It will depend entirely on where you live but I had my first cycle free and then on the next cycle they paid for the drugs so that was better than nothing. Because I was a poor responder I could not have got any more money out of them but if I had been more of a 'sure bet' they would have part funded again. Your clinic should know the details for your area.

I know there used to be a postcode thing going on and luckily we are being funded for 3 cycles, however now i think that the NHS fund 1 cycle and then they re-evaluate from there!, so i would not write it off straight away!

Hi. We are very lucky where our NHS in Aberdeen fund 3 cycles - 2 fresh. The cut off age is 38 so if you reach 38 at treatment you won't get it funded. I think every NHS board have different funding. Good luck with yours. Paula x
