Jeck - I hope you are feeling well soon. I ended up sick right b4 this last cycle. I took the antibiotic they gave me to use b4 my retrieval and it worked wonders : )

Jo - many prayers for a bfp for you : )

Nicola - How are you doing?

Wendy - I really enjoyed acupuncture. I used it two IVFs ago. It was extremely relaxing. Best of luck to you ; )

Lara- the price of drugs is something! Do you have insurance to help out?

Thanks for asking about our family : ) My father in law goes in for a Pet Scan and MRI to see how far the cancer has spread on the 12th, same day as my pregnancy test. Hopefully, we will both get positive results!

Hi, Girls,im so excited AF finally arrived today,called the clinic,and my first blood test is next saturday,then daily until they detect a surge in my hormone level,then take it from there,i feel like iv waited forever for this cycle to start,im not sure if i can take a disappointment again,any way me and DP are off to do the shopping,will post later..Hope youre all doing great,and full of PMA (i need some of that myself!!!)..Lots of love and baby dust..Nicola...xxxx

Lara312 & Wendy-- I have done accupunture with this cycle and found it to be soooo relaxing, have no idea if it will work or not but I thought it sure couldn't hurt!!! Plus I always feel so good and in such a great mood after a session!!

Hi girls
I see a lot of you talking about blood tests to check levels etc...
I was wondering why i haven't had any blood tests at all during this cycle. Aren't i supposed to know my fsh level by now to make sure it's under 10. Due for egg retrival approx next wednesday. I'm sure my clinic know what they're doing but i just worry incase they forgot that part.

I'm such a worry wart

Hi Girls....Wendy,im sure every clinic is different but after my baseline scan,i had a few scans to check my follies were growing,but dont worry,im sure your clinic know exactly what theyre doing,although i absolutely love these boards,theres so much different advice and info,your head starts to spin!!!! Jeck,im probably being a total nut job,but i feel such an affinity with you,its probably because wre both going through a FET at roughly the same time,i just cant wait for your BFP...Well ladies im sitting with a bottle of wine,having a glass or two,just need to chill because when i start the blood tests and things i wont touch a drop!!! UPDATE and C/P

I just got back from my ER.. It went well.. I was totally under and felt nothing... Te worst part was wetting the IV in my hand...

He got 12 eggs total.. and thinks we will have 8 or 9 good ones...

I am very very mildly sore now.. mostly just sleepy and a little weak..

and starving.. lol DH went out to get me some food.. so that wont be long...

Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers..

Now we just pray for fertalization and healthy babies... I will transfer Tuesday.. but they will call me tomorrow with the fertalization update....

Had another u/s today and set ER date for Wednesday. They had been saying that they thought it would be Tuesday....I haven't even had to take any meds [except Lupron] for the past two nights, and don't have to before Wednesday either [of course, I will do trigger shot]. Don't know why its Wednesday not Tuesday....oh well more time to prepare--I talked to them about it today and they said they give me pain meds so I won't feel a thing, but that I would be awake the whole time--I'd rather be out!!

Been in everyday this week--finally have a day off tomorrow. They have been doing a blood test everyday. Back Monday morning to talk about trigger shot and have another u/s---geez--lots of them lately!!

Nicola - Congrats on the arrival of AF. For me, it is all a whirlwind until the EC and ET. Of course the 2WW is a little more drawn out, but even that eventually comes around! Shopping therapy - I have been way too much of that lately. I had quit working out during my past two cycles as the doctors said it messes with your hormones. Needless to say, I went from being fairly thin to a chunky monkey : )

Wendy - the levels they were checking for me with each ultrasound were my estradial levels. I believe they do this partially to determine if you have ovulated. My last cycle was actually cancelled, the day b4 my retrieval because my E levels dropped meaning I ovulated. But I am sure your drs. know what they are doing. Worry not : )

Jordan - 12 eggs, that is great! Good luck with your transfer and let your hubby pamper you. You deserve it!

Tonia - My prayers go out to you for next Wednesday. You have been very lucky not to have to do many shots : ) They are probably waiting an extra day to let your eggs mature. Best of luck to you!

My DH and I are off to dinner. Taking my mom out to thank her for cleaning my house during bedrest time after the transfer.

Nicola--Thanks, I know I feel the same

I guess were the only ones doing FET!! I am having so many emotions!! I want it to work so bad but I am so afraid of another loss, but I will never know unless I try!

Tonia--12!!! WooHoo!!!!! I am holding my breathe with you till you find out how your wee ones are growing!! You will be transfering 2 days before me!!! eeeekkkkkk

Amanda--WooHoo I am so excited that you are ready for ER, you will have lots of marbles for them to collect!!!

Michelle--Have you or anyone else put on weight?!?!? I probably have gained 10lbs since I started my 1st IVF in January!! I have always been thin and weight have never really fluctuated!! I told my hubby that if I get a BFP I will most likely have to get maternity closes right away because I can't fit another pound in the paints that I have now!!

That would be a great problem!!!

Gosh everything is getting exciting for all of us!!!

Hi All,

I just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone. This thread sure does move quickly with so many of us doesn't it!

Thanks for everyone's good wishes, I'll be sure to update after our scan tomorrow, I'm so hopeful that we will get a positive result tomorrow and be allowed to continue to EC!

Congrats on a great EC Tonia and Jordan, and hooray for AF's arrival Nicola. I must say that I had never looked forward to AF arriving, and it seems so odd to be waiting for her wretched arrival when we're approaching IVF - to me at least!

I hope I haven't missed anyone, but am sure I have - apologies!

Have a great day everyone, and hopefully I'll be back with some happy news tomorrow!

Hi Ladies,

I'm having a great time visiting all my family and friends, i can't believe the 2 weeks is almost up and we fly home again on Tuesday. It's all gone so fast and also taken my mind off the IVF, apart from the jabs.

I'm glad to read that all is going so well for you all, there are so many of us now i can hardly keep up with it all, as i'm missing days.........

I will have to catch up properly when i get back home.

Well AF finally arrived 3 days late and my DH gave me my first Estrodiol Valerate jab on Friday, he done a fantastic job, he was so nervous, and scared that he would hurt me, but he didn't, he done it perfectly. I'M SO PROUD OF HIM.

I have my US next Thursday, and fingers crossed it will all be ok for the transfer on the 20th.

Jeck, I'm a FET too............ Hope you feel better soon.

Rachel-- I am so glad you are having a great time and keep your mind occupied. LOL sorry I missed you on the FET!!! Your right there has gotten to be so many of us I can't keep up or keep it staight

Rileydee--Thanks for the well wishes and the prayers!! I went on and called the dr on Friday and got a baby friendly antibiotic, I'm glad I did because I felt better the next day, so maybe I caught it in time. I have to be careful because I have a lung disease, the little hairs in my lungs don't work, which you have those little hairs in your fallopian tubes also and they could never tell me if those would be affected or not. So we tried naturally and got our ectopic baby... So they recommended for us to do IVF. So here we are!!
Sorry about your meltdown, I've had a couple of those. I just think we are all going thru so much that it all just builds up!!!

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for your good wishes, we got pretty good news today.

My scan showed that my horrid cyst hasn't grown - hooray!

The scan also showed heaps and heaps of little follies @ about 7mm. Dr is concerned that I look likely to have OHSS ovaries, so he is keeping my Gonal F dose low (150), and he has started me on metformin.

Dr has said he thinks I might be in for a long slow haul this cycle - not sure what he really means by this, maybe that I will be stimming for a while?

Anyway, next appointment is Thursday - we're moving forward - HOORAY!
