Whats up ladies!

Rachel- Good for DH!! Mine does a great job too, but he wasn't nervous. He gave me mine on friday and everyone before that was easy. I wouldn't feel a thing. On friday he inserted the needle and did the pull back to see if he hit blood. No blood. But on the way out he must of have nicked something, cause I started bleeding like crazy. I have a big ole bruise now. But He normally does a great job. That great you gotten to visit family and friends. Good Luck!!

Jeck- Thanks for your support! I'm so happy you are feeling better.

Suzanne- That is such good news. I'm so happy that cyst is cooperating. I hope the OHSS stays under control for you. Good Luck!

Good luck to everyone else!!!

Hi Girls
Just to update, had my second scan today to check how many follies from stimming. Didn't do so well on friday so they increased my meds over the weekend and wo and behold i now have 11 good size follies. Going in for egg retrieval under general on thursday. This is so exciting Image
Does anybody know if we're supposed to bed rest after ER and how sore is it afterwards?????

Cheers girls

Wendy, thats great news,i went home and slept for a few hours after ER but i rested more after ET,im due for FET,in 2 or 3 weeks and this time im having first week total bed rest then 2nd week will do a bit more but just chill out, think its up to how you feel personally, but after 2 failed attempts i just wanna lie and do nothing they say laughter is good for aiding implantation,so im renting all the series of only fools and horses, and laughing my ass off for two weeks...Hope all goes well for you, Take care..Nicola..xxx

Well done Wendy, excellent news. As you're having a general you will have to stay in for a few hours after. Mine was at 9 and I was allowed to go at 12.30. Everyone is different after EC, hate to say it but I wasn't too good. Was so uncomfortable for about a week after. Can make some people constipated which doesn't help.

Hope you are lucky and your pain is minimal but be prepared!

Good luck to you

Jordan - good luck to you too!

Wendy,i know its easier said than done, but try and relax, you gotta think this is the next step towards your BFP,im waiting on my protocol the clinic said they'd send it by post after i called on saturday with my period arrival,i've been waiting for the postman both monday and tuesday, i think it seems more real when you've actually got things in writinf from them (silly i know)..Im not really a believer in God,but for the last while im praying everyday that we all get ace news this month,i have this horrible aching need to be pregnant, and i think about it at least ten times a day :( :( :( Take care ladies..Nicola..xxx

Hi Nicola
I'm much calmer now you're right i do need to relax a bit so me and paul are going out for a steak tonight, poor guy i take it out on him as well.
Aww babe you must be going around the bend waiting for your protocol to come through the post. Your post man must think you're a crazy stalker  . I understand that waiting to start is so hard, why not go and try some acupuncture, it'll relax u and give you something pro-active to do while you wait.
Is this your 1st FET? How many little ones did you freeze hun?
Thinking about buying some dvd's for my 2ww, funny ones after your advice about the laughing Image

Take care chuck xxxx

Hi Nicola
Had a nice time last night, steak was lush. Did you get anything in the post today????

Hay Rachel
Good luck with your buseralin today, i used the same for down regging and it worked a treat.

Well i'm off to the hairdressers now and then off to buy a new nighty and slippers for hospital in the morning, these little treats all help make us feel better and god knows we deserve it.

Have a nice day everyone, speak soon

Hi ladies
Hope you are all well today. I've been reading a few of your comments about laughter being good for implantation. I just wanted to say I highly recommend Friends DVDs for a real feelgood factor :D I own every single episode on DVD and have watched them over and over each time I have had surgery and have never got bored as I am a real fan! It may sound stupid, and they may not be your cup of tea, but they might be worth considering!
Good luck and lots of babydust and glue to everyone on this board :)

Hi July friends...I had my first scan today...day 5 of stims....what is everyone's experience? I konw that everyone responds differently, but I only had 6 follies (between 8-10). Is that a "normal" or average number? I guess being on so many drugs made me think there would be more??? Am I overeacting for being a little depressed about this?

Thanks for any help or advice you can give!
