Kate thanks for the AF jig it finally worked I was on Day 42 ! Only a month to go for you before the 6 week break, what a wonderful thought. Just over 2 weeks until your consultation then one step closer to that BFP.

Holly glad the lap went ok. Morphine is fantastic stuff it really hit’s the spot doesn’t it .

Lisa that’s fantastic news that your clinic have now received the donor sperm.. I am so pleased that you finally have some good news. Not long until you DIUI bet your counting the days. Hope your girlie night was a good laugh.

As for me as AF has finally arrived I can start my natural FET. I started taking Clomid yesterday and start doing ovulation tests next Sunday. I am just trying to take this one step at a time.

Just checkin in to say nurse discusson went well. Have chosen our donor and all set to go for bloods from day 11 once AF arrives next week. Once LH surge shows in for Donor iui That will then be me cycling EVERY month until I get a BFP so I'll prob never be off the bords soon. I'm going to try and get super duper fit and healthy over the next 3 weeks, tee hee.... !

I am having bloods to monitor oestrogen levels and lutinising hormone levels. They are using my bloods to determine LH surge instead of scans. How often did you have your scans?? I have to have bloods from day 11 on a daily basis. Then I have to give a urine sample within a week of iui to determine if I have definitely ovulated that cycle. Did you have that??

I am back home tonight...it was some 4 hr drive home, very wild wet and windy What ever happened to last weeks sun? I am off to do a mega load of washing but just popped in to say...my heart has survived Adam and i have been healing our BFN wounds My heart only breaks when i spot a newborn with mummy/daddy...oh the family unit...
anyway ce cera cera, we have hope and Faith our time will come.

I had a brill birthday and enjoyed he sun while it lasted...and we have spotted a fab renovated barn which we both love and would love to buy ...but will need to sell our house until we can make a move on it. ( scottish sysytem is very bound by solisitors and agreements on house moving..no such thing as a chain up here...if you put in an offer and it's accepted then you are legally bound to follow through with purchase even if your house aint sold.) so we are working on finishing off this house asap. Adam is home this weekend so we will be busy bee's. will catch ya all later on thurs

I am back......! Decided to go my mums a week earlier, I thought I'd have two weeks with my mum and step dad rather than one. I got back yesterday, wish I still there though. I have missed chatting to you all but I needed a break from everything, I wanted to go away and try not think about babies, IVF etc etc..... It was soooo peaceful at mums, weather was lovely, but hey back to it all now eh..?????


So then lots to catch up......

Nicki - Oh my god, can't believe there is no sperm for you, this bloody journey is hard enough without other obstacles getting put in our way. Has your DH decided on the op yet.? Try not worry hun, you will get a donor soon enough.! Hope you are feeling a bit better.?

Lisa - Wow, everything is all go for you, that is brill news about the 10 samples. Glad appt went OK on 19th and you’re all set to go with donor. I wish you all the luck in the world hun.

Jeni - Hope you are feeling better sweetie? You are a very positive person. Glad you had a nice birthday, the barn sounds nice, that is what my mum and step dad have done in France, they bought a gorgeous house with loads of aches of land a barn that needed doing up so what they are doing is making it into jeetes (spelling?????) when ready they will let them as holiday homes. As for me I haven't made an appointment with CARE, I got a follow up appt through for my clinic for 18th July (??) I am going to go to that, ask a few questions I have then if I'm happy I think I'll go with them again, if not I will be making an appt with CARE. Still wanting to go ahead in Oct. Right better go, got lots of washing to do. Back at work tomorrow.

hi all!!!

have a feelin this wil take me some time.....talkin in txt as only 1 finga.......i had a fall on hol n broke my collar bone!! had 4 stitches in eye. went arse over, head first onto gravel. and yes it did hurt. LOTS. and no I wasnt drunk. ok ish now and black eye nearly gone. such a dope . place we went to was gorge n will go again for propa hol when i learn to walk propa lol.

As for me i am obv off sick.....firm officially closes fri n start new job monday. v sad n atmosfere been awful. glad off. they hav asked us 2 sign letter resigning.............no redundancy or continual service...not right!!! lookin into it. if co goes under n no money don't gov pay redundancy???

Had my CMV test, y'day waiting for results now, but very doubtful we will IUI this month, we are just waiting,best case it would be 6 months, but also need to look in to importing from the Usa. Could be sooner, depending on the HFEA.....

Dh and I have had a chat also about getting the ball rolling with Adoption, so doors aren't completely closed yet but not feeling all the good really, had agood cry today, but hey it's not over yet and I will fight til the end.

My knee is better, bit of a mystery what happened but hey its better now!!!

Lisa, they did scans on day 10, 12, 14 until they got follie sizes to 18-22mm and then I did LH urine test til i got 2 blues lines and then went in on that day for one insemination and the day after for 2nd lot of sperms!!!

Then the 2ww begun!!! Bloods sounds like an easier way, but theya re all different, as long as u ovulate u'll be cool xxxx

Lis how is your health kick going before the IUI starts? Only 7 days until your 1st blood test, bet you are getting excited now. How was your hen weekend in Dunoon?

Jen I know that feeling so well when you see a newborn baby, it tugs so much at the heart strings and my green eyed monster rears its ugly head, I always want to scream its not fair it should be me. All this fertility lark is so hard on the emotions you are doing so well. Converting a barn sounds a fantastic idea, I am addicted to all the house programmes on telly, perhaps you be in the next series of Grand designs!

Lucy great to see you back on here, glad you had a great time at your Mums. Hope everything is ok with you. Have you got a long list of questions for your follow up appointment?

Julie oh my God I cant believe what you have done. How are you feeling now? What can the Drs do for a broken collar bone? Hope you are being given lots of TLC, sending you a big hug ((((())))) That doesn’t seem right about no redundancy from your old firm, hope you manage to get something sorted out.

Nicki have you had your test results back yet? I still cant believe whats happening to you with your DIUI, you must want to scream and shout at some one. Sending tons of PMA your way.

Hi to everyone else

I have had to have a couple of scans this week before ET, on the 1st scan they found a large cyst and they thought this cycle would have to be abandoned, however the next day when they scanned me again the cyst had virtually gone, the nurse said it was like scanning a different women it had changed so much. So I am now all set for ET on Tuesday providing my one frozen embie thaws ok. I am crossing everything that it is a little fighter.
