Hi Hayley,

I do remember you honey. I only fertilised 2 on the last one and they didn't cleave so it will be full treatment again in July. It's the short cycle which takes 14 days start to finish so not too bad.

How are you doing? Bet you're excited. It's great that you have so many embryos frozen. It will work for you.

How's the singing going. Hope I'm right here, you are a singer, aren't you?? Or have I lost the plot?

Hayley,

Never had any NHS goes unfortunately. They won't pay because I can have children naturally, it's because my husband had a vasectomy 10 years ago that we have to do IVF. Because the vasectomy was his choice and not a problem he had, they won't donate the funds. I don't blame them really. The funds really should be there for more genuine cases where the infertility was no ones fault..

I only ever get around 7-14 eggs which isn't much but not bad either for a short cycle.

My sister had a reading done about a month ago, she recorded it too and the reader told her that a lady very close to her is about to do either her 3rd or 4th go at fertility treatment this summer. My sister nearly died when she said that. She also claims that it will work and there will be twins 1 boy, 1 girl. Hope it is me she's talking about. She says she doesn't know anyone else doing it. Spooky....

I'd love to be starting IVF now but we have too many things booked up for the next few months and wouldn't be able to fit it in yet...it's me all over, impatient.

I would love to be a singer. I'm from Dublin and all our family are very musical in some way, singers, piano, guitars, saxophones, etc, etc. It's great when a party is on. I can sing in tune but not enough to be professional. I'm better at soul, always could sing most of the hits from the movie "The Committments". Quite a few of my family are the same. I love music like that. What kind do you sing?

hi macca8. what a bummer you cant get it done on the nhs.id hate to see your bank balance.anyway you wont need anymore goes after this one, if that fortune teller is right. ive just got a feeling it will be your time this go.

i sing a bit of everything really, my favourit is country music. but you dont get alot of work with country. i tend to stick with my caberet, which ranges from abba, 50's, 60's,70's, barbara striesand, motown. everything. i absolutly love it its the best job ever. i only work 4 nights a week and thats it. it does get a bit boring in the daytime. but if i had a day job i would only moan it is too much for me. what do you normally do for your 2ww? how long do you take off. my show includes alot of dancing and i dont want to bouncing up and down too much. i was gonna miss 3 weeks but if i feel ready go back, and less dancing. my mum is doing my head in. she wants me to stay off work for a month. she says if i go back to work, im risking what ive waited for, for years. i dont no what to do. anyway im blabbing again. stay in touch.

Hi All, I am Cindy. I would like to join July Thread. I did my first IVF early this year. I only got 4 eggs and 2 of them fertilized and … finally it was BFN. Dr said I had very poor response to drug, even though I am 32 now, but my biological age is like 39-40. I am worrying about I don’t have good eggs any more. Could anyone please give me some advice or suggestion? Does anyone have the same situation? Now I am waiting to stimulate in late June.

Thank you very much. This is such a nice, warm group and I hope we all will have good luck very soon!

Hayley,

I've just had a look in the photo bucket....How good looking are you!! No wonder your hubby looks so pleased on your wedding day. Well if you don't make beautiful babies, then no one can.

My best photos are not on digital. Need to find a nice one.

Hows your treatment coming along??

hello July buddies. How is everyone? I had my review meeting last Monday to discuss our 2nd go at IVF. We're so lucky that ours is being funded. They're incresing my drugs from 150 to 225 to hopefully get more eggs. We only had 5 eggs and 2 to put back. We'll probably have to freeze DH's sample as he works away abroad a month at a time. Hopefully this won't affect the results. We'll also be away on holiday to Cuba when we start so i'll have to take the first lot lo drugs with us. Will I be able to have a few drinks??????????? Anyway enough about me. Fingers crossed for BFP for us. Paula x Image

I am new to the boards. I've been reading them for about a month. After my tubal reversal 2 years ago, we are now doing ivf-icsi. My doctor said we would start stimming on July 1 if everything goes well. I guess that's when the injections begin??...I'm taking this step by step...We go in on June 21 for our in depth ivf intake. We have just got through with all the screening and I started by bcp last Sun. I'm pretty nervous about all this, but praying for the best! This is a great support board! Just wanted to join in! :D

Hi Bryanaustin and Paula,

Hope July starts us all off well and gives us the best BFP's... I'm hoping my AF's behave so that I can start July. They have been so irrational that god knows what will happen and when.

