Hi girls,
Just been catching up on all your posts - wow a lot has been going on - I can't believe that we are now in May and the tread was for the New Year.

My thoughts are with you all, I'm hoping that some of the baby hormones will rub off of some of you and on to me so that this time I can get a BFP as well.

Can't believe that my sis-in-law is 15 weeks this coming week, she's not yet had a first scan as couldn't get in with midwife and then apparently there's a baby boom in Norfolk at the mo so scan date was later than normal - she's a bit worried as although having mega morning sickness and her clothes are a bit tight - nothing sets your mind at rest like the scan.

Had my baseline scan - they've now discovered I have a fibroid in my Uterus - they reckon that this will not cause a problem and have carried on with treatment - I go for the endo scan on Thursday and then will know for deffo dates for ET - during w/c 15 by my reckoning! Am a bit worried about this fibroid as they never mentioned anything last time and if it wasn't there and it didn't work how can it work with it (if that makes sense!) - the clinic keeps telling me that if it was a problem they wouldn't treat me! Has anyone had any experience of fibroids?

Sending you all happy thoughts - will update you on Thursday as have whole day off work (yipee)

Take care

Kelly

Morning!
What a horrid wet morning it is!
Sue - best of luck with your scan this week. I know what you mean about telling people. We paid for a nuchal fold scan and test at 12 weeks cause our local hospital couldn't guarantee a 12 week scan either. There's still lots of people I haven't told but hey - they'll work it out!!!
Anna - How you doing?!!! What day are we on now!!?
Lynne - yeah - you started the injections. fantasic! See keeping still worked!
Christine - happy Birthday! Keeping things crossed that you get the best present ever! Ignore niggly doubts - we all get them and they are not always right!
Sophie - wow you have been busy with the FETs! Keep us posted!
Kelly - I had a fibroid last time round, but apart from when the doc said "did you know you had a fibroid" it was never mentioned again?! Said it wouldn't get in the way of IVF but they would keep an eye on it. That was the last I heard about it?! If they don't worry - then we shouldn't worry! (yeah right!)

Anyway - happy monday to all!

Hi everyone

I haven't posted here since January when I left work for 9 weeks for my 3rd IVF cycle (1st April I got a BFN). I check on here a couple of times a week to see how you are all doing but have felt unable to post.

My DH isn't up to more IVF etc so a question to all you ladies is, are any of you unexplained infertility and have you ever been prescribed Clomid? I seem to ovulate ok & just think that perhaps Clomid can't hurt? I'm driving myself crazy now wondering what else I can do.

I phoned QMH & The Bridge Centre approx 2 weeks after my result to let them know it was BFN (by answering machine) & neither of them have yet phoned me back so I'm going to phone QMH & book an appt with them to discuss last cycle and bring up the possibility of Clomid.

I guess I'm clutching at straws. I seem to take 1 step forward & 2 steps back.

Anyway, thanks for listening.

Best wishes to everyone who is just starting treatment, on the 2ww, and waiting for scans.

Lets hope summer weather returns real soon, all this rain is depresssing.

Hi All

Hope you are all doing ok. Thinking of you all.

Kelly- Good to see you post.Sorry to hear about the fibroids. If the clinc think it isn't a problem. Then try not to worry, I know it is hard.

Cla- Thanks for the mention. Trying to stay positive. Hope you ok.

Pauline- Hope you manage to get some answers. I would book an apointment with your gp to doscuss the clomid. It must be worth a try. Take Care.

Luv to you all.

Speak soon

hi Ladies, happy Monday!
Christine, hope you are Ok and have stayed away from those evil pee sticks! Not long to go now. Fingers and everything still crossed for you x

Cla, can't believe you are 17 weeks already. Time has flown by. Hope builders are behaving themselves.

Sue-e not long til your scan. I feel some anxious vibes coming from you......Relax.......deep breaths...all will be fine!

Sophie, good to see you post. Goodness you are a trooper. Fingers crossed that this is the one!

Kelly, hope all goes well on Thursday. Enjoy your day off!!

Pauline, hope you are Ok. QM have their moments don't they? I have been with them over the past year. They are not the most positive bunch of people are they? I found that when I was assertive and demanded apptmts that I usually got what I wanted! For example after my last cancelled cycle Nick said I would have to wait for my next AF for a consultation. I said no! I needed one asap. I got one! If I had waited for them I would be another month down the line regarding my egg donor tmt. They really don't seem to have any sense of urgency at all. The dr had decided that egg donor tmt was the next step for me and said that there was a 18 month waiting list. By this time I had already booked my apptmt in Barcelona!
As far as I know clomid will help if you are not ovulating. I have never had it, I'm sure some wise women here will be able to help . Unexplained infertility really sucks...if you don't know what's broke you don't know how to fix it! I hope you can get an apptmt soon and get some answers. Take a list of questions and you go girl!!!! PMA and good luck to you. Let us know how you get on.

Our list, hope it's OK

Morning all!

As you can see, still haven't worked out my ticker! Can get tickerfactory to work, but not the one I want on snugglepie?! After I paste into my profile and then update it it goes missing??!!!! haven't a clue what's going on but will try again later!

Sue - I know what you mean about waiting between scans etc. It feels really lonely, like someone should be looking afetr you. With all the hustle and bustle of ivf it sort of feels like you've been abandoned! My next scan is 1st June - sounds ages away but then I tell myself I'm only 2 weeks from being half way and then realise just how quick in fact it's going!

Christine - best of luck for tomorrow. I can't log on but will be thinking of you. I really, really hope it's good news.

Kelly - RU still on for EC on Monday? If so, best of luck! here's hoping to a bumper crop!

Lynne - how's it all going????????

Anna - should we begin jigging yet or is it still too early?!!! Knowing your af we may need to start ahead of the game!

Sophie - best of luck with your downregging next week! RU sniffing or injecting????

Pauline- hope you are well. Straw Clutching is well worth it - sometimes it pays off. Having never become pregnant despite never taking contraception and being sexually active for over 15 years I figured natural was never going to be for me. Then last year, completely out of the blue I did! Unfortunately that one was ectopic but was a revelation - I did it! Didn't fancy waiting another 15 years so continued on withthe ivf that was already planned but it goes to show that sometimes it can be done. Very best of luck and drop in whenever you can!

Has anyone heard from Souris??

Well another glorious day! Best get back to work (boo!!!)

Have a great weekend all!

Hi Everyone

Hi Cla, thanks for thinking of me & for your words of encouragement. I was having a good week but today feel down. Had a look at your snugglepie link - very cute.

Haven't made a follow-up appt yet with QMH - I'll wait until I come back from Ireland so that will be around beginning of June.

Christine - hoping you get a BFP for tomorrow.

Well it is lovely weather here too so can't wait to get out of here this evening.

Have a good weekend all.

Pauline xx
