Thought I better type something about myself.
My first attempt at IVF was in August 2003. I was so upset when it didn't work - that's why it has taken me just under three years to decided to go for it again. I am going to contact the clinic on Monday to arrange to see the Consultant. Part of me is really worried because I don't know if I can go through that pain again, if it doesn't work. The other part of me wants to give it another shot. My boyfriend is really worried because he doesn't want to see me hurt again. Sorry, was only going to type a few lines. Please reply.

Welcome to the board. I am just about to start my 1st attempt of ivf so i know how nervous you must be feeling. Sorry to hear you got a negative result on your 1st try. Keep positive though hun you have to as all us girls have is hope. When do o see yourself starting treatment again. Are you using the same clinic?

im sure you will find many many people on here to help you through this time we are pretty much all in the same boat and i have found it a great source of comfort its a great place to ask those awkward questions you cant ask anyone else ... hopefully we will see a lot more of you

Thank you both for making me feel welcome.
Have got to phone up the clinic tomorrow and see what they have to say but I would like to start the 2nd attempt in August. I just feel so nervous. They always say "don't get your hopes up" but everything was going so well on the 1st attempt and I know I am going to be the same this time round.
It is the same clinic as last time. They were so friendly and helpful.
This site is really good. It is nice to know that I have other people that I can chat to that are going through the same experiences.
