Hope u r all well.
Was wondering if anyone could help me please.
I'm having my second IVF in a couple of months. DH had a sperm count done last week and it was a bit on the low side, I remember chatting to someone online last year and they mentioned about some sort of Vitamin's for men to improve their little swimmer's, has anyone else heard about this and know what they're called or have any other suggestions for us please, as I need this to work as this is my last chance, out of cash now.
My DH has same issue and he's been on DHA (which is a fish oil) as Zita West says this will improve the quality of the sperm, and Wellman vitamins, which include zinc and selenium both absolute essentials for healthy sperm!
Hope this helps and good luck!

my husband is going to have 3 months of wellman vitamins (I bought them through the net), some people recommend proxeed vits, but they were really expansive.
And in general, cut down alcohol, drink plenty of water, and from what i have read, cut down caffeine, but Debz says the contrary , so better double check for that!
wishing you luck

that is really interesting!! My Dh, was not so happy to have to cut down caffeine, so it will be a relief. Also they say in the article that smoking does not seems to influence the sperm, I am not gonna tell Dh that, as he is trying to make some efforts to stop, and in any case, it cant be bad for him! But it is definitively a relief for me , as I wont have to nag him about it know!
Thanks for that!

hey there,
i know exactly what you mean, i had to give up my odd glass of wine, my over 20 year smoking habbit and my beloved coffee ... hubby has to vist the mans room once and hes not happy...LOL
my hubby still smokes and gets force fed coffee not that thats hard to do...but im sure we can find something to nag about if we try really hard that is ... i didnt think it could be too bad as last time he did all his usual stuff and with his low count and lazy swimmers he still fertilized 5 out of 7 and the two that didnt wernt mature enough...
i have also read you shouldnt drink tea.... i disagree with this strongly and i have a huge family to prove its ok just not sweetend....
souris wishing you lots of luck best wishes Debz
