 Well, well, can't believe how quiet it's been. Where are you all hiding?

Had my night out and i felt exhausted all day Sunday. Can't handle these late nights. Luckily most of the yp were out for the evening so was able to chill out until they came home. Was on early shift today and i slept in, can't believe that, i never do it. So i ran around the house for 15mins trying to look presentable and made it to work on time. I usually need about 40 mins to get up and be with it for the day so 15mins was impressive. Just feel shattered, so its off to bed for me after Big Brother.

The dreaded AF came and went but it was weird as i had some shooting pains down near where my tuberoos are. Don't know if the hydro causes this??? Any thought Loopy, you've been there.

Had another offer on the house, but will probably leave it on the market for another week as we're still having viewers. Can't find a house for us though  Hope one comes up soon, i just want to get this house business out of the way before the hospital.

The garage told us the mini will probably be ready for the 10th July  can't wait that long, i want it now.

Steph - Will be thinking of you on Wed. Everything will be perfect and the little heart beat will be ticking away nicely

Hope you all had a good weekend? Any news to report?

See you all tomorrow

Love Jen x

Haloos and apologias

I've been brain dead for past week and not that much further up the Glasgow Coma scale now. Sinusitis is back and he's brought his bessie mate Senor PO'ed with him. Steph! Where is the bubble?? To make it clear and simple I've compiled a list (straighten tie, clear throat)
Things I am PO'ed About
1) I have probably spent the past few months studying my tail off for NADA as I have probably failed
2) My Negativity
3) My sinuses and their insistance that I pay them some attention
4) My inability to get up the duff despite throwing a fair few thousands at it
5) My friends who get pregnant by simply wanting to "Oh, I fancy another child, oi oi, I'm pregnant" BIG WHOOP
6) All pregnant people except Steph and Camilla
7) All women with babies except my bf
8 ) everything else

Thank you for listening, I bid thee farewell.

Steph - got my eye on Wednesday!! Exciting and a bit scary! I am sure all will be bueno in the uterine garden, I just know it. I want the full debrief after scan. Also, I'm here to inform you that you have to get a computer for home. Full stop. And goose chasing.... ooh lah lah, better than goose stepping, worse than goosing. But. Shouldn't you be taking it easy and not harassing wild fowl? Just a thought...
Jemlaquer - hmm, I wouldn't have thought a hydrosalpinx would give you pain. Maybe it was your ovaries, sighing? Everyone seems to love your house... maybe you shouldn't move? :D Hope you find dream home soon - as soon as my whatsits are over I will join you on the trail to casa.

Littles my sweet girl, glad my "orals" give you the grin. So, FET in July/August. I will be here, cheering you on! You will now be the first of us in the Third Time Lucky Liferaft! I've informed Demetrio and he's polishing his punting pole in readiness. Dedication, thats what i love about him. And his buff perky bottom. ooh.
Camilla - your life seems an ocean of calm. Are you getting uncomfortable now in the hot weather?
Walsheroo - the socceroos are still in with a shout! What's up harbour dweller? Do you have any dates yet??

I have my follow up appointment with Dr McFertile on Friday. Can any of you tell me why I decided to organise it for between my exams? Spanner. I have to say I don't want to go and talk to him really, don't want to start ivf again, don't want any of this. Want off the island. Start voting! Sure the world will look a less brown shade of it once the examinations are OVER.

Righto bean club!
I'm off to examine my husbands heart. Nothing kinky, just practising

Take it easeh ma girlfriends, a demain!

Hi Octobuds

Steph - Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Obviously let us know how it goes. You're a wild woman you are! I'm picturing you chasing around the outdoors after geese, you must be quick or were the geese slow?

Jen - Well you must have a lovely house for everyone to be making offers. July is nearly here so your car isn't far away. Not sure about the shooting pains but I'm sure it's nothing to worry too much about.

Lola - You have been a busy bunny and it's no wonder you're so stressed. As you've got your appt with your doc on Friday you might as well go and you may come away with some positivity to see you through your exams. Cammomile tea for you from now on I think!, that will help calm you.

