2nd Child problems

Post by Juseke »

Can anybody out there help me, cheer me up. I so desperately want a 2nd child and keep trying and trying to no avail. My very first attempt of IVF was successfull and I have a very beautiful boy - age 4.5 soon to be 5 however since then no go. I am now on my fourth attempt and in my 2ww, half way thru, with pains etc. etc. Can anybody give me some up beat words and shed some light on whether you too have had pains etc.etc.

Thanks

hi there

JUSSY - I too am in my 2ww for my 2nd child, whats happening for you? whats your dates etc

my DD is 15mths and weve decided to try for another, but also accept how lucky we are to have one

she had to be strong with what shes been through - all IVF children must be strong to get thus far

ive been reading about people feeling guilty going through this again after being sucessful but i feel that there is no reason for this, it does feel different talking to people on their first attempt but its also good to share experience

hope

Hi

I'm on my 2WW this is my second attempt of IVF, this time im going through a FET. We were lucky the first time to get 25 eggs of which 15 fertilised, we used 2 the first time, but unfortunately didn't take. We have had 2 put back this time and luckily only had to defrost 3 to get 2 good embryos. So if this time fails also, we have 10 frozen left.

That I feel very lucky about, as i have read on here about people who don't get many if any at all.

I've been getting cramps but think it's mainly down to the constipation. So far I don't know if the signs are good or bad as they say, period pains as almost the same as pregnancy signs.

My test date is on June 1st.

I haven't any children yet but i live in hope that it will happen one day.

I will say you are both very lucky to already have one beautiful healthy child, but never feel guilty about wanting another one. I know that if i have the chance, i would like more than one.

Good luck to you both and wishing you BFP.

Sending you lots of baby dust

Rachel

2nd Child

I think we're all lucky if we've been successful with IVF. I bless each day, but that doesn't stop you wanting a second child, my little boy is desperate to share his toys with a sibling and has even suggested a name. Good luck to both of you I wish you all the best. I'll just have to put up with the pains for a few days longer, test date for me is the 2nd June, oh god how long away does that seem. I always cheat and do it a day or so early.

Good luck to all of you waiting.
