June collection transfere anyone else?

Hiya all

Well still feeling a little crap, and belly still bloated but it could be worse as i have just phoned work (as the doctor has signed me off for 2 weeks) and a girl that was pregnant at work has just lost her baby.

I had a blood test this morning and they have just rang me with the results and they said that my levels have drastically fallen which is good news, I am now waiting for an appointment with the doctor as they are making me an emergency appointment to see her so that we can get some questions answered!!

The nurses we really nice this morning, and they said that it was rare for a cycle to be cancelled!!

Emma i really do hope you get the information at least to stop this happening again...i hope you feel better soon hugs.....so sorry for your friend to loose her baby say a prayer for her too...

Caz five follies is really good like you say we just need that special one that wants to come join us.... i pray they will continue to thrive and all be really good ones for you. good luck for friday cant wait to hear

Vita, wtg on the retrieval 6 follies is a sound number to get sending prayers they all do really well, when will you find out how many fertilized?

As for me im back from my first scan...was so pleased my cyst hasnt changed so im liking that and i had 10 small follies all about the same size i was told they are a good size and im responding well, 10 for me is fab at this stage last time i only had 4 so i just have to wait for the phone call now see what my DR says, i have the worst AF pain so im going to lay down...did any of you get pains while stimming? i didnt get this last time its worrying but worth every moment id stand on my head for 9 months if i get my little one i know you all feel the same

well for me i am still waiting to see how many have fertilized the doctors office has not rang me yet and i hope thats not a bad thing. maybe i should try calling them

Thank you... my Dr called me im good to continue so my #'s must have been ok i have to go back thursday..... more excited now less nervous

i hope your DR has called you by now mine dont call till afternoon i have my fingers crossed all yoru littles ones are on there way...hope to read you soon...very excited for you i know this is a tough time

I was wondering if I can join you ladies I started Lupron 4 Days ago and starting Gonal F in a few more days. I am looking @ retreival being June 23rd-ish. This is my 2nd attempt with IVF.

how you going on the lupron? what amount of Gonal F will you be on?...im on 450 right now doing great so far...i took Follistim last time i didnt have as many feelings with that as i am now and i have to say i know this sounds odd but i love that i can feel my ovarys its so reassuring...

as for me well im feeling it more and more and i love every moment of it im getting lots of pains so ive taken to going for a good long walk seems to help raining today but being a brit i dont mind the rain, look forward to reading you all soon

Hello Ladies,


Welcome Jess!


Just wanted to let you guys know that i had 6 follicles at ER and today they phoned me to let me know that only 5 were mature enough to get fertilized so its 5 embies for me this cycle.

Its really strange because last time around i had soooo much more almost triple in number.

well aunty looks like the gonal f has officially kicked in for you the pains have begun. wishing and praying that everything will grow to perfect measure.

I am still bloated and somewhat in pain since the retrieval its really strange.


Emma~ how are things going with the levels? I hope everything is right on track.


Jess~~ good luck with your stimulation i hope you dont get too much cramping and bloating. a little helps us think the meds are working

Vita thats great, 5 embies is a really decent # it's quality this time your little ones in that bunch, did they tell you what day transfere they will do?
i have read so much on here about women getting more BFP's from less eggs so i think it's off to a great start for you really praying for you and yours...how many will you transfere?

Hi everyone!

Hoping to join you girls. My er is 6/25 and this is my first time trying IVF. I've learned so much by just reading everyone's posts. The encouragement and support is awesome.

I have one question about Lupron....does it make anyone else moody? I'm crying at every little thing. I will be taking Bravelle and Menopur on 6/12....should I be looking for the moodiness to continue?

Thanks for any insights.

Hi Kitty, and wishing you a very warm welcome to the thread...i hope we can help support you through this...

as for the crying....did you see the end of ghost whisperer well it was sad but me i had a breakdown and found my self crying over stupid things that normally i would have just thought how sad ...so yeah i think to be over emotional is perfectly normal and perfectly ok too for us, this is a hard time we need some outlet for it if crying helps then do it.

as for the bravelle and menopur im not sure on those hopefully one of the other ladys will have some experience with it...i am taking Gonal F and maybe a ray of hope i felt much better mood wise once i started taking it fingers crossed you will too...if not come here have a good cry with us we will be waiting with open arms...
