Hi Octoberoonies,

Littles I am sorry I wasn't around to send you a big virtual hug when you needed one yesturday so please know that I am sending a huge one now. I hate that we are all having to go through this with what seems like no light at the end of the tunnel for us. I am glad that Lola and Steph were around for you and I am sure the others were here in spirit. I know what it has been like doing this hole ttc thing for 5 years i am now into the sixth year and it is so draining physically and emotionally. I say lets look onwards and upwards as I will only be a few weeks behind you as I am going back to the Dr on the 1 August to discuss and start round 3.

Lola Girl you must be nearly finished the tests and exams and then will you be focusing on getting on the round 3 life boat. I am thinking of you and sending you all my brains what is left form a little drinking adventure the other day. Two friends of mine could sence I was down so took me out and got me really drunk I think that is why I now have the flu.. Did I read right you willl be joining me in August for round 3.....

Steph what is happening with your boss you need to dish the dirt....Well i hope that his has killed another 1/2 hour at work for you... How did you appointment go. Do pregnant laies usually put weight on in the first trimester?? It is all so new to us all!

Jen how is you house selling/hunting going?? There has been no sign of you lately so that must mean your house is getting to many offers and you can't possibly log on to say hi (I hope this is the case) You may even have money left over to fly to Oz and say Hi.....Have you cancelled your op are you on the list. Do you have to have this operation first ebfore you can start round 3?

Camilla no i don't need to hold my nose anymore for the green herbs but I am starting to have my doubts about them working  I have been on the for a month now and nothing seems to have changed in either my temps or AF.

Me I still have the flu a bit but am chugging along. Still no AF although she keeps giving me signs she is on the way but still nothing (going into 3 months without her) I am making an appointment to see my Dr on the 1 August to start taking those fertility drugs we all love to get on with this baby business...Until next time take care Walshy

 Hi ho gang

Little R - I'm so sorry i've not been here to help and listen to you. Have been stuck at work. Yp not behaving and now excluded from school, no excuses though.
Please keep strong and take some time out for yourself. I desperately want a bundle of joy and my number 3 cycle to be here NOW but feel its helping me having this break. You have the years to try ahead of you and although it won't get easier we are here for you always--especially when your BFP day come. Huge hugs to you gorgeous.

Loopy - Am not impressed about slagging off my age, i feel young and sprightly. I know i'm ancient in ivf world though
So glad you your exams are over and a big PASS is on the way.

Walshy - Hope your flu is better, rest and get pampered. Yes we have another note of interest on the house and going to visit one for us tonight, i really like it. Called the hosp re op and they are going to call if a cancellation comes along. I have to have this tube out before my next cycle but am going to tell them to whip them both out, i won't be high risk of eptopic when i do get preggers

Camilla and Steph - Big hug to you both.

Mother in for tea now then off to see a house

HI girlie twirlies!

I am glad I logged on, our thread was creeping very low... i guess that's what happens when Dr. McSpy is MIA... hmm... oral exams or secret mission.. she did say she was hoppin a train.. but to where... will have to get it out of Demetrio.. who's turn is it for the tickle torture?

Loolers- I can hear your smart, technical, personable answers from here.. by why is there a thong stickin out above your skirt? and what is with the f-me pumps??

Littles- is it sunshine on my shoulder day today? I hope so bunny. Lolers has takin magi bubble hostage for orals.. she said something about needing privacy???? Is Grey's back on yet over there? That is one sure fire way to get the juicy juices flowing... where did you leave off? I can;t wait for summer to be over for so many reasons... but especially the return of Mer/Der/Finn... and McSteamy is coming back!

Walshy- Cycling again in August... Hoo-RAH! I'll raise my glass to that... I am excited for you gals to start again... let the BFP's roll! have any luck with the red river overflowin yet... or still tinges? Maybe if you jump up and down on one foot.. or is that to get water out of your ear??? Appt. was A-OK, had another ultrasound.. I am going for the world record of most photographed baby in the womb.. although evil midwife recommended a total of 15lb weight gain for the pregnancy... is she Nutters? I gain that in water weight from my periods. Although I have been lucky so far and no weight gain yet.. some women do gain weight in the first trimester.. but could be the whole "eating for 2" thinking.

jens- I have to say that from here you look young and sprightly! I will also raise my glass to a cancellation for you! Let's get this party started! Party like it's 1999... wow, was that really 7 years ago... that's crazy talk!

