Hi Dolly,
Thanks for your message - you're a sweetie!
I'm so sorry to hear things didn't work out for you this time. I hope you're still managing to stay positive. I bet it's a small consolation at the moment, but you can do it naturally. And even if you don't, next time will be your time. You've been a great buddy and I wish you loads and loads of luck next time. Any idea when you're allowed to cycle again yet?

My scan was fine. One teeny heartbeat flickering away! A huge relief. I have another one next Friday too - they scan at 8 weeks at King's and it's great to see the bambino as often as possible.

I spent the weekend in hospital again!!! Same thing - sudden unbelievable pain on Sat a.m. - my ovaries have stayed huge and they think a cyst is twisting on itself. They can't drain it as I need it (!!) to sustain the pregnancy, but they should all go down by 12 weeks when the placenta has formed. Lots of water and crossed fingers until then. Small price to pay but my god it hurts when it flares up! Bit embarrassing throwing up in A&E too!

Anyway, take good care of yourself and stay in touch. Enjoy the natural conception attempts!! (not sure I'll ever let Rob near me again at this rate) Beck x

Hi Beck, I am back to my old positive self again after a week of depression and thinking it would never work out for us. It has been great talking to you and being part of the JCBs - I am so pleased it worked for you and it has given me added hope - it does work and it is just a matter of waiting for my turn.

My follow-up appointment isn't until 19th September (first date Kevin could do) - but I will be giving them a call when AF arrives to check when I'm allowed to start again - but if I remember rightly they ask you to wait for 2 AFs - so going on that I think stims will start mid-October.

Sounds like you're having a pretty rough time... but it will be worth it! It must be amazing to see the heartbeat.

Hope you start to feel better soon...take it easy! Let me know how you get on next Friday.

Love
Dolly
