Scan Result

had my 1st scan today......


we have 2 sacs....both with heartbeats......1 sac was clear and the other cloudy...doctor said it may be filled with blood and might not survive but he said that another scan next week will determine what may happen... i might miscarry and i might not.... the heartbeat in the cloudy sac was beating just as well as the one in the clear sac.....i wasnt given any pictures and he didnt tell me what the heart rates were...all he said was they were same size.....

im over the moon but im a little scared......has anyone else been in my situation but progressed with twins???

Sorry, haven't been in your situation so i can't imagine what you are feeling. You must have mixed emotions at the moment, but you must have been relieved at seeing the heartbeats - congratulations on that.

Try not to worry too much - think positive and good lck

That is incredible!!!
How amazing- and I am sure it must feel very bitter sweet but I am just amazed that you saw 2 little hearts a'beating and I will say some big prayers for them right now....

WOW thats fantastic you were able to hear both heartbeats! how special, i know you are worried about the cloudy sac but dont be worried just leave it up to GOD. He knows whats best for that lovely little sac...

Enjoy the fact that they have wonderful heartbeats.....

btw...what was your beta number?

i never had any bloods taken after my positive....my clinic provides a pregnancy test, then after your positive you are sent a scan appointment...

any news on your scan appointment???

i didnt hear heartbeats just got to see them flicker..... mabye next week if the sac thats cloudy improves....mabye i will get to hear them and get a picture of them.....

About hearing the heartbeat, i think that happens around 12 weeks.. not sure if one can hear them earlier..

patience is not my strongest point!!!!!
my next scan is thursday 6th july at 8am..... my clinic is and hour and a half drive away....

i hope and pray everything is good and they discharge me to my own community midwife centre....

hope everyone is fine...

I thought it was about 16 weeks I'd hear the heartbeat but I saw my midwife today at 14 weeks and I heard it today. It was the most amazing thing! Plus I heard a clunk and the midwife said 'thats the baby kicking!'
I felt bad that I had left my hubby at home! I thought it was too early to hear!