Cams- where to luvs... still doing house stuff? haven't gotten to mine yet.. too busy having dinners with the girls and shopping... A little personal question for you.. doc McFertile said no sex at my 7 week appt.. but I forgot to ask him before i left the clinic if it was ok now that I am 12 weeks.. the midwife said there is no proof either way whether it hurts or doesn't.. she said it is up to me... that sounds risky! Do you do the horizontal mambo? Vertical? he, he,he.

As for the waste of oxygen that is in the same office as me.. well, apparently he went into our division chief to talk about his plans for me.. and the division chief must have shot him down. I went to talk to him about it later and he did alot of double talk acting like he never said what he said and he was only refering to the lake treatments for this summer.. which is a bunch of crap because he specifically referred to the time that I would be off to have the baby... but whatever.. his supervisor straightened him out, so I don't have to. Thank god for my division chief!!

I have another ultrasound today.. when the midwife measured me she measured me 3 days shorter than Dr. F... she wants an exact date.. I dont see what the big deal is about 3 days... but I get to see the baby again.. so yipee!

Dear girls

I think I was only gone a day and so much stuff!

Little R - I completely understand how you're feeling. I think your mind pushes the negative thoughts to the forefront as a way of coping with the situation, if you know what I mean. Lola was right coz you're still young. I was 32 when we had Henry and we'd been trying for about 4 years, if that's any help. I know everyone is different but we share a common goal. I also know what you mean when you say that taking a break will be like saying enough is enough. But you have your FET coming up and although your DH will be away, we will be here every day! Hope you're feeling a bit perkier today. Lots of hugs to you.

Steph - Sssh, about to mention sex! We were told OK to do it after 12 weeks. However, and I know you don't need to know this but haven't had a huge appetite for it! Glad your boss has been told where to get off, result.

Lola and Jen - Good luck for Thursday. Lola - yes, yes, yes, so glad to hear you'll be trying acupuncture. I'm a firm believer in it.

Walshy - What can we do to make the longed for AF to arrive. Will send AF vibes your way via a little jig.

I'm sorry if I missed anything.

Love as always to my special friends.

 Hi gang

Well its D-Day tomorrow at 11am. Closing date for the house and i'll find out how much cash the bidders (all 6 of them) want to throw my way.
We have had 14 viewers and 6 notes of interest and the house has only been on the market for nearly 3 weeks, impressive eh?
Will log in tomorrow and let you know how we got on.
Went to see another house for us and it was fab but i dont really like the area  think i'm being too fussy. As Phil and Kirsty say compromise but not on the Location, Location, Location.

So i hope my little buds of loveliness are feeling ok, especially Littles.

Oh ye, i lost another 3lbs this week  Going to be nice and healthy for my Big 3, WHEN it eventually gets here

See you all tomorrow

Hola! And welcome to the rest of my life!!
I've wanted to say this for a long time.... THEY'RE OVER!!! WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :D :D :D :D
Just got back from Sheffield. Had the orals this morning and they were a surprisingly joyful hurdle to stradle. So to speak. The clinicals yesterday however were a bit ooh a bit ahh.....we'll see. Results in 3 weeks but until then I AM FREE!!!!!
So, what have i missed? Little R missing, Jen selling up, Walsh still waiting for af (where is that beatch?), Steph carousing for some multi directional love action and Cam early night with a headache.
Now jen, I am older than you so lets not get huffy. As for Kirsty and Phil - you will know when you've found the right house, if it doesn't feel right don't buy it. Let us know how you got on.
Steph I did the pumps but not the thong o the top - too much for the already sick patients to take. Can't believe how quickly your pregnancy is going, man! It's like a soap opera pregnancy.
OK, laters chicas, I'm knacked, no sleep for the last 2 nights
Mas tarde!

 Yipppeeee well done Loopy, knew you would kick some ass. Looking forward to the big Pass result in 2 week time.

Littles - How you doing babe? Hope your managing to feel a bit brighter, we are here for you honey.

Steph - MMmmmmmmmyyyyuuuuuummmmm was at Starbucks today. Have you given up the coffee? Any cravings kicking in yet?

Walshy - Your hubby has been very good at keeping in touch will Steve, a bit of male bonding never hurt eh? Brilliant news about your next cycle date, we will be rooting for you all the way.

Camilla - How it going? Have you been suffering with the heat down there now you have more weight to carry around?

Well 11am came and went and now i'm richer. The highest bidder put in £20,000 over the asking price so we are well pleased. Now i know how much money i can play around with for our house---when one ever appears. The survey gets done tomorrow and then we negotiate the entry date. They wanted in for 15 Aug  my op is the 16th so we said no. Will hold out for longer so we have time to look for a house but at least we are in a better position to buy now. Took the For Sale sign down, the curtains will be twitching as the neighbours will be amazed we have sold it in 2 weeks and 2 days hahahaha.

