 Hi Littles and Camilla

Thanks for you help girls. I have finally decided to ask for my tubes to be clamped first and then if thats not possible to go for pulling the whole lot out. Stilll not sure this is the best but i dont want the problem of tubal syndrome if all the tubes are removed, best to try a little at a time first eh

So R you must be roasting over there. I love the sun but it must be so uncomfortable, just stay inside and chill out in the AC.
Are you getting excited yet about your FET? Not long to go now, you lucky thing.

Well have been round every estate agent possible today and still no house. I'm starting to get a bit anxious now as we have been to see loads and there just not up to scratch. There must be something hiding around the corner for us soon.

On a happier note, my mini is soososososososooo cool, wish i was 20 years younger as all the guys can't stop staring  (dh, if your reading this, i only have eyes for you----especially as you have good sperm hahahaha  )

Do you think the rest have abandoned us?? Hope not, come back girls, thats an order

Catch up soon

Love Jen x

Hey there octoblerones
Not abandoned!
Jen sorry you've been going through a tough time - I'm in the same boat as you. Had a scan last week that showed big hydrosalpinx. Have an appointment in 2 weeks to discuss next step with McFertile. Your mini sounds cooool.
Little R your cycle fast approaching - you seem move positive and motivated.

Sorry I've not been around. Work is sooooo busy. Also, I'm fed up with the ivf thing. It feels a million miles away and I'm glad. Don't want to think about it.
So. I probably won't be around much over the next month or so. Work will be mental until I go on holiday then off to france for 2 weeks. I'll be thinking of you all though, my favourite girls.
Take care of yo bad selves.
Lots and lots of love

 Oh Loopy you sound worse than me. Don't give up, i know how you feel about all this stupid fluid but we'll get it blasted out eventually. I just thought i had to do ivf a few times and he presto a bambino would eventually appear, didn't think i would then have probs with the tuberoos and hydro
Anyway, i know you have lots of work on but remember we are here for you and will try and help as much as possible.
Don't leave for long, we'll miss you.

Love Jen x

P.S my date came through for the hospital today, the op is defo on Aug 16th  . Wanted it earlier but will have to be patient. Only 4 months to go until next cycle

Dear Buddies

Jen - I'm glad you're happy with your decision and 16th Aug really isn't far off. And you'll need the time after your op to get ready for IVF. After all an athlete doesn't just turn up on the track to race she has to train first! Please try and be positive, your mind is a powerful thing. I sometimes feel I've been lecturing but I honestly don't mean to sound like that. I do care about you my friends and don't want to come across as unfeeling.

Little R - Yes, your pool doesn't sound so tempting now! Hope you manage to keep busy this weekend. Sorry, it's not a weekend over there is it? It's Sunday that's a normal day isn't it? Anyway I shall be thinking of you if I can't log on. I'm due on 5th Aug and my mum and dad are away next week so anytime after that will be fine!

Lola - You've had a lot on recently but of course we will all be here for each other whenever. Let us know the outcome of your appt in a couple of weeks though. Love to you.

Hello Walshy and Steph - :)

Am feeling tired today so shall probably have a little nap soon!

Love to you girls.

Hey Bunnies!!!
Did I dare read the word abandonment? Pish Posh, no ways....
Sorry girls, I was doing field work all last week, no computer on the lakes or on the trails.... but I have just caught myself up with all the news.

Loolers- Congrats on passes with great a**es! You are a chick with smarts and peachy bottom.. your DH and Demmy are lucky men! Am very sad that you will be away.. will you be taking Demetrio with you? Feel free to check in anytime and chat about life.. no IVFer talk needed.. can pretend we are posting in a Girls Gone Wild chat room, no?

Jens- what a decision luv! I hope that you can make the one that is right for you. sorry no help here... but you look fancy in the mini.. tss, tss kitty cat.

Littles- have you tired of your weather and sent it over here?? it is 105 today and we are not used to that. went swimming yesterday in what seemed to be bath water.. either that or I was in a very big hot tub  didn't stay for long until I ventured back to the AC and a bowl of ice cream!

Camilla- you are fast approaching due date!! I can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl.. hope you will post straight away when time comes... after all, what else will you have to think of after giving birth :)

Walsher- hmm.. dissappearing too? come back now.

Winks!

Morning

Yes it's quiet but everyone is still ticking over I feel. Getting ready for big things or resting.

Steph - Still gadding about! Yeah, you're right the weather can be too hot! Of course will let you know as soon as baby arrives. Erm what shall I do all day whilst baby is sleeping? Hello, don't think it will be quite like that! Hope you're energy levels are better now.

Love to all as always.

Girls! Girls!
Just a quickie style luvey message as am off for another day in the hot, hot outdoors. Luckily only light hiking today..... promise to drink a gallon of water!

We must have a chat........I have a very worrisome neggling feeling that our group is losing steam and dwindling..... say it isn't so!! We must stick together luv bunnies!! we still have BFP's to get.. then if you want to say na,na, na, na goodbye.. well, sadness, but OK.. Time to cowgirl up!! Let's go after this together.. I will be designated cheerleader with spirit fingers and spanky pants!! Hoo-RAH!

