Lynne, glad to see the cyst drain went Ok. So sorry to see your tmt has been delayed. What a pain....I know it's difficult and very disappointing but hang in there. Keep positive. Good things come to those who wait! Please try not to be too hard on DH! I think everyone here has had times when all we seem to do is argue with our other halves. In my experience blokes see the whole process sooooo differently to us. My dp is very supportive but after all we have been through he is now of the opinion that he won't get excited until I am actually pregnant! Never mind all the counting of the days, the meds (and side effects) and the constant knicker checking! Every now and then he will ask what's happening or what's next? It doesn't mean that he doesn't care about what's going on. It's his way of coping. I think many dp's are similar which is probably why this site is so popular! Hope you manage to have some quality time together. Have you tried some reflexology/acupuncture for relaxing and rebalancing the body? Take care of yourself x

Hello everyone. I have been away camping and it was SO cold!!!! We have now returned and the sun is blazing - fairly typical!!! It has been so good reading up on everyone's news. Things seem to have fast-tracked over the last week. Please update yourselves on the list below!

I am so impressed with my new acupuncturist. My first from 6 years ago who helped me conceive with my first child moved to America. The new lady I tried last year wasn't so good. But Siobhan is excellent. I have been waiting for my AF and started spotting on Thursday morning - I always, always spot for at LEAST 3 days. However, I saw Siobhan on Thurs afternoon and she did some tmt to get it going and assured me that AF was imminent - it arrived within a few hours of leaving her. I am quite surprised!!! I'm pretty certain that the acu bought on the AF. Also, she is currently treating other women from my IVF clinic and knows all about IVF and all the drugs and tmt's so I feel that I am in competent hands. If anything, it is so good to chat to someone who understands the stresses and strains, and then makes you feel better when you walk out the door. And you don't actually feel the needles! They are as fine as a hair! My mental well-being is much improved.

Flowers were unexpectedly delivered to my door this morning - they were from DH's boss to apologise for DH having to go into work for the afternoon during our holidays - how sweet!

Just had to put suncream on my cat's (Alfie) ears and nose (he has white fur and can get burnt easily).

Hi girls,
Thanks for all your messages and kind thoughts - I still getting over the shock of a BFP - I know it's still early days and every slight twinge starts me worrying.

The scan is booked for Monday 19 June (only 2 weeks to go) - once I've had that maybe I'll be a bit calmer - but then I'll have to go back with the NHS and am not really looking forward to that.

I know I'm about to appear really thick, but do I count 36 weeks from the blood test like yo would normally or does IVF change things? and should I get the odd twinge etc?

Wishing you all loads of luck with the various stages of treatment & pregnancy you are at - try to relax (I know it's easier said than done).

Hi Sophie, good to see you post! Camping eh? Only in good weather ! How is your cycle going? All according to plan? Never got into acupuncture myself, I'm a reflexology girl. My AF arrived on time, with no extra jigging! Can't quite believe it but there you go. Am now busy sticking oestrogen patches on my bum to prepare my lining. Off for a scan on 12th June to see if all Ok. If it is then back to BArcelona for ET. Dh 's sperm is frozen over there just waiting for me to return!

Lynne, how are you? Stimming away. Grow follies grow. When is your scan?

Hello Anna,

So your scan is the 12th, are you getting excted now? Could you please change my scan date to the 3rd July, thanks, i got the date wrong. How are you doing? Do you know yet when ET is likely? How long will you be in barcelona for when you next go over?

I am doing ok, really finding the time between scan extremely difficult, find it hard to relax but other than that im ok. Because i am overweight i cant actually see a bump as my belly is normally one large bump!!!!

but i have had to buy the next size up clothes, can't get maternity stuff as the largest size they do is a 20, although i have bought the odd vest top.

How is everyone (cla, Lynne, souris, sophie, Eminde, Stacey, Christine, Lisa) doing?

Kelly - I am always having twinges and worry myself sick, so far all as been well though, so it's all part of things changing, good luck over the next 9 months.
