Don't apologise steph, I guess they don't teach computer skills at stripper school
You'll just have to remind me everyday.

My boss just rang to find out how the exam went. I think I was too honest. I should be more alpha and bravado it up a bit. doh.

I still haven't managed to do one iota of el study. I put my notes into piles though so, baby steps...

My Octofriends...sorry, I feel really crappy..... I am back in Dubai and everything seems to have hit me...it was going to happen at some point.
I just didn't know when.... well, just received a number of photos of my cousin with her 5 month old baby... I just want to cry.....my heart hurts...

WHEN, WHEN, will it be my turn??? It's not fair... I want one...haven't I done everything to deserve one?

Apologies for feeling sorry for myself.... just feel do distraught....and alone....

Anyway, going to pick myself up and go swimming... it's hot and humid here...yuck!

Got to keep busy until DH comes home tomorrow....and not sure what to say when we have the talk. He's an angel my DH... and will not force me to do anything I don't want to do...but not sure what is best at the moment or what I really want to be frank!! Treatment in July, August or September? I just want a baby... not the treatment

Sorry.... wanted to be all smiles today but nothing is coming...

Love to you all...

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooo,

Littles hugs are coming your way my friend. You need to stop apologising to us about feeling crappy. We have all felt like that and I am sure that one day it will your turn...It will be all our turn soon, but first we apparently just need to change jobs, stop stressing about it.
Of course I meant it when I said you should come over to Oz land and that goes for all the ladies in Octoberoonies.
Have you got a plan for your talk yet? I find it helpful to write stuff down so that i get it all out. I personally found doing a FET round not as stressful as a fresh round. I could have done it back to back but decided to lose some lard first. I think you would have to be emotionally ready as physically you can do it.

Camilla us octopussies are doing great don't you think....I think the longer it takes us to get those double lines on a pee stick the madder we all get... How did your pedicure go what colour did you go for? It's been quite cold here lately I wish it would rain though as Oz land is in a drought.

Jen I am happy to be your lucky mascot for your house and you can even rub my tummy for good luck but hopefully with my exercise it won't be around for much longer. Are you counting down the days until your mini arrives?

Lola the queen of study I am so proud of you for doing well in your test and I am sure you can do even better orally....I am sorry but I start giggling when I read your posts with oral written in them. I am wracking my brain on who the four people left are :) can you give me some clues...
And we will also need to catch up when you come over in December/January. We can either catch up for Ice Tea or Margharitas it really depends on where we are up to.

Steph 11 week ultrasound Yay!! Have you booked into your gyno yet?
Whatever you do don't laminate your ultrasound photos. My friends over here did it and it turned them black, and it is not something that you can get re-printed. Are you going to get a 4D ulstrasound done. You will need to post your ultrasound photos on here. Can we post picutres on here?

There isn't that much to report from camp Walshy I am still drinking grass and eating healthy and exercising hopefully losing some more weight. I am counting down the days until I start round 3. Later, Walshy

Hello Cha-Cha's!!

How's ma lad-ay's this fine hump day... mmm, Wednesday girls, minds outta the gutta...

Littles- life can be crap. You totally deserve a baby, no doubts sweets. You have worked hard and have yet to be rewarded, so feel blue, think life is unfair, get mad... Then let it go and remember that your little bundle will happen.. but we know that patience is an impossibility at this point. We have all been patient enough! I know that I always felt the most OK, when I was beginning a new cycle... fresh hope. Maybe it's time for you to begin again??? only you and DH can say luv. Thinkin of my gal.. sending hugs and a punching bag to suit all your moods!

Walsher- hey, hey whatta say?? hmm.. still grass guzzlin'.. I give it to ya.. you are dedicated! And my you look svelte today... Demetrio was tellin me how good.. but man.... look at sexy lady! Yep, I did made appt with ob/gyn.. it is on the 26th (my 12th week appt) !! Hoo-RAH. Although, they made my first appt with the midwife. Don't get me wrong, the midwife is great, she actually delivered my nephew (which I saw) and she did fab-u-lo-so.. but I just thought with my history I should see an MD.. but I trust the midwife. If she thinks I need something she will go to the doc.
Anyone else have nieces/nephews? I have 8 nephews and 1 niece. Grandparents are really hopin this one is a girl...

Lolaaaaa- studying away, back to library in spiky heels, pencil skirt and glasses? Lookin good! When is the date of the next big one... by big one I mean the Orals.. man this is getting dirty! He, he. .. if needin a break.. do a little dance.. make a little luv.. get down tonight.. get down tonight.. By the by, Demetrio is feeling a little left out and has ventured over to WalshyLand ... I think there is luv potion #9 in the "health shakes"

Jens- Check in please.. need a fill of JenLife.

Camilla- You have been playing 20 questions as of late.. but no good on you.. do you work? What does DH do? Will you work after stork drop off?

