My CMV test was negative, which means even more donors available, honestly i dont really understand it but ive been called by the clinic who say I could be able to buy 10 strraws of sperm and then go with 10 more iui;s or save extra for child no2 but just waiting for them to call back about if there is a match for us, now they know i am cmv negative....

Lisa are u ok? Has AF arrived when do u have 1st bloods??

Yes I agree it is very quiet on here lately. Hope everyone is OK.?

Gail - I too had a cyst on my last cycle, they told me they would prob have to cancel tmt, but when I went in a week later, the cyst had gone and it was a bloody big one. Glad yours was the same and it decided to bugger off so you can get on with your FET. Wow Tuesday, can't believe how quick it has come round. Don't you be worrying, your little embie is a fighter and when he/her is transferred they will be getting all snuggly for the next 9 months. I will be thinking about you.

Julie - You poor thing, hope you are feeling better hun.? Glad you still enjoyed hol and liked the place you stayed.....! Not sure about your work issue, depends how long you been there, if its over so long they have to pay you redundancy but if co has gone bust not sure what happens.! I do know though you SHOULD NOT sign a letter of resignation, that is there way out of not paying you redundancy, they can use that then.! Similar thing happened to my boyfriend, he didn't sign the letter and DID end up getting his redundancy money....!

Nicki - Hope you get some good news about a match - keep your chin up love.... let us know what clinic say when they phone you.

Hello to Lola, MLG, Kate and anyone else I've missed.!

As for me nothing much to report - wish I was back at my mums, miss her even more now, yesterday was having a really bad day and honest I could of quite easily got on a plane and gone to her............! I have an interview on Friday, I am dreading it already. I am crap at interviews. As for tmt, can't do anything until Oct, so it’s just a waiting game for me now. Decided to go with the clinic I have been going with and if I get a neg then I'll go to CARE in Manchester. But hopefully I won't have to.!

It's quite yes, I agree too, but I guess its summer and so many people are out and about etc.....

I dont offen post, well not like i used to, thats coz DH gets home before me and often is on the pc before i get chance to get on and then when he does come off, I am usually tired and ready to relax.

But I am always about somewhere, I love this site, its a life line to me, during this hell journey of trying get preg.

I am so hoping to cycle next month, keep ya fingers X'ed for me!!!

started new co today. seem friendly, just feels wierd. gone from 40 staff to over 600!!!!. mentioned my forthcoming tmt to personnel earlier and blubbed like a loon but everything ok so glad i did. arm bit better but still can't drive and may be 2 more weeks!!!! YIKES

Amazingly my embryo has survived the thaw, the odds were not great for it, but it has proved to be a little fighter ET is at 11.45 then its the lovely 2ww.

Julie that must be so hard not being able to drive, glad your slowly on the mend though That is one hell of a jump in staff! Sound like your Personnel department are nice and understanding which is definately a big bonus.

Nicki I so hope that you can cycle next month, have you heard anymore from the clinic yet?

Julie- you poor soul..it's a painful thing a broken collar bone...and being unable to drive is a nightmare...Make sure you eat lots of zinc and calcium foods as they help promote healing of bones ( or take solgar ( good quality make) suppliments of the above)...Glad your new job has started and it's goot to be open with everyone...less stress. enjoy the rest of the week...Will you wait until healed before starting tmt? what date have you in mind? Must be so excited...

Nicki- not long until your time is here agaion...it sounds all aokay and positive with your tests and even more swimmers for 2nd child Excellent

Lucy...how are you Honey? I too will probably be going around Oct/Nov for next cycle. I am still waiting for my review apoinment with the NHS consultant and then we can see where we are at....Sorry you are missing your mUm she must be such a good support for you Big hugs...Having the weight of an interview will be pressuring you too. Make sure you remind yourself about all your good points before you go in....boost your self esteem...remember that everyone is nervous and fluffs at least 2 or 3 things in an interview...you are Great we all think so...[color=red]GO GIRL get that JOB!!!!![/color]

Last week was a stressful night mare and i was stuck in the mist of putting finishing touches to our house as well as putting in an offer on the Barn we like iUp north. Our went on the market yesterday and i have had 5 viewings and one survey...it's crazy here...On the barn we are STILL awaiting news of acceptance. Bloody solicitors and estate agents are not very good at communication!!!! Hate all this stress...My M.S. has taken a nose dive with all the stress so in a lot of pain with eys and walking and am constantly tired...i am sure it will all pass when the stress subsides.... I also have my leaving do at work next thurs....it has brought up a lot of emotion, as well as leaving family and friends, and the first AF after BFN....all are pushing my grief and loss buttons...Ah well it's better out than in eh!!! at least to hide my weeping eyes my sunglasses don't look out of place with the weather...

