Best of luck from me too - gosh it suddenly goes so quickly but what a magical time - enjoy every second and remember to keep a diary - write down all those lovely feelings and record the firsts - I cant believe how grown up Emily is already and I love reading back about her first few weeks.

Hi there everyone -

hope you are all feeling great... how exciting - only a few more weeks to go for so many of us. Who would have thought it!

Well I'm starting to get a little jaded with the number of people who are telling me I must be due now, overdue or carrying twins because of the size of my bump. Also can't get over how many people keep telling me I'm definitely having a boy, because the bump is 'pointy' and my face isn't puffy. All this even when I tell them I don't know and I don't want to until s/he is born.

Anyone else getting this? DH and I are kind of hoping it's a girl just to prove them all wrong - although we really don't care of course!!

Had first ever bikini wax today - figured I'd rather that than being shaved at the hospital... I AM NEVER DOING IT EVER AGAIN, NOT EVER! Apart from not being easy from the point of view of having an enormous bump, OUCH! What a wimp I must be. Was thinking, if this is waxing, I'm never going to make it through labour without an epidural! Well, that will be interesting.

Take care eveyone,
laters

Joy - BP is still up, but not emergency up. When the doc checked me, though, he found that I'm 80% effaced, so I guess not too much longer.

I'm going in again on Sunday for another NST, U/S, and bloodwork. I'll drop you a msg when we get results!

I'm somewhat sure that they'll likely induce me before I'll know because my BP will go up again.

hi guys bit more activity on the site at the moment and we are all in the waiting game!
my BP has been kindof constant at around 100/60 which is pretty low which GP tells me is good for no danger but difficult because i have spent the last couple of weeks felling constantly faint. i am also struggling for breath every now and then which GP says i have a small frame and torso so baby which is average size when it moves can cause these problems .
( anyone advice with regards low BP and feeling faint at this stage?).
had scan last week , and at 34 wks baby was approx 5lbs and average everything which sounds good, getting some really strong braxton hicks now and patience os not good in this heat , how is everyone else doing and early contractions etc.... yet?
hope you are all well
lol

Hi Ladies,

I hope your all doing well - I have not been on too much these days as we have been real busy and all I want to do is sleep a lot as I am getting no sleep at night with these girls kicking :)

We had a scan done 2 wks ago and everything is fine except that one girl is transverse and the other breach so a 'C' Section has been scheduled for the 8th Aug :) Our nursery is all done now and I just cant wait to meet my little ones :)

Mandy I am glad your well, we are just 1 day apart and I am going through the same as you! I cannot breath a lot as these girls are taking up every inch I can possibly provide for them :) I am also getting very strong Braxton Hicks. I am told this is normal for this time in the pregnancy?

Smita how is your little one doing now and how are you? Thanks for remembering my due date :) Your such an Angel you care for us all so much - Thankyou :)

Anyway just wanted to give you all my love and best wishes :X

Love Jen

jen i cant believe you will have your girls on the 8th August , i am green with envy i cannot wait to meet my little one , DH going to sleep last night mumbled he was bored now and wanted to see what our baby looked like! We all know how he feels i am sure. I have got some spa medication today for increasing my iron naturally as my friend who is a nurse said to increase this to help my BP , drink as much water as possible and yes simitta as you say more salt in my diet. it is so fab to still hear from you , and i bet your baby is beautiful , 5 months is such a lovely age isnt it?
how is everyone else doing - 5 weeks to go!!!! no more please!