Well girls, I actually get to go back into the field today. Is only a day trip. I will be toolin around in a boat all day.. not an airboat this time.. a pontoon boat.. I will not be drivin, just relaxin with the wind in my hair... hopefully my morning sickness is gone by the time I get out there. I was eating my breakfast this morning fine as can be one minute and puking everything up the next.. after it passed I had to giggle. DH gets so excited everytime I am sick...

Off to the Lake,
Steph

 Hi Lovelies

Well the sun is shining and i have another viewer at 6 tonight then two tomorrow, 12 then 12.30pm. The sad thing is all the houses i like are out of my price range, typical, still hunting though.

Only one late yp last night. Am going out on Saturday and am on another sleep-over Friday night so they have all been warned  Love kids really

Little R - Cheer up lovely. We are here anytime for you so vent away and we'll try and help. Glad your dh is heading home for a big cuddle. Gutted Switzerland didn't win, defo didn't want France.

Loopy - Get that head in your book, thats an order. We want that big PASS mark so we have more good news for the Buds.
My dh is English and i'm Scottish. I moved to London when i was 18, travelled about a bit abroad then to Surrey then back to London, we met in between. He loves Scotland and so do i but i miss down South loads and still do after 5 yrs.
As for backing England, i'm shocked  Dh keeps putting the English flag up on the computer as a desktop and i keep changing it back to a good old Scottish one--------but he loves me really.

Steph - You lucky girl, morning sickness. They say a small biscuit and a few sips of water before moving out of bed in the morning cures this a treat, be our ginea pig and let us know how you get on.

Walshy - Still about 3 week until the mini arrves. Not impressed with the salesman, i told him i wanted it before dh's arm is out of his sling---all to myself but ---no can do

Camilla - I miss the heat now i'm living in Scotland, it does get hot but not like it was when i lived in London---i'm jealous. Since we are trying to move house and have a new car plus all the ivf money a holiday won't be on the cards this year  Glad you feeling ok.

Had a bit of shocker yesterday, can't remember if i told you (that's what sleep-over do to you), anyway a friend is pregnant. She has been trying for about 10 years and gone through 5 ivf's then is on the list for adoption and it happened naturally. I really dont bother about her as she deserves it so much but as soon as i hear about people getting pregnant i get sooooo upset. OOHHH I WISH SOOOO MUCH FOR OUR OWN BABY.

Anyway must go, viewer in 10 mins

Love Jen x

Afternoon all

Loved the last post!

Won't be long but if I don't check in almost every day I have loads to read and catch up on!

Walshy - You're doing well with the diet/exercise thing and looking forward to Aug I bet. As for toenails - went for bright pink, and since then it's been raining and a lot colder!

Little R - I agree with whoever said that FET was a whole lot easier to handle and maybe if you see it as a means to an end you could physche yourself up for it sooner rather than later. We all want you to have your baby.

Steph - Yeah I know, I've been v nosey recently but after such a long time talking I thought I should know a bit more about you lot. I don't work, I'm what you call a domestic engineer - you know, look after the house and family! My DH is a police officer but he doesn't work shifts any more, he works in training. Anything else and I shall be happy to let you know, within reason!!

Hope you are all fab and Lola and Jen sorry your teams aren't playing, not! Rugby is more Wales and Scotland's thing isn't it?

Love and all that.

Helloooo Girlie Twirlies....

Man!! This day is dragging on forever... I am so bored at work today and it definitely feels like it should be Friday!! But, no, it is Thursday.. one more day until the weekend.. Fathers Day this weekend.. more cookouts etc. I am on cookout/picnic overload! Ah well, tis summer..

Dh was away last night and will be home late tonight.. which means a little alone time to watch girlie fun shows and have the couch all to myself without hearing the words "isn't there anything else on tv.. I don't want to watch this stupid show... i'm bored... whine, whine, whine....." Good times. I like alone time, It doesn't matter how many times in one night I watch Pride and Prejudice!

Littles- have fun at the fill up buffet. Also, Good luck with the talk. Hopefully you were able to figure out what you want to do and when. I am sure that DH will go along with whatever you are comfortable doing, afterall, it really is the girls who deal with 100% of the physical stress and 85% of the mental... i don't think the boys obsess like we do...

Camilla- Another man in uniform heh? Good for you. Also, you have my dream job.. staying at home.. I would luv that! But, my forester DH isn't exactly Richie Rich. I like to have spending money for fun stuff.

Lolers- hmmmm. I need a Lola fill. Demetrio did entertain me to try to make up for it.. but, I still need a segment of Lola, This is My Life!

Walshy- Come Back!

Jens- so busy showing house no time for chit chat... I am glad for your friend.. but no exactly how it feels to want it to be your news! It will soon chum...

