Hi JP,
Since I am on the heavier side, the doctor prescribed a GTT(glucose tolerance test) for me- it is also prescribed if one of the grandparents(of the baby to be) is diabetic..
What they do is ask you to come at any particular time of the day( i was asked to come on an empty stomach in the morning),
they take your blood and test it for sugar.
Then theygive you a sugary drink and ask you to come every half hour to give your blood and test it for sugar..
You would probably have to spend about 2-3 hours in hospital that day, just giving a pin prick of blood every half hour..
This was my experience- i dont know if they do it differently where you live..

Hope your babies are jumping around and kicking you well!!

hugs,
