I got a BFP on the 31st May and we were over the moon. I had all the usual symptoms of sore breasts, ligament/stretching pains, bit more discharge, tiredness, and boy was I sick for a few days and now everything I have felt has dissappeared. I had a OHSS mildly and was very bloated but that all seems to have settled dwon very quickly. I feel completely 100% normal and don't feel pg at all... WHY?
My scan isn't until the 14th and I'm going out of my mind with worry. I have a bad feeling about it all now which can't be helping matters.
maybe its a bit early to start having pregnancy sytems. your only 4 weeks. so im thinking it could be you ohss setteling down. i had ohss i had all the symtems your describing i had. sore boobes, feeling tired, you have been through alot the past few months. you body might think aaahhhhhhhh i can just relax now. you'll be fine. stop worrying. you dont want to be doing that. youll be ok.
hayley is right, we forget all the artificial drugs give us a whole host of symptoms that a naturaly conceived embie wouldnt be doing yet, we worry when we have pains and other signs then worry more when we dont, your normal and i think (not got that far yet)doing just what everyone else with a positive test does i think you will feel better about it after your scan maybe your embie is using its time to grow it will mess with your head a lot over the next 9/10 months
i remeber my cousin would get AF pains every month right on the time of her normal AF she'd come to me oh no i think somethings wrong with the baby im going to get my period for the whole 10 months i told her it was just her body thnking "hey this is what i have been dong for 33 years so im going to ignore the invader and carry on as normal"
this really is an ongoing worry fest, what was your beta test levels?.... so happy for you im sure everythings as it should be and your little ones snuggleing in very happy now

I'd reinforce that really the early "symptoms of pregnancy" are probably usualy just signs that the drugs are working. When i was actually pregnant 4 years ago, I can remember feeling less pregnant when i did the test at 3 days after my period was due, than i usually do 3 days before my period, as swollen breasts and bloatedness are all part of my usual cycle. The proper sore breasts thing only kicked in a few weeks later, (and is unlike any other kind of sore breasts thing you will have experienced before!)
The other thing i would like to add is you may as well get used to worrying about your baby now - you're going to be doing it for the rest of your life!

I got a bfp on May 8th and on May 10th my preg symptoms decreased dramatically. I too was worried that something was wrong until 2 weeks later when all-day sickness started for me. We also saw the heartbeat a week after that, on May 31st. I NOW know that everything WAS FINE. I agree, it's probably just your body getting rid of meds and a combination of that and stress. Don't worry...I'm sure things are fine!