Little R - Well done Switzerland!

As for me I'm feeling v good and am passing on my good vibes to you all.

These Nuts!

It seems everyone is slowly seeping back.... Walshy? Littles? where to? hmmm? Rule #1: Group is not complete until all are in attendance. Rule #2: Lola still continues to doubt her intelligence even though her brain is the size of London. Rule #3: This will be last trip aboard life raft, sorry Demmy, but your life raft skills will no longer be necessary, only babysitting! Rule #4: The worry portion of our brains (will neep help here Dr. Lolster) will no longer function, only annoyingly positive side of brain (much like that of a cheerleaders) will control our every thought. A little dancin anyone?

Lola-la-la-la- So glad your back round these her parts. Missed my galpal. What is the self doubters all about? You have already kicked *ss on all parts test worthy... only will continue with Lola Greatness! Please step inside the magi-bubble for dowsing. Hands and feet must remain inside at all times while the bubble is in motion. Demetrio says: If the bubble is a rockin, don't come knockin! Friday Friday Friday... you begin your last cycle before BFP!! Tell the doc no money if no positive! make em work extra hard..

Jen- dream house just around the corner with all the extra money from the sale of your house! So, do tell more about night out.. did you shake your groove thang? Where beer goggles? Do anything really embarassing compliments of the spirits?

Camilla- As for the geese.. slow as turtles... they are molting right now, no flight feathers! I was on the boat for the most part "drivin" them in to shoreline like herdin cattle. Easy day on the lake for me.. I let the guys do all the hard work and get covered in nice greasy goose crap slime. Glad everything is going smooth as silk for you with pregnancy.. Gives us girls hope...

Littles & walshy- post a line please! need a little in-office entertainment for the day.

As for me.. nerves are in high gear.. but, please see rule #4 above... woke up this morning at 3:30 feeling very wierd and have endo like back pain.. but nausea was in full force this mornin, so that's good right? OHhhhhh, can't wait until tommorrow morning!!!!! I'll believer everything is tops when I see it!

Smacks and pinches,

Ta Steph, I will try the hard line with McFertile but no hopes. The part of the brain to which my learned colleague was referring was the Worry Homunculus, next to the Central Guilt Gyrus. The Cheerleading, Spangle spanky pants area ( Smile-o-thalamus Major) will be booted into action AHORA MISMA! Go Go Go!
Positivity will be so plentiful it will fill our heads and have to seep out of our eyes like shiny tears of Yes. I am also muy nervous for you tomorrow but at the same time I'm certain that all will be well and you can relax a little like you deserve!

I just can't get that David Soul song "Silver Lady" out of my head! Grr, The Indiana wind and rain cuts through me! STOP DAVID I BEG YOU!

Anyhoo, the above is my current reason for not studying. You likey?

Camilla - I will take you up on the Cammomile idea, just let me finish my cappaccino first...I am like Tweek from South park.

R, Walsh, Jen - oi!

So yes, I was about to review the toxicology of lead when Silver Lady infiltrated my cerebrum, kaboom! I am a casualty of The Soul. England play Sweden tonight - may I present excuse 2.
Had a chat to bf about my appt on fri and felt myself start to get a bit choked. Man! I don't want a bar of this lark. I just want to get pregnant! Who's in charge here? I want to speak to the manager!
Good news though, for some reason my boobs have grown! Hoorah! And also (though probably not related?) I just bumped into Marc Almond in Earls Court! Star spot!

OK, I'll stop rambling now

Adios compadres!

Amor como un cerro de oro!

Hi girls

Well the summer must be over, the rain is here but the panic of the day is i can't find a house
Got three notes of interest now on ours so will probably go to a closing date in about 1-2 weeks.

Typical on my two days off the rain is here so we went shopping and had a lovely yummy Starbucks instead (with a cup cake added in---very naughty).

Loopy - You can't be sad, your role in the Buds is to amuse us. Your exams results will be great and once they are out of the way you can then concentrate on your baby 100%. Keep smiling, your doing so well.

