitored a lot more. However my concern is that I won’t get many follies because they won’t want to over stimulate me. Any one know
