Helpful Books on IVF

Post by Niccymc »

:D Hi there,

This is my second time round with IVF but would love to get a book on the whole IVF procedure - do's/dont's, what might help or not - I have the Zita West book and although it is very helpful I feel this time round I would like a specific book on the whole thing.

Can anyone help???

Due to start down regging about 24th July ...........................

Take care

I am reading "A Few Good Eggs", by Julie Vargas and Maureen Regan. It is about infertility in general including IVF. Not sure if this is the type of book you would be interested in, but it is light hearted and told from the viewpoint of two women who have been where we are. It's bringing me lots of comfort.

The best to you!

I thought A PATIENT's GUIDE TO IVF-_EVRYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO ....was helpful. I don't remember who the author is and I am not at home right now to look--found a copy on E-Bay, but also on Amazon too.

Thanks very much patientIVFpatient for the recomedation will go onto amazon right now and order it. Have looked at a few but never know if it worth it. Everyone always recommends Zita West and I have her first book and recently bought her knew one but it is exactly the same but with no pictures so I'm sending it back!!!!

Thanks for your support souris. There might be a bit of a hitch with the start date but hopefully by next week that will be resolved. Bloody rules and regulations with NHS funding - but I should be grateful I don't have to pay!