Steph - Yes i was partying hard and paid the price until yesterday. I feel fine now but remember all too clearly why i don't really drink. Will be thinking of you tomorrow but the sickness your having is a great sign---all will be fine

Camilla - Thanks for your vibes, have you got any special ones for house hunters and wanabe Mum's??

Little R and Walshy - Am thinking of you both as usual.

Ok, got two more viewers after tea so am going to chill for a bit.

Love and hugs

Sorry Octogals....been feeling under the weather lately... some weird stomach bug. It's been a few days now. I don't have any fever so it's probably nothing bad.

Just received a mail from my little cousin who had her baby in January. She sent a generic mail to the family with some pics the other day and that reduced me to a pulp.... this time she actually sent me a personal letter with comments about her little one. I wish I could get past this feeling of suffocation when I read about other people's babies. Anyway...this doesn't help my tummy

The weather here is horrible.... I can't believe that I am going to have to stick around this muggy, humid, sticky, and sweltering place for the next 3 months. It's honestly going to be agony. I have made lots of plans (all indoors!) to keep me busy...like spring cleaning, photo album cataloguing, movie and book inventoring, and dvd editing.... all exciting stuff as you can see

On 23rd, I am going to send an sms to my Doctor and then start harrassing the clinic on Saturday  to get an appointment before AF arrives end of the month. Otherwise we will miss out on July. I would be relieved to get an "okay you can move forward" from the Doctor  I am exhausted just thinking about it.....

Lola - don't doubt yourself...we don't. As Steph mentioned, you must have a brain the size of London  by now. I am sure that you're one of those people who achieves what you set out to accomplish  Before you even think it, the baby doesn't count because WE don't have any control over that!!! You probably think you did badly when, in fact, you will be pleasantly surprised  We have faith in your incredible brain-cramming and academic aptitude. Sermon over
I am happy to see you are taking some time out of your schedule to watch England and the WC  I watched yesterday evening, but didn't think that England played that well. You take care Loopy.... I'll be thinking of you on Friday at your appointment. I know how you feel...you are torn between the desire to have the baby delivered via stork express and having to have to go through IVF to get it... I felt the same way when I started my 2nd IVF...but those feelings of frustration go away as soon as you get into it all.
Heaps of PMA to you, my Octofriend!

Steph.... am sure you will be fine today. Your symptoms sound good and healthy. Looking forward to reading your next post... You'll be able to really enjoy your pregnancy and breathe soon

Jen....houses, houses, houses.... really hoping you'll find your dream mansion  Hang in there... your house certainly sounds popular. Hugs to you my friend!

Camilla... thank you, Switzerland didn't do too badly! I was screaming my head off alone in our flat...what a pathetic scene   Did you hear me? How are you doing? Still feeling all those positive vibes

Walshy.... thought of you the other day. DH came home from Sydney with a book for me.... he's really sweet like that. Anyway, it's called Sex at 6pm by Annarossa Berman....have you heard about it? It's a personal journey through IVF. I hope you are doing well...how is the kitchen coming along?

Lots of love to all of you.... sickening sunshine coming your way

Ma Girls!!

Checkin in with big smiles today!! 11 week ultrasound shows perfectly healthy baby!!! We saw the arms, legs, bum and a side profile of the face. I feel like I can breathe again after 4 weeks of holding my breath waiting for the bad news that always comes.... but this little bean has decided it likes Uterus-O- Steph... now I can't keep the smile off my face!
Girls, I can't wait until you get your happy news, each and every one of you will!

Little R- so glad you have come back, but sorry for the tummy problems. I think your plan of fertlity doc attack sounds perfecto! I really think that once the cycle has started you will have the hope back! I think that mall shopping sounds like the perfect way to pass the time in the AC!

Jen- I am currently reading Bad Boys in Kilts. Are all the scottish men as sexy as they are in my mind and in this book?

Loolers- time for a chat! put down the books! I like the positivity eye ooze by the way... very detailed description... Are sinuses still a bother and boobs all the bigger? Maybe they are linked? How was trip to magi-bubble?

Walshy- still all quiets?

Camilla- howdy.

