Dear girls

Just a quick one because weekends tend to be busy or at least I don't seem to have the time to settle down and read and compose!

Just had to say thinking of you Little R. Your embies/blasties will soon be back on board and I'm sure they will find a quiet spot and enjoy the ride. No need to say take it easy, at least you have your mum with you. As you know we are all praying for you sending positivity your way. It's good you're excited.

Hello to Jen, Lola, Steph and Walshy. Will write more tomorrow probably.

 Hi Buds

Can't do this party thing anymore, must be age. Spent two hours in a limo drinking champers then way too long in the pub. Feel completely exhausted and have work in 4 hours aaaahhhhhhh.

Little R - Hope your embies are ready to stick, i predict the start of the Buds success, your the first one to become a big pregga mama. Relax, get pampered and take care of your babies

Loopy - When is it all over, i feel so tired for you. A big pass is coming your way, you deserve it.

Steph - Your next for the pregga mama camp, are you getting excited yet? Hope your not working too hard, have a break girl

Walshy - Am thinking of you, hope time is helping to mend that broken heart. You will have your day soon, keep positive

Camilla - What you up to this weekend? Hope the weather is better where you are, think there is going to be a flood here, it won't stop raining  Roll on our week of summer, hope it comes soon haha.

Went to see another house last night, how embarassing, they could have cleaned it first. Goes without saying that one is no. Thinking about splashing out on a cool mini now until we find a house. Hey, you only live once eh?

Have a good Sunday, catch up tomorrow

Jemla, I'm with you! Hangovers just get harder my love - just keep drinking the agua, amiga. Man - is shame you have to work but at least the weather is crapola :D Minis are lovely. I had a mini (old version) for years and years, its like urban rally driving every time you go to Sainsers, Var rooooommmmm
Don't know about you but I feel completely out of the ivf game at present. Have enjoyed the break but want to start again soon - launch the 3rd Time Lucky Liferaft good n proper.

Petit R - thinking of you! Did your mum go in with you? You now have them back a bordo.... I hope they like Greys  STICK!!!!! Take it easy, drink lots of water and milk and no alcohol, caffeine etc - when is your test date chica? Have to put it on our wee list.

Haloidus to ma 'tobers.

Guess what I'm doing? Yep. My head is swimming with random facts that don't quite hang together. I'm already pretty nervous - I'm going to be postal by exam date. Har har har  The abomination on the 12th consists of 3 papers, 2 essay papers (5 hours) and some mundo bizarro slide show n tell (1 hour) , 2 weeks later are 2 days of viva's, clinicals and interrrrrrrogation. I think I just blew a fuse. Breathe breathe cool wet grass cool wet grass.

Bonza, I'm off to stuff cake and tea and reboot ma bad self. Sustenance for my rancid egg head

Anyone for a rousing chorus of Shes A Laydeh?

Mucho amor

Whoo, where's everyone disappearing too?

Hope Little R is resting up and looking after herself. We're thinking of you and there's so much crossed i'm having trouble standing up. Let us know how your doing babe  .

Yes Loopy, i do feel a bit lost at the moment but low and behold a letter arrived today---you must have special powers.
I am on the waiting list for a left salpingectomy (knackered tuberoo removal) and the nearest date so far is in August. Hopefully i might not need it done and we can crack on with the Big 3 but on Monday if there is still fluid in the tube then it will be zapped.
Feel so mixed up. I want it removed so there is no problem with the ivf as the fluid can be toxic to my embies but i don't want it removed as i then have to wait months before i can cycle again  Horrible, evil body, i hate it.
So it's back to the old waiting game again but i think i will be getting chopped into for defo  .

Well it's dh's turn for the hopsital. He goes in tomorrow for an op on his shoulder. It dislocated 3 times while in the Army and has metal plates holding him together (not only me who is a wreck in the fmily), now it's causing pain so they need to have a look inside and see if he has to get a bigger op  .

Ok am thinking of you all. Away to paint my nails and watch all the weirdos on Big Brother--------and we thought we had problems  .

Hello out there to the Octochicks

Jen - Thought it looked a little quiet too! Countdown to Monday for you then. I can see your dilemma but I suppose at the end of the day if the fluid hasn't budged it will have to be sorted. In a way if you don't have a choice on the course of action won't that make it easier ie you won't have to decide what to do, it will be decided for you. After Monday you'll know what's what and can deal with that and the timescales. Sorry that sounds a bit unsympathetic but I don't mean to! You have to trust your doc to do what's best for your chances of baby making.

