I am new to this board and I want to say congratulations! My DH and I are going through our first IVF cycle with PGD. We have had four pregnancies (on our own) all which ended in miscarriage. We found out that I have a balanced translocation of chromosome 12 and 17.

We had our ER (17 eggs) on Tuesday and we are scheduled for our ET this Sunday (6/25/06). Yesterday, I received a call and found out that of the 17 eggs, 11 were fertilized and only four survived. Now, we have to wait until Sunday to find out the results of the PGD (it take two days). I am so nervous and I was so upset, I really wanted better odds. But your story is proof...It only takes one!

JASONR01 hi... wow how close this is.....we had 18 eggs 11 fertilized, 4 survived
and only one passsed the pgd test....so i wish you good luck......
let me know....... they can also tell you the sex of it with the pgd test

Congrats the numbers look great....wow your scan is no early, my scan is not for another 3 weeks... i wish i can have another beta test but my doctor does only one blood test and scans 3 weeks later...goodluck and let us know how everything goes!

you know....i still think that is to early for the ultrasound.....
i just can not belive that the heart is allready beating....
my wife she's keep on geeting this stomac cramps with they freak me out... are you getting any cramps at all??????

i wanted to let you know that i am getting cramps all the time, not every minute but they are they... i feel like i am on my period right now, i have period cramps all the time... I hope you and her can just relax and try to enjoy this, it seems that she is on the right track, plus everything will show at your ultrasound on monday, i wish you good luck, please let us know how the ultrasound goes... takecare