Back to BoredomVille,
Steph

 Hi Chicks

Have been so busy with the house and horrid kids at my work last night. Am on another sleep-over tonight so they have been warned not to misbehave or be late as we are going out tomorrow and need to put my fake tan on and do my nails so dont want to my bed late  Bet they will be little

House - Still got a good few viewers. Have one note of interest and another couple loved it so might be another one soon. If we get 2 plus notes of interest then we go to a closing date and they have to bid so i can get lots of money for my next house  So confusing here in Jock Land when it comes to houses, its just luck really.

Mini - Still waiting

DH - Still away in England  but coming home tomorrow

So Little R - Are you feeling full up? I hope you feel fat today, you'll understand how i feel everyday then  Let us know how the "the talk goes", good luck and get dh to log on to Steve for a chat if he needs some help.

So what about the footie result then last night? My dh is well chuffed England are going through but even he admitted they are playing crap and have been lucky. Anyway the highlight of the night was watching Freddie score for Sweden, he is gorgeous----------can score with me anytime  My dh already knows if Freddie makes me a better offer, it will be seriously considered

So am away to meet my old Keychild who i gave respite care atoo and have lunch together before work.

Big hug for all you gorgeous Buds, have a good weekend and think of me working hard while your lazing in the sun

Hey my Octofriends.....well it's another hot and humid day.... what's new  It's got to the point where I no longer want to go out.... beurk, at least 3 more months of this fun

Well, I owe you all a couple of posts....

The news about "the talk"....well, tears were shed because the situation is frustrating and emotional... I don't believe I can have a conversation about babies, IVF, FET, the clinic without shedding any tears at this point
DH is a love and is very patient with me...
We have decided to go ahead with the FET ASAP which all really depends upon my Dr. She apparently will be away for 5 weeks so may actually go ahead and do the FET without her. I know her replacement and he is very nice. Anyway, I won't have a confirmation about starting until after 24 June. I am currently waiting for an appointment BUT as we have carte blanche to call our Dr anytime, I plan on using it
I know this is long-winded, but it would mean we could start beginning of July if all goes according to plan (ET would be late July/beginning of Aug).
Not sure what to think...sometimes not thinking at all helps
At the end of the day, I want a baby and this FET is no where near as demanding as a full blown cycle so my body should hopefully cope.

That's my news for the moment as I can't confirm any of this without the Dr

Lola, love - how's the studying going  . Bet you must be thinking July will be a fab month. You SO deserve to just hang out and not have to think about the tough stuff.
"Orals" soon then....it's true, cannot really write that without having a giggle spasm
Well, we didn't beat the French.... pity as it would have done their over-sized frog egos some good! Those French  Thank you for backing CH....let's hope we beat Togo....yes, I have my WC (not toilet!) wallchart and my afternoons are now all mapped out
Hope you're taking some time off to enjoy your weekend.

Camilla - thanks for your thoughts and support. I did smile about you .... imaging you in Next trying on trousers  Thanks for that, it kind of made my day! Nice going with the toes....wishing you better weather so they can show themselves off

Jen, lass - well, you are certainly busy. Hope your DH's dad is okay and thriving now that WC is on and GB isn't doing too badly 8) Great news on the house....see, it is all falling into place..house, mini, baby  (in that order!) Fingers crossed that you get heaps of dough  so you can purchase the house of your dreams. I definitely loaded up that day at the Indian buffet...could bearly fasten the top button on my jeans. Thank goodness they are low-cut...less of an issue. I felt stuffed  , was a great feeling! So you still doing well with your scales...

Steph, buddy! How are you and the bump? You'll soon be there. Not long to wait now...you must be so excited. How was your time alone? What did you watch? What did you read? Have a fab weekend and cookout

Walshy.... may just take you up on that Oz tour offer. Would love to finally put a face to the name  How's the grass beverage doing? Congrats on the weight loss.

Must dash....DH needs the computer...

Much love to you all...enjoy your weekend,

Will be back tomorrow,

Little R

 Girls am in a mad rush. Just finished a shift, have 2 more viewers then work colleagues round at 6, then out to party at 7.

Little R - So pleased you have come to a decision. Sounds great, stick to your plan and you'll be fine. We'll be here all the way for you  .

Thinking of you all, must dash and will catch up tomorrow before work----------as long as the Rum doesn't have too much affect on the old body.

Morning ladies

Good, didn't miss too much over the weekend!

Little R - I think that's a good decision and it's good you feel comfortable with the other doc and that you can contact him anytime. All positives and that will help with your state of mind as you go in for your FET. It goes without saying we support you in this one. We have a WC wall chart too but it's remembering to put on results that I'm having do!

Hello to everyone.

Nothing much to report here. Had a nice weekend. Sat we went to a neighbour's BBQ and was great opportunity to meet our new neighbours as several families were invited. Sun was Father's Day and we had a very nice pub lunch with my parents and brother and his partner. No cooking over the weekend so what a result!

See you all later.
