hi sita,
Aw dear! soo sorry to know that u had OHSS. I know how you would feel not being able to transfer after waiting for so long but like u have said this is the best option. I m glad that u have recovered soon. Please take care of u dear.

When will u be able to transfer the embies? You got good number of embies, thank god!

My EC is scheduled tomorrow (Wed) morning. My tummy is very big and painful. cant even walk like before. I m also worried is it OHSS. Will keep u and tina posted everything goes.

Tina,
Think u r too busy with work, take care and keep us posted.

Hi Chel,

Great to hear that you had many eggs !! Please remember to relax and take care of your self. I will be praying for you. Try not to think of OHSS. If you start vomitting however you need to contact the hospital immediately. Try and drink atleast 2 1/2 litres of water a day. This will help to reduce the risks involved. I hope everything goes as planned.

When r u having the ET Chel ?

Welcome Anamika !! Nice to see you have joing us. Are you doing IVF ? I hope all goes according to plan. Love to hear more about you.

Tina, Hope the job and studies are going well. When are you starting your cycle ? Hope you are keeping well.

Love,
Sita

Hi Chel and Sita,
Thanks for welcome note. Hope you are doing good. I am from Bangalore, settled in US (Washington Dc area). I am happy to say that I am in 15 week pregnancy ( 3rd ICSI cycle and first two resulted in very few embies and not much luck)....So far no issues during pregnancy and waiting for 16th week tests.

I see that you guys have been very supportive. Please take care, eat well and rest well :-)

Hi Girls,

Hope you are all doing fine.

I am doing OK. I was having some discomfort a few days ago as I am still having OHSS but will be going to see the doctor again next Friday. My work has been so supportive and asked me to take things easy. They know that I am not well but do not know the details though. My boss is very good.

Guess what, the girl in my team who was creating a lot of problems has been moved to another department now so I guess I will not have this stress to think about now. Thank God !!

Anamika !! Congratulations on your great news :D . This is such an inspiration to all of us. It goes to show that we must never give up. Please take care of yourself and take it easy. By the way, I love Bangalore. I was born in Sri Lanka but lived in India for 4 years. I enjoyed the time I spent there.

Chel, How are you my dear ? I hope your are taking plenty of rest and drinking loads of water. I hope everything goes as planned for you.

Shez, I am glad to hear that you were able to get to the targeted weight and now ready for the treatment. I wish you all the best. I am sure things will work out for you. You need be strong and positive !!

Tina, I hope you are OK ? I am sure you are very busy. Please let us know how you are doing when you can. Have you started your cycle ?

Shall close now as I have to go to my in-laws house for dinner.

Until next time... take care..

Love,
Sita

Hi You

Post by imelda »

Hi ...

I am Imelda. From Indonesia. I thought dealing fertility with family only happened in my country. :D But I also has a best friend from India. From her story i found the family relation in India as strong as in here. I also suffer for fertility from husband side and I will start my 1st IVF on July at Singapore.
I think IVF very frustrating but family more than that. So that I kept my mouth close and ask them not to discuss. My MIL also very annoying. I tried to avoid he all the time, not because I am being impolite, because i want this program success. I do not need hear any opinion unless my doctor. I also pray leaving everything to God.
Wish you all the best

Hello

Post by angelbaby »

Hello Everyone,

I am also origically from India, (Bombay) and am living in the US, CA. Have been married for over 8 years and TTC for the past 3 years. Our 1st IVF, had to be cancelled since I overstimulated right before ER. The next cycle I did fine with the stimming drugs, but the cycle failed. Now I just did ET on the 7th. My test date is on the 21st. Yesterday I noticed very very light - bright blood spotting and am devastated thinking it is over. I am trying to stay as positive as I can, but it is very hard. Have taken time off from work for the 2 ww, but it is driving me insane. Every little pain drives me insane.

Hi girls!
Itss been such a long time since i was in touch.Ya i was real busy with school and work.I didn't get any time to think about ivf or injections or hormones which was great! My exams got over last week,so I am so happy! But i just have 1 week vacation!

So nice to hear from all you girls.Sita sorry to hear about your ohss.Good your feeling better now.Take good care.I know waiting for the transfer is again bugging, but time will pass by soon.Maybe you'll be my buddy for the Fet.When can you have yours done? Are you back to work already?I have the same problem as you at work, one very mean girl who works just next to me! She's always waiting for me to do something wrong,to point it out to me.Her presence makes me feel so uncomfortable!Any suggestions to deal with her?Good your mom was there to take care of you.Chel Has you mom come down to?Great number on those eggs! The odds are in your favour !How was your et?How many little embies did you trasnfer ?Keep us posted on everything.I'll be praying that all goes great.Shez let me know how you lost the weight.I want to also loose some weight before my next cycle.I was so stressed with my work and exams that i just turned to food to comfort me and the result is showing now. I feel low also with this weight gain and am just so irritable all the time with dh.(though he is very patient)I am like a very cranky old lady! Maybe i am starting menopause! The lab at my hospital is closed in June so can only do the cycle in July depending on when my period comes. The waiting never ends. Take care girls,So great to meet up with you.Anamika, angel baby and imelda how are you guys doing?Angelbaby where in ca are you?I am in Fremont ca.Don't give up yet.Your test date is still days aways.I knwo the 2ww is meant to drive women crazy!Just take a day at a time(like that helps!).Anyway Wishing the best for you.Love Tina

Hi girls

I just wanted to say hi, i am asian too, Pakistani but born in the UK and lived here all my life. I haven't started IVF yet but should be having consultations with two clinics soon and may go to San Diego for treatment, a friend who lives there has offered to donate her eggs to me. I have premature menopause so can't conceive without donor eggs.

No all of my husbands family know about our situation as we decided to keep it to ourselves but they know we have been trying for children for a while. My parents know everything and are really supportive so i am lucky. No sure about DH's mums feelings, she is old fashioned and seems to think she has a faulty daughter in law!

We have been married for 1 year and both of us really want children!

I wish you all loads of luck with your treatments.
