nausea patterns!

Post by Terri2 »

I just wondered what kind of symptoms everyone had in the first 3 months. I'm just over 9 weeks, had a scan at 7 weeks and all was fine.
My nausea has been all over the place. Mostly though I get it in the evening but then I could miss a day altogether. My biggest symptom has been exhaustion.

I feel worried today cos I haven't felt really sick for about 3 days. Is this normal? I always thought once you start to feel sick, it keeps going til about 12 weeks and most people I know have noticed a pattern with it but I don't seem to have one. I'm finding it easier to eat and generally feel a bit better but I don't want to!

I'm probably just worrying for nothing but you know what its like when you've waited so long to get here!

I just worry that something is wrong when I'm not sick!

any advice would be great!

Everyone is different.... I had nausea and vomitting all day long til I was 16 weeks. And everyday was different for times and amount of times. I wouldn't be too worried if its slowing down. Take it as a blessing!

Hi there

Denise is right, everyone is different. I was very luck y as I didn't suffer at all with nausia or sickness during my first three months. I was really really worried as I thought this wasn't normal, even more so when I discovered I was having twins!! I was (and sincerely appriciate) just one of the lucky ones.
I am sure your pregnancy is fine and enjoy your "days off" of the nausia.
Good luck

thanks both of you. I'm feeling a lot more hungry, coming into week 10, is that normal?!

Hi Terri

I am eating for England and have been since about week 6. I cannot go two hours without having to snack. If you find yourself feeling hungry, don't ignore it, as I did once and very nearly fainted. It's normal for your appetite to increase, but you are better off sticking to a healthy diet and snacking on "good" things. I am into fruit and Mini Babybell's at the mo.

Take care
