Hi Girls,

For those with BFN - I'm so sorry. I hope you are looking after yourselves and having some serious pampering. Keep the faith - it WILL be your turn one day.

For the rest of you - congratulations and may you enjoy every single second of what is to come.

Take care all

Well, had my first beta test today. The nurse told me they would not give me the results until they get the 2nd test on the 27th, but I cheated and was able to call ang get it. It was a 3. I am 13 days post egg retrieval/ovulation and 10 days post transfer. I'm assuming it's probably just the HCG shot going out of my system? Does anyone know of someone having that low of one where I am at with my cycle? I know of someone who had a beta of 8 on their first test and ended up pregnant, but I dont' know how many days post ovulation. I pretty much assume I'm not, but there is still a glimmer of hope until Saturday I guess.

Well, found out today it is a BFN. We are pretty bummed, and not sure what your next step will be. I know we want to try at least one more time with our eggs as this was our first time. The Dr we went through was pretty negative when looking at my eggs, but then we still ended up getting one good and one okay embryo. So, we may end up changing programs. I would think they would want to do another cycle before telling me I need donor eggs??? From reading stuff on another program, they want to see at least 2 bad cycles before telling you it's not worth it. I'm only 34 and can't believe my eggs are that bad, but I know it can happen. Just wished I knew why. Anyway's thanks for all your good thoughts and good luck to those still left on the May thread.

Dear All

Sorry to have to update our list for Kelly.

Just two May testers now left on our thread. Wendy & Kelly. Let's really hope for good news ladies.

So 6 :D , 11  with 2 to go. So far therefore we have a success rate of 35% which is better than a lot of the clinics but certainly shows how hard this journey is. (Sorry maths/accountancy is my thing so constantly looking at all the stats!). Will update on Wednesday when the month is complete. Best news was right at the start of the month for Prissy who has now had her 1st scan and is expecting twins! :D :D

Have done individual threads for Wendy and Kelly so think that my job as May monitor, which I picked up from Gail, is now nearly complete.

I am away for a few days with dh for my birthday so now will not be on-line until Wednesday which is after my BFN review appointment.

Thinking of Wendy and Kelly and hoping that we finish the thread in great fashion.

Love Carolyn xxx

Hi girls
Sorry it's taken me a week to post the results - but I am still in shock - I got a BFP last Monday. Am still parranoid that something will happen - but scan is booked for 19th so hopefully my mind will be put at ease than.

Congrats to all those with BFP's this month and huge hugs to the BFN - keep visualising and positive thinking.

Take care all

I would like to express my gratitude for the good work by CarolynB in this thread. It is interesting to see how we May buddies have done. Although I have got BFN, I would not be too frustrated as I see the statistics. I am also very happy for ladies who've got BFPs. They give me hope for my test try.
Thank you CarolynB!

Sasa

That is sweet of you to post and say thanks. Not at all. It gave me something useful to do during the 2ww and in the first couple of weeks after my negative when I had to do something to stop myself completely falling apart.

Think that June ladies are getting a much better % than we did so that gives me even more hope as well.

You & me are going to be lucky next time around.
