Hello all

hope you are well and welcome to our new 2wws!

Shelley I had a weak positive line on my test but the line seems to be getting strongerso fingers crossed! They told me to take 3 more of the much loved progesterone each night and then to retest today (well I did yesterday and today and it is still there). Fingers really tightly crossed for you.

Son my darling, sorry to read about AF visiting but glad it means things are getting on track soon! That is wonderful and thinking of you.

Aunty- really excited to read that your embies are now settling in their new home! Sending them tons of baby dust and as Jackao says- try and talk to them a bit!!!!

Angie- I also overstimulated and it has been pretty tough but i just kept on drinking and drinking and my tummy also looks massive!!!

Babysteps thinking of you.... keep us up to date on the new cycle!

Vita so sad about the HPT. Glad your dh got rid of them. It is way too soon... just hold out now! Sending you BFPs your way!

Jackao- sorry the bloods gave you a bit of a scare! They dont even take my bloods, they have just booked me in for a scan on the 29th! But they sound OK to me and your BFP still seems pretty big and fat from over here!!!! Fingers crossed to your little 'un!

Chel- hope the cramps and everything are calming down! Mine are still there and I still feel like AF is coming all the time so dont read too much into it!

Lbebe, kareen, em and dory and co hope you are all doing well. I have done a little update for us (and added you to us dear rachel, hope that is ok!)

Hayley incredible news with your bfp- as mine was a faint line my clinic said probably not twins! I think this means you have about 10 growing in there! How exciting!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE LADIES WHO HAVE MADE IT THIS TIME, AND BIG BIG HUGSS TO THOSE WHO DID NOT, HANG IN THERE, SOON WILL BE OUR TURN!!!

kristen,

BIG CONGRATS ON THE BFP :P I still hav the mild cramp in my lower back and legs on and off. Besides that i do feel sick and tired at least once a day for abt 30 min or so. Once i lie down i'll feel better. Other than these i m fine. I try not to read too much into the symtoms as the nurse told me it could be due to the medications but still you know.....

aunty,
congrat on the successful transfer, loads of good luck to u. Now rest well and be happy :D

Hi guys,

I just did a head count and of the 14 people tested so far 9 have been BFP's! That is a success rate of 64%! Even out of the 20 people on the list we have a good chance of keeping our rate up. Well done everyone, you have given me a huge amount of hope!

I'm feeling ok. I managed to drop a wooden blind on my face yesterday while doing DIY at home and cut my nose right across the bridge. DH had to take me to hospital to get it stiched and I refused an xray to see if I'd broken it based on the fact I could be pregnant. God I loved saying that to the nurse! Very sore nose though, but its taken my mind off the 2ww. Just not looking forward to work tomorrow and having all my patients look at me. I haven't decided whether to tell people I had a nose job or that DH beat me up! Please note that I have the world's smallest skijump nose as it is!

Good luck to those testing in tomorrow, PMA and Baby dust by the bucket-loads!

Hi I'm back - sent hubby to the supermarket - at least I get out of the household chores. Felt great on Sat, could get the jeans back on and felt the best I've felt since the Gonal F kicked in but today not so good and have been resting alot. Stomach back the size of a beach ball.

Thanks so much for all your concern guys. I am drinking lots of water and I have to call the clinic daily to give them an update so hopefully I'm in safe hands and don't end up in hospital.

It's great to see my name on the list now. Exciting but it's funny as coz' I feel so yuk I'm not even thinking about the 2ww.

Sorry my email is a bit low - I'm usually lots more upbeat than this. GOod luck to everyone.

Aunty
You are so bad.. DH is going to catch you :D :D :D I think you have the makings of a basketball, hockey,or baseball team... That is wonderful news... I am so excited for you and DH and I think this will be your time..

Em
Your poor nose.. I say you tell anyone you ask's something completly out there like " I was sky diving and on a tadem jump and DH and I bumped noses"
I know the feeling though about being able to tell nurse's DH and I are not telling anyone (with the exception of family) and I have been so excited to even talk to the nurses at the doc's office because obviously they know..

Angie
Try to rest dear and drink lots of water..

Chel I know its hard not to read into the symptoms but just do your best to stay as positive as possible.. we will send you all the PMA we can

Shelley Hill
I am not had specific experience with that but I will be praying for you and sending you all the sticky baby dust I can

Kelly,
my rock you are there for me when I am loopy and you make me all better Hello :D :D

to all the other laides.. Kareen where are you?

