Hi Paula,

I'm good, thank you for asking. Its starting to drag a little now and I'm getting frustrated. I know there's nothing I can do but wait, but it doesn't help. I have also bought a HPT. Very naughty I know, but I am so positive its worked this time, I feel I need to do a test to bring me down a peg or two. If it doesn't work and I am this positive, I'll fall in such a heap.

Hope you are all well,

Em

Hi Ladies,

Hope everyone is keeping well?

Well looking at the list, it all beginning to get started, most of us are starting something on our exciting and nerve racking journey to a BFP and a beautiful baby.

I'm beginning to think it's got to work for me this time, as enough has gone wrong these past couple of months, and it's about time something good happened.

Talking about things going wrong. Your never guess what stupid thing happened to me yesterday!!!!!!!!

My neighbour wanted some corriander from me so i got up from the computer to get her some and i tripped over the cable. I went flat on my face.
I caught my big toe on the wire, after a 2 hr trip to the ER they told me i've broke my toe and now i've got one of those stupid shoes on.
Just in time for my trip back to England next Tuesday.

So i say again, things have got to get better for me......

Hey Em how's your nose :?: :?: hope it's healing well.
We're a right pair arn't we.....

Everyone take care
Rachel OXO

Hey all you ladies,
Thank you for your well wishes Nicola. I guess I did not have my facts strait on my sis. She will not be starting the stims until the 10th. She had her u/s and blood and psyc assessment yesterday and they gave her her one lupron shot. I guess the psycologist decided she was'nt crazy so she can go ahead with this. I have to go see her tomorrow. I also have to get an u/s, blood and dh has to do his backup. He is not looking forward to that. hee hee.

Rachel (lara) I know how you feel. My AF came late so I couldn't start when I wanted to! So annoying. It's always on time except when I'm waiting for it so I can start treatment. Never mind we'll get there. Enjoy your meal. Paula x

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies. I have had a rough day. My friend who is 28 weeks pregnant had some pain this morning and the only person she could get hold of is me so I ended up spending the morning sitting with her in the delivery suite while she was monitored, surrounded by loads of other mums to be! Not easy. Still, just want to get on with it now. Hopefully start downregging on 5th July and it can't come soon enough. And how do you go into this with an open mind and stay positive? :? Best wishes and good luck to all of you. xx

Hi Ems,am not sure you can go into it with an open mind and positive thoughts, altough we all try to,im constantly worried that at every phase things will not go right, easier said than done, but you just gotta try and stay positive, and think that every step is that step closer to you fullfilling your dreams....Take care..Nicola..xx

Rachel.. OUCH on the toe...

WELCOME... Imelda and Ems.

(((EMS))) It is sooo hard... I find the hardest part of infertility is haveing pregnant friends and family....

I had my first scan today.. all looks good.. in fact he saw LOTS of eggs in there just waiting to be JUICE by my meds that he decreased my Menapour from 4 doses to 2... DO let's hope this is a good sign... I start my Stims one week from yesterday and took my last BCP yesterday so waiting for AF to show... tick tock...

PEACE and laughter to all of us!!!

Hi Ladies,

Hoping to jump on the July thread. I started downregging this week with lupron, had lab orientation last night and expect AF next week and to start stimming on July 1st. My prospective retrieval and transfer dates are right now for mid July. DH and I are just so thrilled to be doing something. I guess we were lucky that once we started testing, it was sorted out in just the first few days with a definitive HSG. I have been lurking but now feel ready to join up with you girls.

Hello everyone!

Gosh we have had several newbies in the last couple of days!! I have to keep up better!

I had my suppression check on Tuesday and I was suppressed!! So I started Estrace today. It is a little bitty blue pill, I have to take 1 twice a day until Monday and I get my blood drawn to see if my levels are on track. Then I go back July 3rd for ultrasound and blood levels and that day they will give me the exact day of transfer!! ekkkkk!!

Jess -- Welcome! I'm a Jessica too! I'm a lurker more so than I post. I'm trying to do better!!! Good Luck with your cycle!

Nicola -- So glad you had a great appt. and getting all your questions answered. I am a big worrier too and I am really trying this time to be more postive and upbeat. I read an article the other day that this one clinic did a study on how laughter affected IVF outcomes and actually had clowns and entertainment for their paitents and the ones that they entertained conceived more than the ones that they didn't. I guess it is true that laughter is the best medinice. I think I am going to rent some funny movies to watch when I am on bed rest!!

Ems1971 -- sorry you had to be around all those prego people today, its just hard isn't it. But what I find harder is loved ones that are prego, its so hard to act all happy for them when I my heart is breaking on the inside...

Paula!!! I just love your posts, they always make me smile!! So is school out!! Have fun on your staff night!! When do you go on holiday??

Rachel(lara) -- You read the same clown article that I did!!! I am with you I am going to rent funny movies for my 2ww also!! I am willing to try anything!! Hope visiting with your friend was not to hard on you.

Rileydee -- good luck with your appt. and with the shrink. Mother in law is one so I am not to fond of them!!!

Rachel -- I can't believe you broke your toe!! That so sounds like something that would happen to me!! I hope that it is not too painful for you! Gosh your trip is coming up fast, Hope you have a great time!!!

Em -- Hope you 2ww is flying by... My last cycle I did a HPT on day 7 after transfer and got a very faint positive, so then I did a test on day 8 and even did it on day 9 before I went to get my blood tested. Hee Hee! Its like they are additive!!!

I know I have missed some people and I'm sorry! Good luck to everyone and sending out lots of PMA and lots of baby dust!!
