anyone else had this....???

Hi everyone, it's me im back after my bed / sofa rest been pampered and spoilt ...i was great up until today

i started to get AF pains and my tummys been huge gets bigger as the day goes on just like AF im really getting myself down now i have the back ache too ...is it all over for me 3 days post transfere?.
i am on progesterone injections but they had no affect on me last time so i doubt its that this time... i have read a lot about AF pains but noone seems to have had the swelling too....would love to read its normal for us crazy ladys to feel like this...please

I have everything crossed for you! And wishing you the best!
I was on the progestrone shots last IVF but, I dont remember feeling any pains but, everybody is different just rest and relax and hang in there!

Hang in there Deb......I wish I could reassure you with my infinite wisdom....
I know it is easier said than done, but you must remain as positive and calm as possible:lol:

I believe women get all sorts of pains very similar to AF when they are pregnant so it doesn't mean anything.
What day was your ET?
Maybe the swelling is left over from the EC or even the ET.... I remember swelling in between the time of the EC and the ET (my first IVF was Day 3 ET).

Thinking of you and hoping that you are resting.

I had the same problem 5 days after transfer. I did D2 transfer and after 5 days I had AF cramps and low back pain a few times and my tummy swelled up like nothing, I kept drinking plenty of water and within one or two days tummy went down, however, it still swell a bit during the late afternoons and mild AF pain shows up at times. So i think it should be normal, moreover, we all are different so our body is reacting differently. You take care........

Hi Aunty,

I had AF symptons a couple of days after transfer - they went on for a good week or so and then seemed to stop - I was CONVINCED it was the normal run up to AF - it was EXACTLY THE SAME and...............I got a BFP so do not give up hope - its not over till the old lady arrives!

thank you thank you thank you..you have no idea how great that was to read this morning, of course your all right, i think from today im going to follow the advice and be positive .... it wont change anything by being negative .... thank you again your all so great appreciate your time, i think it was just i was scouring the boards all i could find was people saying they had pain noone mentioned swelling its odd to feel like its only you ..
