Hi Lisa, thanks!
I will also have my first scan on 24 July 2006. Same as you. Wish best luck to both of us. I do not have obvious symptoms of pregnancy, my skirts just seem tighter. DH told me not to tell our relatives or friends yet. We plan to visit my O&G doc. only after the 1st scan. How are you doing?

So, I've learned to stay away from the pee pee test!

Jess, Lisa, Jo, Sasa and Keisha - Congratulations to you all!! I went back to work last week and have been so tired I haven't even logged in to check email or this board, forgive me for being such a flake.
Welcome to all the other new members - baby dust to you all!
I had ET done on 6/29 and first blood test today shows BFP!! estrogen level 1611 and HCG is a whopping 405! Can't believe it, DH and I are so excited! Knew it was good news when I heard the doctor was calling, he says levels are so high there's a high likelihood both embies took! I've been really tired - was restless during bedrest the 5 days after ET and now you can hardly get me out of bed! We have a couple more tests to verify results over the next 2 weeks and I'll feel more secure after our 1st sono, and of course as long as we make it through the first trimester, but so far, so good!! Boy are we blessed/lucky that we live in an age where IVF is possible!
DH and I said we weren't going to tell anyone .. but of course we were so overcome we've already told the world. So hope we don't run into any major complications...
Super baby glue to all! take care, Racquel

Wow-Congratulations to all of the BFP's! I am sooooo happy for all of you. I hope you can send all of your positive energy and prayers our way!
Leanne- I am very sorry for your BFN. It never gets easy, does it?
I started stims on Saturday. I am taking Bravelle and Menapur. They burned in my tummy, so I moved to my thigh. It doesn't burn there. I feel like I have slight pains, but they come and go. I have a scan scheduled for Wed. I am hoping some good things are happening in there!
Good luck to everyone! Sticky thoughts and baby dust....LM
IM - it is usually easier if you rotate where you inject. Below the belly button or the sides of your tighs. Usually if it stings it is because you have caught a small blood vessel, brusing can sometimes be because there may be a little bit clogged up - that's why it's best to alternate where you go. It is sometimes less painful if you don't insert so slowly (not saying that you are!). I hope this helps - I'm an insulin dependant diabetic so have to injection four times a day!
Best of luck
Jo

Thanks for the tips Jo. I am now giving the Lupron in my tummy and the stims in my thighs. I am a slow injector...I can't help it. I don't even feel the needle it is the actual med.
