The exact thing happend to me. i got to ec, they got 20 eggs 15 fertilised and were frozen cause of ohss. this was my fist time. i officially hd my first transfer on the 6th june, it work 1st time and we are expecting twins i am no 7 weeks 1 day and counting.
I had a FET in June after an unsuccessful fresh IVF (BFN). I had 3 blasts frozen out of that. Two of them were transferred on June 1st and I got a BFP. I am 8W3d now. Was able to see a heartbeat 2 weeks back and going back tommorrow for another U/S. Hope everything will be fine.
I have been reading your posts and seems like you have gone through a lot. Just relax and get ready for the FET. Honestly FET was very easy for me with minimal medication. I also did Accupuncture which helped me a lot. And finally just pray and am sure your time will come soon.
Take care and be positive. I know a lot of people who have got BFPs with FET.
Thank you so much Angel baby, Praying, Langton & Sue e.
It is so reassuring to hear that all of you had positive experiences. I am really nervous but hopeful. I hope and pray that God blesses my DH and me. We are trying for 4 years now.
As they say, when the time is right... things will happen.
Did you have to take alot of medication for FET ? Was it just the down regulating meds or something else ?
Love ,
Sita

For me it was just estradiol tablets from day 3 of my period. A few others just for 4 days b4 transfer and ofcourse PIO shots. I am still continuing the estradiol and PIO shots. I just had to go twice for my U/S b4 the transfer to check the uterus lining and then they scheduled the day. So honestly it was very less stress for me...not to worry about # of eggs...# being fertlized etc etc.....
I am in the US so that was the protocol for me. Am not sure about other coutries. I have seen different protocols for FET in different clinics.
You can talk to your clinic just to get an idea....
I also forgot to mention that I am 34 and we have been TTC for 6 years with any number of failed clomid and IUI cycles, 2 failed IVFs....
So u r much younger and am sure things will be great for you. All the very best...
My FET cycle was very simple with hardly and medication, 11 days after my af i started doing ovulation tests and when my LH surge was detected i rung the clinic and 2 days later i went in for my transfer. The hardest part was waiting to hear how many of my 3 embryos survived the thaw (all 3 did). after ET i asked to take progesterone and did so for the first 12 weeks, that was the only medication involved for me. To do a unmedicated cycle people have to have regular periods.
hope this helps

I had my 1st IVF(ICSI) cycle in April and got BFN. I suffered severe abdominal cramp after EC and ET. I guess it was OHSS. I had to stay in bed for a couple of days. 4 embries were frozen.
In this FET, 2 embries were thawed and both survived and put back. I am now waiting for the 1st scan.
This is a natural FET cycle. I had my blood tested everyday from the 11th day after AF. When they detected the peak of the hormone surge for ovulation, they told me to go back for ET after 3 days. I have not taken another medication. There were only two injections made, one shot immediately after ET and one shot 1 week after ET. They did not give me any more injection after I have got BFP. My clinic just told me to come back after 2 weeks for the 1st scan to detect the heart beats.

Hi Sita
Good luck with the transfer. You have a good strong chance with the Frozen embryo. At my clinic they cite lower than fresh rates partly just due to the fact that the quality of embyros which they freeze on average are of poorer quality than fresh ones (as they always take the best ones for fresh transfer) so if you already have good embryos, its a good chance already.
I had successful FET with one embryo transferred, survived thawing with 25% cell damage. The FET was much easier as I had no meds at all, and was able to relax a whole lot more throughout that whole months.
I really wish you all the best. There are lots of success stories! Sending you lots of baby dust and a hug.

Hi there..its me again....and yes I did accupuncture along with my FET. I just 3 sessions before the transfer. My accupuncturist was a great lady taking personal care of me like my mom....I loved and her and used to relax a lot...I think that helped to a great extent.....
I think it definetely helps....I have seen a lot of successes lately with accupuncture....
I have just had 1 embryo transfered after being frozen and am on my 2ww. It is so good to hear success stories and i am sooo pleased for everyone with positive results. We had 15 collected and 9 fertilized but i had ohss so all had to be frozen unfortunatly only4 survived defrosting and 1 was healthy enough to be transfered so was getting upset thinking i have no hope. however reading about succeses with 1 transfer really helps. thank you
