Hi Sarah

I used buserelin once as well. I don't think you have to be quite so strict with timings as with Syranel - I'm sure an hour out here and there won't do any major harm. Just stick to those times as best you can (I did about the same times).

Good luck with your cycle!!

Helen xx

PS - I wouldn't worry about it bouncing about, sure it'll be fine! :-)

Hi Sarah

I am also sniffing Suprefact, but I was told to sniff it 4 times a day, morning, lunch, teatime and bedtime. It doesn't really matter if it is out an hour here or there, it does say on the instructions to take it as soon as you remember!

I used the other the last time too.

I had to go for a blood test today to see if I have down reg, and will get the result tomorrow. However, I don't feel that I have, as I haven't had much in the way of side effects this time, and last time, on the other I did.

This one can't be as strong as like you say I was only sniffing twice a day and now on this one it is four times, and again like you I set my alarm on my mobile phone to remind me, it is a pain coz if your out and about you do have to take it with you.

Oxford hospital told me that when the Suprefact was first being used the girls were taking it twice a day, and none of them were down regulating on the first appointment, only until a couple of weeks later that is why the dose had been uped to 4 times day.

Wishing you lots of good luck with your treatment. Hope it all goes well.

Take Care

Love

Marteen

[Edited by MARTEEN on 11-Aug-03 07:36]
