Hi Girls…,

I really sorry when I said I want to have 9 months break from AF. I truly meant Pregnancy. We don’t have any AF during pregnancy, do we? This is something I am worried about, we are different language, culture, different way to express emotion, tell sympathy, give support etc. I hope I don’t hurt anybody’s feeling.

And… OMG!!!!  I just realized!!! After I finished read all postings carefully. I will be the first starter this thread. OMG!!! This stupid girl will lead you. OMG!!! I tell you my secret, i know NOTHING about IVF protocol !!! I only know that we have to do hormone injection, EC, ET, 2WW and HPT. That’s all. I don’t know what kind of hormone and drugs. The only hormones i remembered only FSH because my DR made a comment about mine. I also don’t know about how long each procedure will take. I tried to learn about IVF. What should do, what not to do, the risk,.... The more i learnt the more i panicked. So i throwed everything. Just let everything in God’s hand. OMG!!!

Well..., If I have to start first, I trully hope that i could bring a BFP to each of you. You are on my list of prayer. Remember always, as I ask my BFP to Jesus, I also ask Him to give a BFP for all of you.

I have to go… Still sticking with my morning walking, Jackie… Being the first starter, the more motivate me.

Girls , Good luck with class cooking. Tell me all healthy recipes you learnt.

Debz, i hope everything okay.. Is ur DH already at home?

Bye… Talk to you soon… GBU

Luv, Jemma

Laura
we have missed you and we are thinking of you too.... I know what it is like running running running.. we will be here :D :D :D :D

Jemma
You could not offend us..its funny from what I have seen on this board all of us are from so many differnent places and I don't want to sound too over the top but the point is we are all in this together so no matter how it is phrased or said we all will understand.. I always worried about telling ladies that I would pray for them (some may not agree) but I figured it can't hurt I am praying anyway so asking for prayers for friends will only help.....Also please don't worry about you being the one to lead us and not knowing about IVF.. From the looks of this thread you are the only one that has not gone through IVF soooooo we can help you.. That is why you are here with us (things happen for a reason) so we are here to help you with some of the questions you will have and you are here to get us off to a great start and to keep us positive.. See it all makes sense.. You will start off our thread with a BFP :D :D

Aunty I agree with the cooking I found a web site called my 'girlfriends kitchen" it is here in the states and you go and make food and take it home (frozen) it looks really neat.. I may go with a friend.. Unless you want to drive to Michigan and we can go :D :D :D :D
As far as keeping you busy what about volunteering some place? You are so kindhearted I bet you would be great at volunteering....
How was hubby and the tornado.. I did not hear about that did anyone get hurt (I hope not)

I will be missing for part of tomorrow Hubby has surgery tomorrow morning.. Nothing too serious but I will be back and forth with him from the hospital. and than ONE day later Saturday my mom comes....YEAH I AM SO EXCITED.....

love and hugs

Aunty
I keep forgetting you are originally not from the states.. We would have a good laugh (and probably get more food on the floor than in the pans from laughing)
I have attached a link for a map.. We are right next to one another.. I use to go to NY all the time as a kid. Depending on where in Michigan and where in New York I think it can be as short as a 2 hour drive..http://www.infoplease.com/states.html
Yes I think you are right about the volunteering. If I did not work that is what I would do.. I am also glad your sweet DH got home safely too you...

Yes I am excited about my mom coming to visit we are very very close and we just are going to spend time together.. She always makes me feel better and stronger (she is a lot like you ladies) keeping up my PMA.... :D :D

Jemma you are going to do so well and start us off very strong.. I agree with Aunty though you are going to have tons of questions so PLEASE just know you can ask us anything...

love and hugs

Funny Story.....

Post by LISA@BELLASALES »

Funny story to lighten up the day.... Boy IVF can make you crazy.
Remember what you eat during the day ladies it will save you some anxiety.
So I am on a very strict diet and alot of fruits and vegetables make up my day. Well I went to the bathroom and (sorry TMI) it was all red. I freaked out called my DH at work and said I have to go to the hospital, I am bleeding internally. I was frantic, He said I am on my way home. I tried to calm down and then it dawned on me. I ATE A WHOLE CAN OF BEETS THE NIGHT BEFORE. OMG, now I had to call my husband and tell him not to come home. Talk about embarrassing. I guess it would have been even more embarrassing if I showed up at the Hospital, and they came out and said Ummmm you have beets in your stool. Oh boy the stories we will have for our children.
Hope you all have a great day...

Oh Lisa, that made me laugh but your right i dont keep track of what ive eaten and sometimes the end result can be frightening...
how funny at least you figured it out before your trip to the er

i had a friend who went for her Pap when she got to the Dr's she needed the loo, after she sat down she realised there was no loo paper (weve all been there) well she used a tissue from her bag... she goes into the room legs up in the air the Dr sits down she sees him pick up some tweezers and put something in the dish next to the bed... as shes getting dressed she looks to see what hed removed from her nether reigons there was a stamp in the dish it must have been stuck in the tissue....how embarresed was she...lmao

have a great day too...hugs Debz

Hello Ladies! If I am correct in my math we will be doing the rest of the testing this month, then start the drugs next month... so I'll be either Sept or Oct.

This is our first time with IVF, so we are very nervous, and excited too.

Good luck to everyone and thanks for letting me join the club!! It's great to have such support.

Best Wishes!!

Bobbi
Welcome and you have found a really good group here... :D :D

Aunty and Lisa I have had the craziest day and I just fell off my chair... I was reading your story Lisa and I was getting panicked than I got to the end and laughed out loud.. The people around me at work think I am a complete nut case.. Ok maybe they thought that before but now its confirmed.....
:P :P

I have been doing my best to eat better but I got stuck in meetings all morning so I have been eating pretzels and Kalamata olive dipping sauce.. I can only imagine what it would look like if I went to the loo right now (TMI info I know but it is funny)

take care my dear friends I am going to try to get some substance in my belly

love and hugs

:D Thanks Everyone!

I love the stories... so funny.

Anyone else like me?> Meaning completely obsessed with reading every single piece of information out there about IVF / Infertility...etc etc? I can't even concentrate at work, all I want to do is get started.

Craziness. For those of you who have gone through IVF cycle before - how long did it take from the initial meeting with your specialist to the actual Implantation? With all the knowledge available... I'm still confused about the amount of time it all takes...that or I'm impatient... perhaps both!