For me friday was a little scarry.. I did not post because I have been so overly dramatic latley with numbers etc I did not want to be a hypracondriach (I am sure I spelled that wrong) anyway I have had cramps since the transfer even sometimes the pinches but they go away.. Well starting wednesday they seemed lower and more constant. Friday afternoon I could not walk I was in so much pain. I felt doubled over. I called the doc and they were trying to ask questions to find out if poss OHSS or poss etopic (at least i think that is what they were trying to figure out) well they told me to go home and take extra strength tyelnol and call if any changes.. It lasted for a good 3 hours and than the throbbing stopped.. It than was just like I was punched in the lower belly.. I rested all night Friday and Saturday and it has gotten much better. I have an appointment today to get my blood drawn (which I am sure will be fine.. power of postive thinking) and I will see the doc today too.I am hoping she can put my mind at ease.. I never knew OHSS could pop up so late but man let me tell you I felt like someone was stabbing me every 2 mins.....From now on I will be drinking as much water as I can. I think I got a littlle lazy....
I will post later love and hugs to all of you

My day was kinda dull today, had no pain and the swelling had gown down. I feel perfectly normal. Is this good or bad girls? I have been having severe mood swings (scolded DH and mom for no apparent reason) like i used to hav a few days before AF shows. I m going crazy thinking its all over. Today is D10 post fertilization (D9 post ET), when can i do HPT? Hope i m not bringing the spirit down for other girls :(

Jackoa,
I m glad that u are feeling much better now, lovely of you to share your exp here, i hav almost stopped drinking water for the past two days as the swelling is going down, think must keep drinking  thank u very much for the PMA, i really need them at this point. Take care

Hi All,

I am soooooo excited for all the BFP!!!! I know that technically I will be testing in July and should be on that board....but I have to see you all through this month, you are all such a great bunch of TTC buddies....so like it or not I'm staying!!! :D :D

Aunty....way to go!!!!! What amazing and wonderful news!!! I can't wait to hear an update!!

As for everyone else....you too are all in my heart and prayers....we must stay positive :D .....even though at times we just want to cry from frustration  ....our mood swings turn us into CYBIL.....with fits of hysteria....our bodies are sore from the needles and the  :x  bloating (okay...and the gas  ) and the nasty effects from both the emotional and chemical sides on our path to motherhood. I know we will all get there...and I hope we can somehow stay connected through each of our journey's. :D  :P

Baby Dust and hugs to all,
Bella

P.S. I have a question? Has anyone been following a special diet or pre-pregnancy plan? I apologize if I have already asked this question. But I'm reading some of you are saying you drink alot of water?

aunty hunny I hope those little ones all of them  settle in and i hope you are feeling really good enjoy this time its so special, how many people outside of this group can you say you know that truly know the conception time of thier child!!! its amazing!!!

kristin..hunny i know you hear us all say this but the waiting is worth it
i started keeping a journal and found it something to look forward to writing in daily so i will be able to let my child read it later it helped me keep that pma!!!!

em..I am so sorry i busted out laughing when i read about your accident
I will tell you this when i was in the latter part of my 2ww i was clumsy as hell i actually busted up my toe and slammed my hand the next day ..loloo i really think we start to slip big time im not sure if its the drugs or just the distraction of the waiting but you have to take a picture because at some point that will be REALLY funny!! I hope its not broken that can be really uncomfortable but i am so sure that beautiful glow will shine through!!!

angie im sure everyones told you but really drink lots of water !!! it helps truly I am so sorry gonal is not fun  but the end result is sooo worth it !! i pray you will be able to get comfortable!!! PMA is sometimes irritating it really is ok to be anxious we have all been there but i promise it will be ok!!!

jackie ..hunny i am so sorry your having a ruff time just remeber keep talking to the embryos and keep positive its so hard to stay still but that seems to help like i told you i had BAD cramps i was really scared for thr first 3 weeks but if you gfo to the pregnant after treatment it really seems to be extremly common!!! please stay positive and know you are in my prayers!!!

Chel --you sound like its going well other than the total craziness of 2ww symptoms...im glad you are more comfortable and no thats not bad enjoy it ...the symptoms are vicious little buggers they sneak back up on you..lolol  and truly i think we all that have gone beyond the 2ww went through that moment when our symptoms where gone and we thought it was over i swear if you read back on my posts ...well maybe you shouldnt it just confirms how this stuff makes ya nuts!!!! prayers 2 you for babydust***** and the hpts really that can make you nuts too but i cant say a word i should now own stock by default in first response seriously i was headed for a 12 step program for overtesters!!!

babysteps first of all you belong right here with us !!! i am so happy to see your posts baby you make me smile everytime i read your posts!!! the only thing i did before i started was definitly increased water i would buy a 1 liter bottle on my way to work and try to finish it by lunch and try to drink another half b4 i went home...that increases you bathroom visits huge though...yikes but that and i made my own meals when i started stims trying to balance lots of protien and veggies light carbs that was what my clinic advised and i started prenates ..(yuck) and folic acid everyday ...i had issues with the prenates so i bought them in liquid form and i take it right before bed ...we jokingly call it baby*** because it looks and smells bad but i digest it alot easier...thats the only thing i was told to do i dont know if that helps but anyway !!!

you all sound wonderful and know you are in my thought s and prayers!!!
:D :D     ---babydust 2 ALL

great to hear how you are all doing! Babysteps, I just started acupuncture and booked 7 massages (over 7 weeks) and just forced myself to make the time for them It really helped me as i was able to really enjoy those pockets of calm and I always felt so much better afterwards.

kareen-sorry to read you have been a bit low. It is scary to get too excited

a quick questions for the bfpers- do you feel like af is coming all the time or is it just me? I am doing toliet checks every hour!!!!

love to all of you
