I'm exactly half way through my 2WW on my first cycle, and am having a hard time. I was able to keep a PMA through yesterday, but for some reason today I feel like part of me knows it's not good news. I'm trying to stay focused on the good, and was hoping to hear some encouraging stories about first cycles that had a happy ending.

Thanks for sharing!
Dear Catherine

I am also on my 2ww, this is my 2nd cycle.

You have to stay focus, it is not over until its over, so keep thinking positive, it is hard I know, when it is what we all want so much!

When do you take your test?

Wishing you lots of love and luck

Marteen
xxx
hi girls,

and just for continuity i am cycle number 3 and due to test next week! guess that doesnt help you wanting to hear from first time positives but wondered if we were testing similar times?

luv fi
Hi Catherine

Just to give you hope (hopefully), we got a positive on our first cycle of IVF (ICSI). I had no symptoms at all in the 2WW so was hugely surprised to get a positive but our 17 month old twins are the proof of it! Good luck with it all - we're just weighing up when it's best to go again.

Jules
TTC 5 years. Daniel & Charlotte born 22.03.02, 1st ICSI treatment. TTC for 4 further years. 2nd ICSI cycle abandoned, 3rd cycle BFN. Looking forward to being a happy family of 4.
Dear Catherine
I was 1st Time positive,I was continually sick from the day after ET until week 22,My boy is 6 and a half now had three go's since but they have not ended in a positive outcome.Just waiting to have another LAST attempt we see the consultant on the 11th September ,So will await to see what he says.
Not everyone gets symptons most people who conceive naturally(lucky buggers) do not know they are pregnant until they are about 4/6 weeks pregnant,so it really means nothing.Just keep calm until you have to test then you will know for sure.
Good luck.
Wishing you all the very besk of luck.

Jane
xxxx
Catherine,

Me and Jules are about the same....1st go on ICSI and our twins are 15 months old now...

I was sure my af was coming on in my 2ww from about day 9-10 in fact was so convinced it hadn't worked went out the night before the blood test and had wine and fags...ooops!!! I relaxed the whole 2ww and watched sloppy videos and read loads of books...ate like a horse and looked what happened. I totally beleive the less stress you have the better.

Good Luck
Nicky
Dear Catherine,

Please try and stay positive, I truely know how your feeling, as we have all felt the same!

I have been so very lucky, I tested positive on my first attempt of IVF (ICSI), and my son is now 8 months old. When I went through my cycle, I felt no different so I was so convinced that it hadn't worked. When I did my 6th test I still didn't feel pregnant, it was only when I got to 8 wks I began to feel sick. But if I had not seen a strong heart beat I would not have believed I was pregnant! Try and relax and stay positive (I know easier said than done!!). We all have our fingers crossed for you.

Good Luck

Rachie xxxxxx
Hi Catherine

I was also lucky and got a positive on our 1st ICSI attempt last year - unfortunately I lost that baby, but was also lucky on our 2nd attempt and am now 33 wks pregnant with twins!

So, it can work 1st time and each time for some people so stay positive!!

Good luck,

Luv Rachel X
