How long to down reg

Hi guys
Just been on the intro forum and i'm quite worried. A couple of the ladies have said that they've had troble down regging on buseralin. I was under the impression that when i go for my 1st scan on the 28th after downregging for over 3 weeks that i would start stims straight away.
How long is average to d/regg? anybody else had trouble? time is so precious.

Hi Wendy. I down-regged for 3 wks. Luckily had no side-effects. I then had my scan and started stimming. On my next cycle I've to down-reg for 4 weeks coz my DH won't be home on time then I'll start my stimms. Good luck. Paula x

Hi Wendy, try not to worry. Everyone responds to meds differently. Odds are that you will have down regged and be ready to start stims. Even if you haven't there will be other options to take. This IVF lark is sooooo unpredictable...hang in there I'm sure you will be fine. PMA to you

Hi Wendy

First 2 cycles of IVF I down regged on Prostap (1 long lasting injection for just over 2 weeks). I had side effects and was convinced that the drug stayed in my system for much longer than it says on the packet. Both cycles failed.

The third cycle I switched to buserelin and I felt tons better - everything went smoothly, I downregged for 2 weeks and carried on to get a BFP!

Wow girls thanks so much for your replies i feel so much better now. Still bleeding quite heavy on this af so i reckon that's good news.