A bit smiley, actually

Oh Steph thats fantastic! It still hasn't really sunk in that you're pregnant. Are you fat yet? Did you get a scan photo? I'm so pleased that you can relax a bit now and the vomitting will stop soon and all will be skippy in the land of steph!
Halloo the girls!
I've got to pike off but I'll pop back later

 Hi gang

Steph - Brilliant news about your little bump, knew it would all turn out fine. I just hope and pray that we will all get the same happy feeling as you have, one day.
Oh by the way, Scottish men are handsome and their accent is nice but they are a little short, well alot of them-------i had to find mine in London

Loopy - Are you feeling a bit better? Don't worry about thoe exams, i know its going to be ok. Good luck for Friday, i will be on yet another sleep-over so will catch up with your news on Sat.

Littles - Hope that tiny tum of your is recovering. My Mums friends live in Dubai but escape back to Scotland for about 4 months in the summer as they say the heat is unbearable. Just relax and laze about, wish the months away so your next cycle will be here.

Walshy - Where you hiding girl? We miss you so return a.s.a.p and let us know how your feeling?

Camilla - How you doing? Are you chilling in the sun down in Kent?

Me - We now have 4 notes of interest on our flat and another 2 viewers tonight. Think we will go to a closing date in 1-2 weeks and then they can all bid against each other and make me rich  I WISH.

We have decided to call the hospital tomorrow and try to find out if we can get a cancellation for my op. I cant wait until Nov for my next cycle, its just so far away. I panic about my age and dont want to be an ancient Mum. I know im being dramatic and will be grateful for a baby anytime but i would rather have it sooner than later. I just want to get on with the Big 3.

Anyway off to let more people stomp through my house at 7, catch you all soon.

AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! Screamin at top of lungs!!

I hate my boss, I hate my boss!!!

So, yesterday was the day I told work that i am preggers. My immediate supervisor was out of the office, so I told our Division chief. He gave me a big bear hug, told me congratulations and that he was going to get a seatbelt and tie me to my chair.... very sweet, very nice... very happy for me after all I have been through...
This morning was the day to tell my supervisor.. he says congratulations, then 2.5 seconds later says.. we are going to have a meeting to discuss your job responsibilities. I said- the only thing I can't do is lake treatments for this summer and you already knew that might happen... he says.. yeah, but I don't know how long you will be off for maternity leave, we might have to shuffle things around........... IS HE NUTS!!! How dare he change my job because I am pregnant and will be taking off 2-3 months!! That is just wrong, plus I am pretty sure illegal. The thing that bothers me the most is that he didn't even wait ten minutes and be happy for me.. instead his first concern is the work that I am going to miss!!! He is worlds biggest *sshole! I tried to go down and talk to a friend in human resources to find out what he can and can't do.. but she wasn't in.
I am steaming right now!!!!!! i knew he was an *ss.. so I don't know why I am surprised!!

I thought a vent would make me feel better... but I am still mad!!

Just popped in before my meeting to say he is the King Of Ass! He is the Hole-emperor! The Anus Tsar!
I'm pretty sure its illegal too, certainly would be in the UK to disadvantage someone because of pregnancy.
Wow, baby pictures! So great!
I have to go - I have a meeting and am going to kick someones ass for their completely unprofessional behaviour - kabboooommmm!

Hi lovelies

Steph - So out of order whats happening at your work, he sounds like a Class 1 Ass. Hunt down that friend in human resourses and find out where you stand. Don't put up with any of his crap.

Lola - What happened in your work? What did they do wrong?
How did your appointment go, let me know all the details?

Littles and Walshy - How you both doing? Hope your feeling better R, big hug for your poorly tum.

House - Well i have 5 notes of interest now for my house and another couple of viewers over the weekend. The closing date is on Thursday, so let the bidding begin. Am going to view 2 houses for us at the weekend and keep praying we find something soon.

Op - Called the hospital today and was overly friendly to the woman in charge of the cancellation list. Will call again next week, so fingers crossed.

Mini - Still 14-16 days to go

Ok, have a thumping headache and need to lie down. Have a good weekend, think of me working hard
