Hi Everyone,
I had my positive beta last week and it was 274, 14 days after my GIFT procedure. DH and I have been trying for 10 years and this is the first success. I've had 8 IVF cycles and now 1 GIFT. Today we go in to see the sac. I'm soooooooooooooooooooo nervous. What if its not there? What if I'm not PG afterall!!! Any advice or prayers would be great!
Kathya
Hi Kathya and congrats on your positive test! For you to feel so nervous is completely normal - especially after everything you have gone through to get to this point. I have had 2 scans and was nervous wreck before both of them. All I can tell you is try to think positive - take deep breaths - and know that everything is going to be okay. Once you see that sac (it's probably too soon for you to see a heartbeat yet) you will feel so much better. I know it is hard - I think anxiety comes with motherhood - lol!
Good luck and let us know how it goes!!

Congratulations Kathya! Lisa is right. Being worried and nervous ever step of the way seems part of this fun process. Don't get too over-stressed or filled with worry though (easier said then done) because I don't think that's good for your body either. Find ways to relax and be calm and have faith that this is your time! You've been through a lot and deserve this! Can't wait to hear how the scan goes. Congratulations again!
