cant believe what ive done what should i do

hi everyone, i cant believe what ive done. ive just had a fall. i went flying. i dont no how i fell i just tripped, face down. im in shock and got a bit upset but i feel ok. i hope the baby(s) will be ok. what should i do just rest? im not hurt just in shock. i did think of going to the doctor and asking him to scan me, it think it would be too early to show anything anyway, im 4w4d my scan is not till 13thjuly. i would be devisted in 3 weeks if i went and there was nothing there. i hope i didnt hurt them.
very worried clumsey womanx i cant believe i fell over

Hi.... oh dear i can well imagine how shook up you are, i would say lay down rase your feet up rest if you start to feel anything out of the norm id go to the DR's you may want to call see what he says it cant hurt to call tell them what happened ...i hope all is ok

I hope you are feeling ok... i would call the doctors office just to make sure...so that you dont panic later.... Gosh i hope you feel better soon...
but as Debz said put your legs up and rest as much as possible.

Hi Hayley,

dont worry sweet, I you feel ok, the baby(ies) will be ok. My doc told me that the embies are not feeling the gravity in your womb. They are well protected. I guess if you receive a punch in your tummy, it would be bad or if you fell while heavily pregnant etc...
But at that stage, I am sure they are ok. Try to relax, you are ok

Hayley,
You will be fine don't worry- as souris said, the embies are well cushioned..One o fht girls on the other side had a fall after her ET.. she is now the mother of twins.. I fell when I was 4 months pregnant- was not hurt, just worried.
I called the clinic and they said not to worry and only report to them if i saw some bleeding.
Relax, I'll keep everything crossed for a great scan for you..

In the early preggy weeks with my first baby I had the worst car crash ever. The fire men who came to get me out of the car said that they were shocked that I was alive. I was black and blue but ok and so is my 11 year old little girl who is asleep now.
The doctor said he had seen preggy women after being kicked by horses and they went on to have perfect babys.

I managed to slip and fall down the last 4 stairs during the 1st Tri.
All I suffered was a very bruised bottom! My twins are now 7 weeks old

Good luck with your scan - get plenty of rest and try not to worry too much (easier said than done, I know!)

It is extremely unlikely that you will have caused any harm. To be honest you can do more harm with stress than a physical fall in the first 3 months (and sadly I am speaking from experience). Professor Robert Winston did a documentary on this last year where it showed more harm been caused by emotional upset than physical injury. So your best bet is to stay really calm, breath slowly in through your nose and out through your mouth until your anxiety reduces. In the unlikely event that you see any spotting, go to the A&E otherwise I would rest up for at least 48 hours.
I know you have had a shock but I am positive you will be alright.
