Thank you for the well wishes, everyone! I have to admit it is a bit surreal to see my own "countdown thread" on here :)

The pregnancy definitely went fast although this end part seems to be going awfully slow. It all hit me so fast...I went from being able to do all of my normal work and chores to everything being so exhausting and even painful. I know it is all for a good cause, but I just can't wait to hold my little girl in my arms :)

I have a doc appointment on Wednesday, but as of this last one I wasn't showing any signs of being close. I will keep you all posted!

Thanks again everyone :)

hi brandy! just wanted to say goodluck at the docs for wed - hopefully they'll tell u that she's getting ready and into position! at 37.5 weeks our baby was definitely on its way 'down there' and now i can really feel it - im really starting to walk funny - feels like somethings gonna come out lol its so uncomfortable especially when it happened yesterday at the supermarket, i was so embarrassed coz it really makes u stop in ur tracks so i pretended to look at something in the aisle!! by the way, where r u from seeing as u knew that it was mothers day yesterday?

Brandy

Not too much longer and she'll be with you - take care and enjoy these last few days before you have her here.

Big hugs and here's to a safe and smooth delivery.

Well, ladies...I am still waiting for our little girl to make her appearance, but I got some encouraging news this morning. I am 85% effaced and 1 cm dilated, not to mention I lost my mucous plug yesterday :) Sorry if that's TMI. Of course the doctor had to say that it could happen tonight or next week! We're so anxious and can hardly stand it :)

I'm hoping you ladies that have already given birth pop in to read this. I have been having a lot of contractions...some pretty uncomfortable. Will I know when the "real" contractions start and when I need to start timing them?

omg brandy, so it could be happening for you right now!! shouldnt u ring the labour ward? thats what we were told to do and they guide u - they keep telling u to ring back every half hour or so to keep track. i know that for us, if the contractions have been going for an hour at 5-7 minutes apart its time to go in!! oh goodluck sweetie, i cant wait to hear all about it!!
luv, d :D
