Hey Yasmine,

Just popped in for a quick look as not much time this morning, and got a lovely surprise. Congratulations to you, that is such fantastic news. I will be looking for your beta results later in the week. Mine will be on Tuesday, so we can compare!!! So exciting, I feel like a small child again, "I'll show you mine, if you show me yours" thing going on. Again, many congrats, well done you (and DH!).

Hi Ladies

Lots of good newson the thread at the moment! Many congrats to Yasmine.

Bev good luck for tomorrow. You must be so excited! Have a feeling it may be twins for you!! The details of our tmt were that 9 eggs were collected and 5 fertilized. However 3 of the embryos had very poor cell division and the drs have disguarded them. The final 2 were graded 10/10 and 9/10, 5 and 4 cell division, with no fragmentation. So we don't have any in the freezer but the 2 we do have are top notch. We were a little disappointed but heh, we are on our 2ww and we are staying positive! Our donor was 23 and a photographer. Am now trying to keep up with the medication regime of suppositories (yueck!) and patches (ow!) Am taking it easy for the moment and will go back to work on Wednesday.

Kat, glad to see you had a great holiday. Yes, I did meet the delicious Dr Olivares.... quite a dish!

Tammy, hope AF behaves and arrives on time. Good luck with your cycle.

Caz, sorry to see your news. Take care x

Gail, if you need any info on IM let me know.

Alison, good to hear from you. Won't be long until August and you'll be on the roller coaster again!

Smita, thanks for your message. Hope all is well with you.

Hugs to all here
Bye for now

Hi everyone
Just wondering if anyone else watched Panorama last night? It was about women leaving starting a family until they are approaching or over 40. We are trying so hard to stay positive at the moment (the BFP's on this site have helped recently!) but it was so hard when you see a program like this and it reminds you just how difficult it is. I wouldn't care but we didn't choose to leave it until now we have been trying for about 10 years and have made major lifestyle changes (moving abroad etc) as everyone always said it will "just happen" one day - but it didn't. Anyway sorry to have a rant but I thought they were really being unfair by saying that we all "choose" to start a family later in life - for some of us it's just the way it happens.
Keep up the BFP's everyone,
Good luck with your appointment tomorrow Bev -you must be so excited - here's hoping for twins!!
Anna - glad all went well in Barcelona - keep those embies warm and cosy, take it easy.
Lisa (2) - good luck with your scan tomorrow!
Love Ali xx

Hi all,

The nurse rang me this evening to say she had my beta back. I am in a mild state of shock - she said "it's positive, a strong positive". I said ok, that's good, but what is the level? She replied 985!!!!! Ooops, does that look like more than one to you guys? Guess I will just have to wait until the scan in a couple of weeks.

Sorry, no time for personals at the moment, hoping everyone is good.