This is my last go too, not like I need the pressure or anything..but I will give it my best..

I gave up smoking over 2 years ago for this...drinking alcohol 1 year ago (didn't drink much anyway so no loss)..I eat very healthily and drink on average 3 litres of water a day as well as go to the gym. If this all doesn't work then I know it was definitely not meant to be for me.

Hope all our July buddies get great success..

Hi Ladies,

I would love to join your thread, I'm hopefully starting my next course of treatment when AF arrives which should be any day now.

Unfortunately i got a BFN today, but my Dr wants we to jump straight back on the boat and try again with this AF.

Do you think that's a good idea :?: :?:

I had my first full cycle of IVF in Nov 05 which sadly was BFN, but luckily we retrived 25 eggs of which 15 fertilised, we put back 2 and froze 13. This time we had to defrost 3 to get 2 healthy embryos so we still have 10 good embryos left.

I have a problem with my lining it doesn't grow properly so this time they want me to have estrogen shots in my bum instead of orally (not looking forward to that)
Hubby can't wait to do them

So all going well my transfer should be late July.

It would be great to have people to gothrough this with this time as last time i only rediscover this site after my transfer.

Baby Dust to you all

Rachel xx

Hi all. How's everybody? In Aberdeen, Scotland we're supposed to be having a mini heatwave!!! Image Can't quite believe it.
Rachel - great you've joined. That's great you've got loads of frosties. We had none. When my AF comes in June I'll start treatment on day 21 coz we're going to Cuba. We had to wait until I had 3 Af's before we could start our next treatment.
Lisa - I'm very impressed with your healthy lifestyle. I've never smoked, I drink socially, am a member of a gym but somehow always forget to go!!! My RE advised me to loose 10lbs before our next treatment. Problem is I did really well on a low-carb vegetarian diet but in the last month I've slipped and back to eating the usual rubbish. Needless to say the weight is piling on.
Bryanaustin - great you've joined.
Fingers crossed for us all.

Hi all,

I also will be going in July. Actually I should get AF tomorrow and start BCP for 2 weeks and then stim so it looks like ER around the 3rd or 4th of July!!

Rachel, if you just finished a FET then you can go right into another FET because you dont have to wait for your ovaries to settle down like a fresh cycle. WOW, you are so lucky to have so many frozen embies. Good luck to you!! :D

Lisa, Good luck to you!! You are sure on the right track with all your healthy practices!!

Mortsha, Have a great time in Cuba and good luck on your cycle. When do you get AF? You and I might be cycling pretty close. Good luck to you!!

JackieG,

I have posted to you in BFN, but will post in here from now on, don't really want to keep bringing that thread up... :(

Moritsha

Thanks for the nice welcoming, I feel very lucky to have frosties left, sometimes i feel a bit guilty that i have, when so many people haven't i know i shouldn't, but i can't help it.
I am over weight but for some reason the Dr's in America don't worry about it, infact compared to most i feel positivicallly skinny, and they manage to get pregnant, so weight isn't a big factor to worry so much about especially 10lbs. Have a wonder time in Cuba.

I am living in Ohio USA for a few years, because of DH job. We have a house back in St Neots Cambridgeshire, that we are renting out. We are due to come back Jan 08, But hoping to move back down south where we grew up in Gloucestershire.
Infact we are due to come home to England for 2 weeks on June 27th. We were hoping to keep it all the IVF tratment quiet from our families but as i will have to do my lupron jabs while i'm over there, we have to tell them. Luckily i will still be able to post as i'm taking my laptop with me.

You all have a good day and weekend
Rachel
