Question after 8 week Ultrasound

I thought I would post this question here as well as on the general board.

I had my 8 week ultrasound today.. ( I am 8.2weeks) Everything was great.. The heart was strong.. Everything was fine. Except...

The doctor said he was concerned about a pocket of fluid between my Uterus and Placenta of the baby.. I have never even heard of this before. But he said Don't Worry.. ( yea don't worry .. Sure I wont) we will recheck you again in 2 weeks.

Anyone have any information or have had this happen to them.

Sounds like a subchorionic bleed or hematoma....In some women, they never see anything from the bleed, others like myself get panic by a gush of bright red blood and possible small clot, but in both cases the babies are usually fine....these things usually resolve themselves....

Thank you! Yes I am just telling myself, I probably had the same thing with both my kids.. and Never knew it because I didn't have US at 8 weeks..
