Hi,
I am 16 weeks and 4 days pregnant and for the last 3 weeks have been having butterfly feelings in my tummy and am guessing this is the baby tinkling me. However over the last 3 days have felt very little and am totally paranoid that something is wrong. I had a lot of adominal pain last week and ended up in A&E who checked the babys heart beat which was fine, but he wouldn't refer me to have a scan. I rang the midwife who told me to go to A&E and ended up seeing someone from maternity.
Do u think the weatehr plays a part in this? I know you more you worry, the more the baby won't move, but this is driving me crazy.
Can anyone help or reassure.

I totally understand the worry. I too felt the baby early, starting at 14 weeks, and then right around 17 weeks I felt nothing for a couple days in a row. I was totally freaked out, went to the doc and had things checked out. Same thing happened at about 22 weeks. Things turned out to be just fine luckily. In both cases they checked the heartbeat althought at 22 they did an extra scan since I had a spot of bleeding. Your abdominal pain may be caused by round ligament pain, which is NOTHING to worry about, but is painful and until you know what it is and what it feels like, is just something else to get worked up about.
Your feelings are completely normal so don't feel bad about calling the doc, midwife, etc and pushing until you get the reassurance you need. I hope you are doing well!
