Feel cheeky for posting...

Post by Zed2003 »

Hi girls,

I do feel really cheeky for posting here because I don't really belong anywhere on these boards now....

Anyway, probably most of you won't remember me, but I wanted to post my news anyway!

We first went though IVF at Easter in 2002. I was a poor responder and only got a couple of eggs. That was a negative. That summer, we took the plunge again and after much hasstle both mentally and physically we got pregnant. At 7 weeks we saw the heartbeat and started to relax, but a few weeks kater we sadly lost our baby. It took a long time to get on the rollercoaster again, but we did the following summer and again after a lot of problems, got pregnant. I bled often for the first 14 weeks, had cramps and clots, but our beautiful son was born healthy eventually, albeit 7 weeks early.

Although we felt very lucky, the want for another child never went away, so we started to think about it all again. The day after we got our letter asking for payment to start, the impossible happened - I found out I was pregnant. I had no symtoms and we simply did not believe it - I mean, nine years it has taken!!!!!

About a week ago, I bled. It nearly killed me mentally. It didn't last long but we've had to wait 5 days for the scan today. Thankfully all looked well, but when I got home, I bled again and worse than last week. I'm trying not to worry as they saw some bruising so hopefully it's just that. I have to monitor and call EPU back if it gets worse.

I'm being positive  and just wanted to share my news. For this moment, I am 7 weeks pregnant...

Hope all you ladies are well
