7 weeks,no heart beat

hi.....well to day did not turned out to be how we expected ...
we whent for our u/s and the doctor did not found an heart beat yet...
he told us that the sac grew from the last time ,he also found the yolk
but that it....ho boy.....when he told me that i started to have a cold swet
i felt like my blood left my body.....so right now we're so worried....
we had to take the day off from work....
this is a complete agony......but then i was reading some treads on the message board that there is pepole that had/have our same problem
and for some of them the scan (7weeks) is just to early....
anyway next monday we have to go back to the clinic for an other scan...

hmmm and we thought that the 2ww is a long time

but first we need to wait for today(hcg) blood results hopping that the level did not dropped

Hi Tony,

Sorry to read your post. A similar thing happened to me last year although when I was scanned, our embryo hadn't developed any further than five and a half weeks.
So if yours has grown, that should be a good sign I think. Sometimes a heartbeat isn't always detected at 7 wks. My hospital doesn't do it til nearly 8 wks.

Hey Tony

Im so sorry you guys were disappointed today... I AM SURE IT WILL BE OK NEXT WEEK..The embryo could have implanted later. Please dont give up hope stay positive and just pray... Prayer is the only thing that keeps me from becoming a night mare...

My ultrasound was good, thank God i will be going back in two weeks, but my doctor got on my nerves he was so quick, he just said good you are pregnant and he said there is a heartbeat and before i could say anything he was out of the room...considering i paid 350 dollars for a 5 min visit i was ticked off because i had a bunch of questions. i have no idea how the heart beat is...nothing he just said good and left ... im

at him but happy with the outcome.

Oh Tony i really wish you guys had good news today, i hope her beta numbers are really good at least that will give you a peace of mind.

you hang in there.. everyone is different. and sometimes it is hard to hear there little heartbeats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know it is pointless to say but i am going to say it any ways
try not to worry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is horrid thou that they are going to make you wait another month. cant they do anoter scan sooner?
when i was going to spokane wa they had me in there every wk for the first 8 wks. so we got to see our little ones alot..

I've been keeping up with your posts since you first came on board. I always thought that all of us should be lucky to have a husband like you. I am so sorry to hear your news and I know that it is nerve wrecking. I had a similar experience a year and half a go. Please stay prayerful. I will keep you and DW in my prayers.

hi DolceVita...so happy to hear from you,actually today i was thinking about you...good for you....doctors...well this is old news,they have the power to make us feel miserable ....but don't worry step 2 is done....welldone

ogr1 ...hi there...no is not an other month is 1 week from today,,,but yea it shure feel's like a month

hi is me again.....
finally the avf nurse called back and she sayed that the level of the hcg is at 15724 and raising....so i think that so far we have a chanse.....
hooooo this is killing meeeeeee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even when they give us tiny hope we get so much relief... I hope monday will come around really quick!

Read the thread name and had to come and see what had happened.

Was so sad to read the top of the post but it is great news that levels are rising.

Hi Tony!

I am sure that if the levels are rising, everything is fine. Sometimes the babies hide and it is hard to find the heartbeat! Did they call someone else to double check? someone not properly train could miss the HB or have difficulties finding it!
