Not in awhile. She's been pretty quiet this last tri, I think she's had some fun stuff like feeling sick and hurting her neck. PM her and see if she's around.

I had my 28 week ultrasound. Both babies doing quite well, one is at 3 lbs and the other 2'14". Blood pressure and everything ok, and I received my first rogham shot. Nice dart right in the arse.

The mother wellness center called me today and tried to tell me they were rescheduling my tour until July! I asked why, because I called well in advance, and wanted to do my tour early in case we went into labour early. Well, they have several c-sections next week and wanted to bump me. Anyways, the lady was quite crusty and told me she'd call me back and just hung up. Nice.

I've asked my doc for a couple weeks of sick leave, I'm having a hard time walking the pickett lines now. Other than that all is well.

Hopefully all you overdue ladies are getting closer! You too, Danica, hopefully labour vibes have gone your way!

Hi girls

lovely to be here on the third tri thread and to catch up with you all!! I have been quiet as I have had really bad back problems (old war wound after back op in 2002), tolerable, but try not to aggrivate by sitting at PC and have been swimming a lot and physio yoga etc..Slowly much better, have now someone in to clean (bliss) as well as someone to walk the dogs, feel like lady muck!! (good thing with a remote village is that people will do anything for €5 an hour cash!!

Sweetie is really well, kicking like mad, and growing well, was 1.2 Kilo at 27 +5dayscan and 36 cm long (full body estimate based on leg bones I think). I haven't put on weight, just transferred evrything into my now large bump and boobs! so the good news is all the flab from years of hormone tmt and thyroid problems is gone, I look better than I did for years!

We have managed to source loads of stuff second hand, we found the pram we wanted and then dh got it on eBay "nearly new" for half the price!! Nice cos I can use the money from the grannies for other things, and save some for later.

Hard to believe we still have so long to go, I ams ure I wont be able to move by then, already shopping trips are a chore ...

hugs to all and love to danica - hoppe all goes well

love and kisses

Big (very big) J Ps will get a couple of photos on photobucket as soon as they are off my mobile and on the PC

Hi everyone,

Glad to hear you are all doing so well and feeling good.

Taylorjools - it's great to hear that you are gradually managing your back... the extra help must be fantastic. How exciting that your baby is growing fit and healthy and to start getting other things like your pram sorted!

Jen - glad to hear your girls are doing so well too... you must be quite big now, hope you are riding on a high and not feeling too tired!

Danica - hope your labour and delivery went really well - we're looking forward to hearing your news :D

Well it looks like we're going to have a chunky monkey... our baby was measuring 1.8kg at 29+2 week scan, which our doctor says is in the 95th+ centile. I was asking her if this was compared with Asian babies, which do tend to be smaller than Eurasian babies, but she said no, because she was using a Chart from Kings in the UK for us... Still it's great to know that the baby is growing really well. I've got a rediculously huge bump though. Even the maternity clothes borrowed from friends are starting to be challenged to make it over the bump! Haven't changed size apart from that however, so maternity stuff for larger sizes doesn't work either. Absolutely hate the large, frumpy, 'I'm-wearing-my-husband's-tshirts' look, but might have to go there eventually!

2 weeks until DH starts his summer holidays (from teaching) and then it's the big wait. We're feeling a bit stranded; due to the timing of our treatment and due date, we haven't been out of Singapore or back to Europe since last October. The thought of spending all summer here too is sending us mad. Unfortunately our due date is DH's first week back at work too. He'll get 2 days paternity leave but that's it. So, we're really hoping for a slightly early arrival. Knowing our luck, s/he'll be late!!

Take care everyone,
lol

Jules - good to hear from you and see that Sweetie is doing well. Take care of yourself and I hope that the back doesn't cause too many problems for you.

Good luck to you all - hopefully hear from you see Danica with some news.

Where are you guys? I feel very lonely here. I've been checking everyday, but no one is posting. I know some of you are getting close, and I'd love to keep track of how everyone is feeling.

I'm actually feeling really good. Not sick at all.

I'm just slowing down. It's tough to find a good position to sleep in because my hips hurt. I'm sure the babies are doing quite well because they are very active. They weighed 3 lbs almost a month ago, so I imagine they must be close to creeping up on 4 lbs each.

So I'm just focusing on getting through the next month or so, and getting the babies stuff ready. Very exciting. I have 7 more days of work left, so I'm almost there.

The shower was fabulous, we've been very spoiled. We have to buy a few things still, so we're ready for when these babies come, but the rest will wait. There are 3 more showers planned for after.

How's your little man, Joy? Is he tolerating the heat ok?
