Going through IVF and I need to hear some of your amazing stories about first time BFP's with IVF/ICSI please! I love hearing about them and I need some encouragement from you amazing women!!!! Thank you

Yes it is possible!
We were lucky enough to get a BFP on our first IVF/ICSI, although we've been having various other treatments for 3.5 years, so it seemed like a long time to get there - not as long as some, I know, and I'm not complaining, honest. Had 15 eggs collected, 5 fertilised through ICSI, 2 transferred, one took, 3 frozen for future tries.

Hello, I am also a first timer. Was so nervous, but it worked.

well i am too a first timer and got bfp there was times when i just didnt want another shot..and times when night sweats where so bad i just could not stand it no longer but we kept on going and got blessed with our bfp.it is a hard road to take but now its so worth it all i had lots of support from dh,family and this group of wonderful ladies here..just keep your eye on the big bfp..good luck to you hang in there .

Hi Tanya! First timer at IVF for me and I'm 15 weeks pregnant with twins! I noticed you are from Michigan. So am I. I live in the Detroit metro area and went to IVF of Michigan. Good luck with your cycle!!!! It's a roller coaster ride. But I'm so thrilled that I did IVF. I wasn't going to do it and actually had started the adoption process. I'm so glad I did it, now I'm having two babies!

Kristi I am also going to IVF Michigan and I was wondering what doc you have? Did you have to go to the Rocher hills office for your procedures? I am so happy for you! I cant wait! I have my EC/transfer around the last week in june-did they wait 5 days or 3 for you?

I am from Novi.. I go to an RE in dearborn...
they are doing a 3 day transfer for me.. I am set up for ER tomorrow and transfer on Saturday..

I truly wish you all the best and to the laides that shared you do not know how much inspiration this gives to us first timers.. I hope to be able to come back and post someday and give someone else the inspriation you give to us..

This is my first time also, am currently on Lupron. Go in for unltrasound on Thursday, should start stims on Friday! Good luck and remember you are not the only one going through this--although sometimes it seems like that! Good luck!