Sorry I haven't been on much lately. Have spent far too much time away and not much time at home Dh's mum broke her ankle last week so we spent the whole of the weekend visiting her. Dh's dad is still in hospital (that's 5 weeks now) and its looking slim as to whether he will ever walk again ..... major implications on what will happen then as the house isn't suitable for a wheelchair Never rains but it pours eh?
Jeni sorry your MS is playing up. Hope your resting up. Keeping everything crossed for you about the barn - all good things come to those who wait. You'll see !

Lucy - glad your rested after the trip to your mum's. I love seeing my mum and spending time with her. I always hate when I have to leave. Mine is coming through to stay this weekend. No doubt we'll go shopping as my mum love shopping more than I do!!
Well I start bloods on Thursday for IUI next week. Probably on Monday or Tuesday. Can't believe its finally here!

I got a letter from the health board saying that they would fund one cycle iui in Darlington - great news apart from the fact that we are now having treatment locally. So I asked them if they could just fund my bumper 10 cycles for £1000 locally as opposed to the £1300 they were going to pay for one cycle. You guessed it, they said no. I went a bit mental and wrote a stinking e mail saying that dh and I are being discriminated against. The director of Public Health (main man !) called me to explain why. Its such a lame excuse I won't even bore you with the details. To cut a long story short he is going to contact the unit for more info - there may be the tiniest of chances we might get re imbursed but I'm not hopeful. So only one more week til first IUI for me!! We have chosen our donor and he is a student (zoology) who likes "creative writing" , football and music!!

Well I'm off home now then out for a jog. I have been so out of the way of exercise lately - want to get myself in tip top shape for being a mum (hey check out my PMA tonight !!)

Got some great news!!!!!

We have a Donor!!!! Yeah!!!!

Lisa, We are doing the same as you bought 10 straws for £1000, and then the clinic will storage them for 12mths, at £300.

Then we pay the clinic £500 for each iui cycle and then pay the HFEA thei fee, think it;s still £51, so now we do the same and cycle month afetr mth until BFP, we cycle in Aug, however Sept we are on hols so might not be able to that month but definatly for Oct, Nov and Dec...Unless it falls over Xmas, as our clinic closes for Xmas....

I am so happy, however the condition with this sperm is that it's only used with iui and not ivf.....

Work is a mare, was in buckets today . It is as if we are all grieving!! Madness I know but 35 of us moved and none of us are together as they have 4 buildings so very alien and no-one talks!!!!! Odd. Good firm tho so hope improves.....

Collarbone still knackered. Got fracture clinic review on 24th so hoping I will be mended by then.

You will see from my ticker I am still waiting for the NHS to contact me...hopefully will hear soon and I will be joining you on the rollercoaster!!

Can't believe we are doing exactly the same - will be great to have you as cycle buddy!! As our Af was due same day we might end up doing everything exactly the same days - weird huh? We'll I really dont know what to do about takin clomid now, I have been thinking about and reaidng about it and all it does is make u ovulate, well, I do ovulate ok and thats not a issue so should I take it, i dont want to F*** my body up and since having this reflexology my cycles have been perfect, i am on day 10 now and already know ovulation is happening, the CM i have is mega stretchy and slippery, TMI i think but i know u understnd, when i see that I am so happy to know everything is in working order.....
So should i take clomid if i have no obvious issues, I am thinking not now!!
Also ive read that it thins the lining and makes it hard to implant a embryo, so even if it makes u ovualte whats the point if it cant imbed in the endo lining huh??? Also increases the risk of miscarriges,
Do u see where i am coming from???
Parhaps I wont take it and see what happens........

Gotta go Big brother is on shortly and i am so sad i need to watch it!!! LOL!!