Little R - Where are you girl? Hope your absence means you're resting and everything's ok.

Lola - My brain aches making a shopping list so hat's off to you for all your revising.

I know I'll have to have a peep later to see if Littles has been here.

Tuber Nuders!

I can't believe I have been computer-less during Littles big moment.. ah, I will be here for the BFP that our noodle will be getting very soon!!

Littles- would luv an update after you are done sitting with feet in air! Tornado of sticky dust has just been whooshed your way sweets. WHHHOOOOSH!

Lola BUG- My, what a big brain you have, I can see it from here! I like it that you will be a specialist- agent Bristow style.. speakin of which, just watched the FINAL episode last night... you will get no goods from me! Lips are clamped shut, steel trapped, wired together...... Demmy is rather enjoying learning to strip. I told him he should test for the Chippendales (he has the body for it after all the life raft rowing and treadmill boot camp Lola style) BUT, he says he will only strip for his Lola Lovey. Awww, what a puppy!

Jens- I think you and DH need to step inside the magi healing bubble.. it is quite a mess from when Lola was living in there for months. (She's not exactly a neat freak ;)

Camilla- havin fun in preggers land......... good stuff! We will be inspired by success!

Walshy- missin la Walshey.

As for me....
I have baseline ultrasound tommorrow and should be beginning Lupron!!! And so it begins..... HOPEFULLY! Fingers crossed and in full lotus... OMMMM. I feel the peace and calm wash over me... what crap! I am all a jitter. So nervous for this to go right and not another false start... actually excited too.. strange feeling that. Plus, today is my 29th b-day. Yowza.

All a flutter,
Steph

Oi Oi

Steph HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Can't believe you're not even 30 yet!!! I should be more maternal toward you.....will try harder. What are you doing? Going out somewheres special? Fine dining? A final Margarita???
It all starts tomorrow - the wurly road to pregnancy. I hope everything goes smoothly for my girl, another 'ober pregnant kaboom! back of the net! And hey! keep in touch a bit more missie! Or I'll confiscate your stripping pole  And feel free to tell ALL about Alias as I am so far behind I'll never catch up - my big questions Is Vaughn really alive? Do they end up together? As for Demetrio - his loyalty really is as big as his ass. I did leave the safety bubble in a bit of a state, I'll give it a spring clean before Jen takes possession.....

petit rrrr - where are you? Hope all went well and you are simply taking it very easy welcoming those lovely blasts to Chez Uterus, casa to the stars! Try and update us shameless punters :D

Jen - how many tubes have you got left? Its a bit of a toss up isn't it - I am in the same boat on the tube front. Y'know, it may be best to take the long view and get it removed before starting again. Easily said, frustratingly done. How is the dh? Is he still in hospital?

Haloo to Camilla and Walsheroo

I'm having a dreadful time trying to study, my friends. No motivation, it has been replaced with paralysing panic. No es muy bueno as we say in Wales
Have finally booked my follow up appointment with the Dr McFertile - 23rd June. Littles and Stephola will be up the duff by then! Then I'll get the skinny on what happens next, more tests, straight in for another go, tune in next month for the next installment of Barren Heights; The Musical. :D Have life raft at ready.......

OK back to books
Will check in later for news, views and salty cruise

My beloved Octocheeks

Thank you for all your posts, I feel your thoughts from here. I have the twins with me
DH is finally home and as I have been instructed to rest on the couch, he is typing this post. :? He's at my back ( = little R correcting my spelling:beck) and call  ... don't you just love the 2ww? :) :P :)
All is well... the waiting game begins and with it, the doubts, the bouts of PMA... Luckily I've been aloud ( allowed) to venture out of the bedroom... There is a whole new world out there :o !

Jen: poor you... in limbo again. I am crossing my fingers that your fluid will dry up and you will be able to board the life raft nbr3 with our loopy Lola. People are the limit: I can't believe they didn't clean the house although with our former felony committing tenants, nothing surprises me  Wohaaaaa ( Wow)... I am so jealous... I would loce a mini cooper... did you ever see the Italian Job? Boys ( boy) those minis are cool...I can totally picture Dr Jones as a mini driver...it goes with her Sydney Bristow style. So, Jen lass what color will yours be?