Popped into the garage about my mini and it's been built and painted and is due to be delivered a week earlier  . Roll on next week, hope there is some sun so i can go for a cruise and pose

It seems quiet here, are you all working too hard? Am on a s/o again tomorrow so will catch up with you all on Saturday.

Love and hugs Jen x

Good, didn't log on yesterday and not much to catch up on! Except of course, Lola's free, hooray and Jen has done the biz with her house (is it a house or flat?).

Jen - I think it will all fall into place for you. Op on 16th (Aug?), move after that and then we know what's next on the list! Would you rent somewhere if you can't find your dream house now?
Yes, it is a bit hot for me and starting to get tired again and breathless even going up the stairs!

Lola - Well done, kick back for the next couple of weeks. But I'm sure you don't need any encouraging!

Steph, Walshy and Little R - Hello out there, enjoy the weekend.

As is usual probably won't be logging on for weekend but I'll be back!

Love to you.

My dearest Octopals...I have been reading through your comments.

Thank you for all being there for me and encouraging me.

I am feeling a bit better now... I am still waiting for AF and she's a little late, but I guess nothing to worry about as all the pre-menstrual symptoms are there: irritability, tearfulness, zits, and a little cramping from time to time...so I am waiting patiently

DH came home yesterday and left today for another 6 days for Melbourne/Auckland, hence he didn't have time to post on the male buddies group. Please excuse him!
I am looking for things to keep me busy in the meantime  and not necessarily boring stuff either

Lola, congrats...your new life begins. You must be so thrilled and am sure that you aced your exams. You must be feeling so free and happy at the moment. Given our time difference, you're probably still sleeping away enjoying some fanciful dreams    Good for you! I trust you'll be living it up this weekend, you party animal

Jen, wow.... you're my hero.... you certainly are a busy bee and a determined little business woman  Shamelessly rich and can have the pick of your dream house now. Bring on the good stuff.... how exciting, a new home! Well done...Have made a note of your op date. Great news about the mini...you will be having lots and lots to smile about soon!

Walshy.... so what's up with the wicked witch.... we will have to jig around to make her come...and mine at the same time! Hang in there...good luck with your leafy drink  BTW, how's your kitchen coming along? More DIY stuff around the house?

Steph, time flies and before you know it, it will be January and you will have met your little bump. It's true, your pregnancy seems to be flying along  Glad your "inferior" was put in his place... what a nasty little piece of work...

Camilla, take care of yourself ... avoid the stairs  how's little Henry doing? Is he excited about the baby?

Much love to you all,

Will check back later but it's the weekend for you guys so I guess you'll be living it up away from the site

Still no sign of AF, but feels like it is just there.... hmm, obviously it doesn't compare to your long long wait, Walshy.... it's really annoying, isn't it? and typical
The nurse did say that if it didn't come by Tuesday, I should go in for a scan.

I wish it would hurry up so that I could start this FET asap.... as in the case I don't get a BFP, I am getting on a plane and headed back to CH to enjoy some family fun time away from the blistering heat... the longer I have to wait in this heat, the worse I will feel

Although, I really can't complain because the temps are not too bad today...around 40°C only.

DH is gone for a little while so he came up with a plan that I do something new each day.... and it can be anything  . I have to report back to DH when he gets home  So today, I took the car and went to this new shopping mall which has a huge electronics store (as I am looking for a Micro Hi-Fi) and IKEA. I looked at a couple of items, but nothing really amazing caught my eye. It was nice to discover somewhere new.... particularly as I got completely lost on the way back and ended up in the opposite direction and in rush hour traffic  It was fun though...tomorrow not sure what the plan is....depending on the temps, may visit a city about 100 miles from here.
We shall see....

I hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend... I am planning to read, nap and watch a film....in that order

Take care,

Love,

Dear Girls

I know, not like me to post at the weekend but the boys are out and I have the afternoon to myself!

Little R - Glad to hear you're feeling more up. C'mon wicked AF! Your excursions sound a good idea and if you're going from air conditioned car to air conditioned building it's OK. You're right, everyone's probably kicking back. I have said to myself that I will find a film to watch and give myself a manicure, oh and phone a friend that I've been meaning to speak to for ages. I've hidden the ironing! Yes, Henry is looking forward to a baby actually appearing but hoping for a brother (we don't know what we're having!). Once again, hope you're visitor arrives!

Jen - Thanks for filling me in on the details of your flat. I like to have all the facts!

Walshy - Keep grazing on the grass!

Lola - Have another drink.

Steph - Stay crazy.

Speak to you tomorrow.
