Hi girls, no such luck, little un is still tucked up in my belly, exactly 1 week overdue today. Had membrane sweep this morning, wasn't very nice, it's left me really sore and tender but hopefully it'll get things moving. It would be nice if she made an appearance today as it's my birthday and wedding anniversary.
Got another membrane sweep booked for Wednesday and if nothing still happens then i'll have to go to the maternity hospital and they will induce me on Thursday, so fingers crossed this little un WILL be here sometime this week.

The wedding on Friday was ok but i wasn't really in the mood for it, none of my nice dressy clothes fit me anymore and i wasn't spending money on an outfit when i was that overdue, went to put on a skirt that still fits but couldn't get my feet into any dressy shoes, had to wear a pair of comfy trousers and my clumpy trouser shoes, i just felt fat and under dressed compared to everyone else. Had some painfull braxtons in the registry office during the ceremony, was really gripping onto the chair in front, Michael's mam and sister must have noticed coz straight after the ceremony they came rushing over and kept checking up on me the rest of the night.
Was at the in-laws on saturday and just after we got home that night i became really ill with a stomach bug, a couple of hours later Michael came down with it aswell, so we were both laid up ill all day yesterday, so that's why i've been quiet that last few days.

Starting to get a few niggles now, so maybe this little un ain't too far away from finally coming out, but the way things have been going lately i reckon i'll have to be induced on Thursday.
Think i've rambled on enough now, i'll keep you all posted.
Take care,
Lotsa love

Just a quickie post to say i'm STILL here, felt awful after the membrane sweep yesterday, was really sore all day, felt back to normal when i got up this morning.
On a positive note, just had a massive show and now getting some niggly pains, hopefully it means things are finally progressing and i won't need another membrane sweep tomorrow or induced on Thursday.
I'll try and get back on when i can to update but not sure when, if nothing happens soon then it'll be tomorrow, if not then it'll be after this little un is finally home with us.
Take care all,
Lotsa love

Can't wait to hear all about the little one Michelle :) Just think...you must have kept her really comfy and cozy in that belly of yours for her to want to stay there!

Hi girls, i'm still here waiting. Went to midwife appointment this morning and dedided not to have another membrane sweep done, the last one left me feeling pretty awfull and i wanted my last day at home as a couple relatively pain free.
Today's midwife was the one i like, Jaquie, she was shocked to still see me with the bump and was joking at this rate she's gonna come out a teenager  She did give me some bad news though, tomorrow and Friday are her days off so she won't be with me during my labour  but she said she'd see me on Saturday and i better have baby with me then
I'm now 9 days overdue and can you believe it, this little un is STILL only 1/5th engaged, she is definately well comfy in here.
After yesterdays big show i've had a lot of little ones so at least that's a good sign.
Well, this will be my last post as a pregnant woman, have to be at the maternity hospital at 2pm tomorrow to be induced. Not sure when i'll be able to post next, possibly sometime next week and it'll be with news of my little un's birth.
Before i go, i would just like to thank everyone here for all the support i've been given since starting out on this very long, emotional journey over the last few years, right through to finally becoming a parent. Thank you all so much :D
Take care,
Lotsa love