Am especially worried about gal pal Looler... am thinking that you are too fed up to deal anymore.. I hope not. Please remember that you can tell us wahtever you are feeling, even if it is doom and gloom. I feel as though you don't do that enough... vent, yell, crap all over everything.. whatever makes you keep on, keepin on.. However, if you need a break for sanity sake, I say- tear in my beer for missin ya, but OK.. come back when ready.. we will miss you everyday!

Ok noodlers.. expect to come back tommotrow with a page full of new messages!

Smack that *ss,
Steph!

Hi ladies,

Sorry I was once again MIA I have just had a lot on and havn't had a chance to reply to any of you. Work has been a bit hectic and by the time I get home get on the treadmill cook dinner etc I don't really want to log onto the computer.

So what is happening here with the Octobuds.....Ms Lola has gone and there seems to be no posts for a while. I am the same as Steph say it isn't so that we are disbanding.... Congrats Ms Lola on the whole passing the exmas thing...secretly we knew you would do it, we just need to now let your head have a rest from all the studying/worrying etc. Please drop in and chat with us when you can. Hop back on when you've had your appointment with Mr McFertile and hopefully it will be some good news for you.

Jen not long now until your operation to get clamped. I am sorry I wasn't around when you needed us to bounce ideas off. I would have said what the lovely ladies on here have already said but am glad that you have made a decision and can move onto the BFP. What is happening with your DH my DH gets onto to check and there are never any messages. Have you found a house yet? Are you over the whole packing up thing or having you even started.

Camilla the baby is nearly cooked just a few more turns and it'll be ready. Can't wait to here your birth story and what your little one is. The countdown is on. Has your belly button popped?

Little R swimming around sounds great but in a big bath I don't know. When are you starting again? The name of the book I was telling you about is called Baby Steps by Jason Davis. I read it and found it hilarious just because we have all been through it what he is goind through. He writes about how to get his sample in on time and how working under pressure is hard when you have a little container to fill and are watching the clock so you don't miss the bus to get to the clinic. It was just a great refreshing story from a guys point of veiw. I would recommend your husband to get it. My DH is reading it and laughing at the things.

Steph how are you doing? Are you enjoying this being pregnant business is it all that it's cracked up to be? When are you having your scan to find out the sex? I hate suprises so I would have to find out.

Well ladies not much to report from this end. Going to see the Dr next week and am still doing accupuncture hoping that this will work. Then i will be onto round 3 and hopefully a BFP for me.
Take car thinking of you all often, Walshy

Hi buds

Steph - I just think everyone is busy, don't think Octobunnies are over! As Walshy said, when is your scan - the one when you find out what you're having?

Walshy - Obviously you'll let us know what your doc says next week, right? Is it just to get dates for starting in Aug? Glad you're having the acupuncture. I didn't feel any different whilst having treatment but am convinced it helped me conceive. Yeah, my tummy button has popped out - urgh!

Well will try to be back tomorrow.

Mornin Gal Pals from over the globe!

Hows my kittens today... it is still hot, hot, hot here.. yuck.. although no longer heat of 105, today is only to be 90...bleeeehhhhh. I hate hot!! I am a cold weather gal. bring on the wooly sweaters! Summer over is my wish. Could never live with Littles.

So, had very embarrasing moment yesterday.. went to potty right before left to go home.. went down the elevator 8 floors standing in front of people.. walked through the lobby... walked about a block- a city block while everyone was leaving work and waiting for buses.. then this car pulls up next to me and says.. hey lady, your skirts up in the back!! Gasp! My skirt was tucked into the top of my slip and I walked around like that... even outside!! the horra. then to have it screamed to me from a car.. the best part is that I was walking with a friend the entire time, but she was beside me walking and never noticed! My cheeks were red for a good hour afterwards.. tee, hee, hee.

I am leaving for my va-kay on Sunday and will be gone until next Sunday. I can't wait to sleep in! I have another doc appt on Monday when i get back and we will schedule the ultrasound then. It will probably be the next week and I will find out what I am having.. if baby cooperates and shows us their goods. EVERYONE insists that I am having a girl.. even my 5 year old nephew says it's a girl.. so we will all be shocked if it is a boy. I can't wait to start shopping!

Walsher- Busy Girl! I remember when my evenings were filled with stuff like treadmills.. miss the workouts (def. worth it, but still miss the sweating from a great step or yoga class) .. such a stress reliever! let us know about appt. next week.. you will be beginning very soon.. oh how fun.. bfp for walshy here we come! all this and shootin up with needles too.. what a girl.. health nutter!

Camilla- My friend who is 4 weeks away from delivery says she feels like a can of refridgerated crescent rolls that is ready to pop.. you too? I still can't believe you waited to find out.. self control of steel!

Jens- sunning away.. enjoy! I avoid the sun like the plague.. but I bet you look great, especially in your little sex car. Don't work too hard!

Loolers- ams till going to say hi to you luv... hi if you are there.. breaking into song.. somewhere out there, beneath a clear blue sky.... someone's thinking of you.. Or is you prefer.. she's a ladeh.. oh, oh, oh.... Or... ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.. stop! Collaberate and listen, Ice is back with a brand new invention.. ICe, ICe , Baby...

Littles- Where to fab gab? stop back round these her parts......

avoidin the heat,
countin down til vacation,
Steph