Steph: thinking about you lots    Happy belated birthday! ... you are probably getting up for your big Day... all extremeties crossed for your base jump can. I can completely relate to these feelings of fear and excitement. Please give us good news asap... lots of PMA... I still love Vaughn...can't believe it's ended so soon. You are so lucky to see all the seasons finales before us.

Lola: you always make us (me too, the DH) lough... you are such a breath of fresh air (especially here in Dubai). I can't believe how much brain cramming you have to do... sounds inhuman. I am tired just thinking about it... can you use any of Martin Lukes' theories to help you out or motivate you? Sending you heaps of sunshine to improve your day and to warm up your neurones.

Walshy: virtual hugs to you...

Camilla: so when is EDD? You are so lucky

I can see this 2ww is going to be very long (especially when I am typing)...test on 31st May

Thank you so much for your support, will check in later

Much love
Little R

P.S. This is DH: Thank you for always being there for little R :D

Sit down immediately girls!!! Fasten seatbelts for a big shock!!!!!!

I went to the docs for baseline ultrasound and he informs me that I will not be able to start my cycle..... because ............. instead he found a 7 week along baby with a heartbeat!!!!!! Can you friggin believe it!!!!!!!!!        I am 7 weeks and 1 day preggers and I heard the heartbeat!! I am in shock. I don't think I would actually believe it except I have the ultrasound pictures to prove it.

I am totally excited and trying not to let the memory of the past miscarriage haunt me and scare me.. the doc did day cautious optimism for the next 5 weeks until the magi 12 week mark.... but I am already more than halfway there! I also have not been living like a preggers.. on BCP (he says not to worry about that), drinkin wine, exercisin a storm, out on the airboat, ...... but he says not to worry about any of that. So I am trying to stay excited and not worry about a miscarriage until/unless it happens. Which it won't I tell ya!!

Oh my god!Oh mY God! Oh my god! I am in absolute shock. Luckily I dragged DH along to this appt... he got to see baby and hear heartbeat too. Otherwise he wouldn't have believed me. When the doc said we were pregnant.. DH says... I gotta sit down. His face of shock was priceless. He sat down and put his head down!!! What loveliness!!!

Girls I will check in later after all the fuzziness of the moment leaves my brain to function.......

Eyes in frozen state of shock with eyebrows raised,
Steph

Hi Powerpuffs!

Well, I am in slightly less shock then before. and was actually able to comprehend and read your posts....

Littles- as one octapoo said a little bit ago.. it's time for the octobers to have a run of good luck.. this is it sweets.. you next! I likey that DH is hovering about and helping for 2ww.. give him big thanks a bunch kisses from the rest of the Tubers.. he deserves it.. although Demetrio might get flaming jealous if we devote our group attention to another man. Aw, Demmy will always be the groups first luv schmuffin!

Jen- thanks for sunshiney words.. crazy life! But, I hate to burst your relaxation bubble.. was not relaxation, it was running about like chicken with head cut off trying to cram everything in before cycle begins.. like Lulers said- it was the wine and spirits, exercising and airboating... plus, obviously a little romp in the hay for funs sake!

Lulers- I luved your post in the other area... exclamation point to your hearts content!! ! ! what fun.
Ok- the news yu can use.. alert Alias spoiler ahead........ look away now if you dont' want it revealed........ Vaughn is alive, Sydney and Jack were hiding him, Sloan got the Rembaldi final piece of the puzzle and shot Jack,Sydney shoots Sloan dead, Jack is dying, Sydney says goodbye and goes after her evil crazy witchy mama because she steals the Rembaldi.... Sloane falls into Rembaldi goo as he is dying and comes back to life--- the big mystery and final- you can live forever and ever with Rembaldi on your side. Sloan is about to go after Sydney as a freak of nature unstoppable machine.. Jack lives long enough to blow up the underground cave Sloan is in and traps him down there for all eternity like the devil he is. Sydney kills mommy and goes to live on a beach in happiness with Vaughn, little Isabelle and new baby son Jack. She still does an occoasional mission.. daughter Isabelle shows great promise as a super spy.

Camilla- Have fun with the parentals in Spain!

Walshy- when are you coming back into our world?????

Actually slightly functioning now,
Steph
