Pain after Retrieval?

Have any of you experienced abdominal pain after egg retrieval that wasn't related to OHSS (hyperstimulation). I had the procedure Monday with mild bloating and pain - it's been two days and getting worse. I'm not gaining weight which is what they told me to watch for but I'm more bloated now and the pain is worse - especially when I press on it at all. (I know, don't press on it then, hahahaha)

I've called the doctor to check in and now feeling stupid for not calling earlier - I'm starting to panic! Any advice????

Hi racquel. I had cramping and bloating for about 4-5 days after the ER. Sounds like what you are experiencing is normal - so I wouldn't worry .

Thanks Lisa - they checked me out and I have a mild case of OHSS - as long as fluid doesn't leak into my abdomen or whatever we're clear for the ET tomorrow so I am relieved! Lesson learned - listen to our bodies and call the dr. if we're concerned, don't be afraid your just a hypochondriac.

I was in the office trying to catch up on some work today, but back to bed I go (gladly!) Thanks for your support
