Hi ladies
I am happy to report after my 1st scan today that I am having ONE!!! My DH and I are very relieved!! We already have a 2 year old daughter and weren't too excited about the thought of having twins this time. So just one and measured perfectly and were able to see the heartbeat.
AMD -- Hope you are doing OK. I am so sorry for you. Take care of yourself.
Everyone else. Good luck and keep the dreams alive.

Brneda - Congratulations on the beanie!!!!

I too had my scan yesterday and its been confirmed that I also have 1 beanie - a great heartbeat and perfect size!

We feel especially blessed as although it only has arm / leg buds it did wiggle them around for us - incredible

.

brenda wow thats so great im so glad your scan went well.its so great to know how many beanies you have im still waiting to find that out but it is such great news..

smmylou im so glad you got that moment to finally see your beanie way to go

i too have my frist scan this week and just dont want to wait any longer for that day to hurry up and get here..dh is really hoping for twins im just happy to be pg finally after so many years hope everyone else is having a great time being pg..

Walsh - good luck with that scan

It is the most incredible thing to see (although after everything I still can't believe that I get to take a baby home at the end of all this)

Just thought that i'd report in that I feel terrible - as if the total exhaustion and nausea wasn't bad enough, have woken up this morning with a terrible sore throat, runny nose and headache - could hardly get out of bed with the dizziness:( ! Have been checking out options for treatment on the web, but it seems best to avoid all medication ......and eat lots of fruit - I couldn't eat more fruit and veg than I have in the last copuple of months if I tried............

How can such a little one have such an impact???? Amazing!

Hi girls,

sorry I have been so negligent with the boards - have been so hectic with new job and feeling so sick and exhausted that have not had the energy to log on of an evening!

AMD, i am so sorry to hear about your little beanie and wish you lots of luck for your frosties.

Congrats to all of you who have had positive scans. I nearly cried when I had mine - which I am glad to report showed 1 little beanie with a lovely strong heartbeat.

I have had morning - or all day(!) sickness since 5.5 weeks - and Sammylou you poor thing, i can relate to you since I came down with a horrible cold the same week the ms started - which obviously made it worse! At 10 weeks now and starting to feel bit better nausea wise but still extremely tired. Have first OB appt. tomorrow and will have the nuchal scan in the next 2 weeks.

For those of you who already feel that they are showing - i am normally a size 8-10 and do not fit into most of my clothes - only the big size 10s (you know, the companies who cut their clothes half a size bigger) and I have put on 3kgs! Am going to be a fatty!

Someone please update the list for me.

Wishing lots of luck to all those waiting for their first scans!

smmylou so sorry to hear you are feeling so sick i hope you get to feeling better.thnk you for your well wishes i have one more day to go and just cant wait for that big day.tonight we will be going to a little dinner party with a few friends.i hope this gets my mind off of tommorw.

libby wow i hope you get to feeling better.i hope your ob appt. gose well for you today.i ws thinking at first that it would bother me to gain weight to but now im just so happy to finally getting where im pg.i have gone up 3 pant sizes so far i wont tell you what size i was before because then i wil have so many people hating me for that size...

well im just counting down the hours now and cant wait for tommorw.good luck to everyone who has not had their first scan yet.....im just going to have to really stay busy today hope this helps time go by faster..

went to our scan all looks good so far.was so awesome to see that wonder hb was at 150 my little one moved his or her little foot at the time that was so great.we have one and couldnt be happier at this moment.well good luck to everyone else who still has not had their frist scan..

I had my first scan yesterday and saw one beanie! Saw the heartbeat (though don't know how fast)! It is Amazing! Good luck to everyone!

So I am just bumping this to the top for the BFPers....this forum really helped me with the agonizing wait until the 1st scan.

Hello ladies!!
I have really been bad at not keeping up. Everyone seems to be doing fine. Hope everyone is feeling a bit better. As far as updating the list, I did have my scan the end of May and it is just one!! We are very happy with that. I have since also had my 1st OB appt. Heartbeat was at 176. Which was very good. Things are going well. I will be 12 weeks on Tuesday and am feeling just a bit more energetic so I'm hoping we're at the end of all these wonderful 1st trimester things. Feeling quite nauseaed lately but that is ending also. I hope for good!! I also have quite a bit of weight gain initially but has seemed to tail off now. Thank God!! I gained about 10 lbs awfully quickly. A bit scary!! But my appetite also seems to be tailing a bit. At first I couldn't eat enough. Good luck to everyone and stay healthy!!
